Assume this is a Scam. I am fed up with receiving these messages on my Messenger page. Have never and don't intend ever to answer them, knowing especially how dangerous links can be

Signed up unwittingly as was a link to a different site! They instantly sent 3 messages simultaneously, at £1.50 each!!! I am so angry that this is not being stopped and we are all being robbed.
SCAMMERS
I have NO idea who they are or how I came to have this on my phone, It's so annoying!! When I searched on reviews I didn't come across any real positive feedback, in fact they're totally slated, so how come they are still up and running? I SMELL A SCAM, be cautious.
Alerts4U is a scam
Alerts4U is a scam. I scanned a QR code sent to me on a letter from Our Future Health (in Partenrship with NHS) asking me to to take part in health research.
I emphasize Our Future Health is an honourable company working with the NHS but they are aware that some QR code scanners have been compromised by these fraudsters. I have reported this to Action Fraud.
Charged text alerts QR code scam
This is a scam that has been reported many times and uses a QR code that is scanned when a person is signing up to another business. I signed up for a petrol card with BP and thought the QR code was part of it. It was the scam instead and I received adverts (called alerts) and charged £1.25 a time, Thet also use Asda, Shell and othres. Are these companies in the scam as well or are the QR codes hijacked to go to the scam site? When I tried to get a refund they wasted my time waiting to speak to someone only to then declare that they would ring back. Then a whole load of silent calls started, 10 in a single day, every day. I don't beleive they will ever speak to me, they will just keep bothering me with the scam calls until I get fed up answering the phone except for those that I know. Surely this disgusting scam can be stopped and for companies to prevent them from benefiting from hijacking into their business.
Total rip off..
Total rip off... disgusiting.. I was taken to this app by an ID verification website wise.com. alerts4u took money from my phone balance and to cancel it, I had to send another sms and it rip me off for another 1 pound.. total scam merchants,, RIP OFF!!!
SCAM -via QR Shell
I innocently thought I was scanning a QR code at a Shell garage for information on their fuel cards and then got inundated with scam text messages at £1.25 each! I didn’t realise this was happening until I received my mobile bill! Not happy 🤬 It’s a SCAM!!

Thought I was updating the Lidl app and ended up signing up to this in error - it looked to be part of the app update. Only realised I was being charged £1.25 every alert that came through when I got my monthly bill. Am currently trying to stop this service, which I did not want in the firsdt place.
Not impressed.
Scam scam scam
Scam scam scam
Thought I was signing up to Asda rewards using QR code, instead was actually getting random text about nothing I want and costing me £1:50 every time.Stop text is useless, scared to ring landline incase get even more charges.
It's a scam...no more and no less
It's a scam...no more and no less. Shame on the Parking contractor, Horizon Parking, for allowing this. I will be writing to Alert4U asking for my £4.50 back and Horizon Parking, Premier Inn and Beefeater (customers of the latter have little choice but to park in the Horizon car park. I have already written to BBC Watchdog. When you call them, you get an answer machine that promises a call back in 24 hours...which doesn't happen. I am like a terrier with these people and have always, eventually, got my money back....even when it's taken a year.
Absolute scam
Absolute scam where by using a qr scanner you go into their site rather than the site you think you are scanning to go to. They then extract multiple premiums if £1.50 each for a non existent service which you did not want or knowingly sign up to. Why are these scams not closed down or blocked by the phone providers from extracting money from my account???
This company tricks you into signing up up…
This company tricks you into signing up when you use the QR code scanner possibly called Qr-scanner. It an ad which pops up as if it's the item you just scanned. Not yet sure how to get out of it but definitely never using this QR code scanner again
A total scam
Even though they forwarded me alleged evidence of signing up I definitely did not do so but can't prove it. All very frustrating and a total scam. They should be banned from operating.
Scam texts alerts 4u
Out of the blue , I began receiving texts from this alerts 4 u. Claiming £1.50 per text. How has this happened? Why won't virgin media sort this ? Is this a scam ? 02081253903
Since reading other reviews,it is clear that this is a scam. Yet it is being facilitated by otherwise reputable firms. Why ?
Yes- Scammers!
Yes - like everyone else I have been scammed by this company. I scanned a bar code at a petrol station (Texaco) and somehow ended up subscribing to this company at £1.50 per notification. At no point was it clear this was happening and disgusted at Texaco and this Alerts4U and apparently a company called SB7 mobile for conspiring or facilitating this scam.
I have had 2 texts out of the blue
I have had 2 texts out of the blue from this company. It seems yet another scam. £1.50 per text premium rate. I do not want anything to do with Alerts4You. How come I've got involved with them is beyond me. I have reported them to my mobile phone provider and blocked them from my number. Luckily I have not been charged.
Alerts4u
Alerts4u
I thought I was setting up streaming service "stv player" using my smart TV after a receiving a text message advising me to use my voice command on sky Q tv remote speaking in STV Player, got Link on tv showing QR code I scanned with my mobile and got page on mobile asking me to join, then asked to enter my email and phone number on phone and when done immediately received text telling me I had subscribed to this scam service ALERTS4U. One text said, text stop, to unsubscribe cost would £1,50 I did not, have thus far only received one text and no charges, so figured sending text stop may be the trigger for signing on. Best to contact phone service provider to block them. Authorities should take action because it is fraud in anyone's language.
I have had charges on my phone bill Tesco mobile most unhelpful. Found a number 02081 253903 to stop texts only time will tell if it works.
