I originally booked with AlphaRooms in 2020, and had to postpone my holiday 3 times due to COVID. On the 3rd occasion, I decided to cancel my booking completely as I was uncertain when travel restrictions would be lifted. I expected a refund in full for the money I had paid, however I was advised that I had a travel voucher for this amount, valid for 1 year. I just went to look on their website to rebook and use my voucher, to discover the company has gone into liquidation. I received no email to advise of this, and I now have no idea how I am supposed to claim back my money, as I did not have an existing future booking with them. I am very concerned that I will now lose out on getting back my money. Poorest experience I have ever had with a booking agency.

Couldn’t say anything bad enough to sum up this company. Cancelled our accommodation a day before our holiday didnt offer any other accommodations or even try to help got about 3 different excuses and told we would be refunded within 28 days, been 25 and still received no refund not expecting one either will probably have to go through insurance. Awful customer service and not even an apology either. DONT BOOK WITH THEM

Paid for everything turned to hotel in turkey to find out they have not paid the hotel and have cancelled ny booking? Have not received refund back yet its been 4 month. Never use them.

booked with alpha rooms in 2019 to go away in may 2020 but the pandemic made it impossible for me to go,,so i got on the phone to alpha rooms and they said they would refund me in a voucher,, because my hotel what i booked was none refundable but that wasn't exactly my fault so i explained to them they said i would be abled to book another hotel for 2021,, which i did now they gone bust i got no way of getting my hotel money back don't know what to do.

Alpha Holidays, trading as Alpharooms.com have had their Travel Trust Association membership closed on 29th October 2021.

This means that sadly, your existing booking with Alpha Holidays will not be fulfilled.

Had an awful experience with Alpharooms. Recently they had their travel industry licence withdrawn. This is a company that posts its own positive reviews on Trustpilot. Embarrassing as one claimed that employee Vicky was a good chap!!! Says it all. Good news they will not exist soon.

Omg avoid! Money stealers! Absolute liers! Since June telling me every time i call for refund next week! Worst company! Would never ever book anything again with them. Disgusting. Shame on you

Never ever ever ever use alpha rooms, they are professional crook who will take your money. Numerous problems and alarm bells from the start, then topped off with them "liquidating" 4 days before my holiday leaving me without a hotel and several hundred pounds lighter which they have made incredibly difficult to get back. I will be reporting them and hopefully these scam artists are punished.

Waiting 16 months for refund they tell you you are on the list for refund when you ask to speak to a manager they are never available would never book with them again

I have just found out Alpha rooms have gone bust I wish had not used this company I think I could say good by to my money it's owned by Truly holdings holiday iam not giving up what a crap company how can they sleep at night ripping off all these costummers

Con artists they owe me 1200 pounds , did some digging around and have found the ceo address, miles house beech Lane Effingham Surrey. Very nice country house no doubt paid for by conning peoples money so will be paying a visit very soon. I suggest everyone who is owed money do the same.

Shocking customer service, I was overcharged on 28.09.21 and I’m still waiting on my money back ! Despite my calling them three times..
Will not use them again

Very sketchy company, booked rooms with free cancellation. It was in the USA so with covid restrictions there was no way we could travel, not through a lack of wanting to, just unable to due to government measures. But you can’t phone them and they take days to reply which eats away at the time frame.. if they even reply.

My advice would be to book elsewhere unless the price with these is so good it cannot be missed but be warned, you do run the risk of losing your money.

I do not think any one now will get their money back.
I think I will give up
Lesson definitely learnt!!
Asking for details now that you paid for your holiday, then page crashes!!
