As anyone got a number to get hold of these been robbed anyone actually ever got a refund from them

was meant to get my refund last May and September and I am still waiting on alpharooms to give it back to me. I have sent them on dozen of emails but not one reply. I got a voucher saying I would get it back within a year but nothing. How long does it take or how many times do I have to post on this to get my money back. Alpharooms not good would never travel with you and would advice other people to do the same.

We flew to Malta on 17th October to be told by hotel reception that our room had been cancelled day before luckily they had a room and I at to pay myself it was £100 cheaper than what alpharooms charged me I was one of the lucky ones I got my money back within 3 days this company should not be allowed to start up again they have spoilt to many peoples holidays

Ceased trading 29 October with no notification or information just a notice on what used to be their website.
All bookings will no longer be fulfilled
Absolutely disgraceful

Just arrived at my hotel in Dubai to be told that our booking was cancelled by alpha rooms yesterday. No email from alpha rooms. Now costing us an additional €2100. You’re an absolute disgrace.

They have ceased trading today so get a refund for any future holidays with them ASAP. We had no hotel on arrival and luckily the hotel had a room and it was cheaper. Still no refund yet though…. I guess a lot of people will have been or will be in the same boat.

I booked a free cancellation room, which after I cancelled they took another payment. Apparently I am now only due credit vouchers valid until 2023 for a company I will never use again
Have checked with the hotel who confirmed Alpharooms paid them no money yet they think it’s okay to hold onto my cash, and will not explain their reasons for doing so

Do not book with alpha rooms we had to pay an additional £1000 for our stay for a hotel already prepaid from here. Do jot use them and don’t ask for a refund they won’t the you claim from the court or c card

Me and my family turned up at 1am at our hotel in Spain to be told that our room had been cancelled. When we eventually got through to Alpharooms.com they stated that the room had indeed been cancelled and they were going to give me a refund. I had to pay the hotel direct at a greatly increased cost. As yet I haven’t received a refund. Contacting the help line is a complete waste of time as I was just left on hold. As the rest of the other reviewers are saying stay well clear of this company.

This review is to help anyone who got robbed by this company and found the booking was cancelled either prior to travel or after staying few days at the booked hotel and got told the reservation been cancelled .

There is a problem with alfarooms and it seems to be to many countries where they receive the money from you and send you confirmation email but don’t pay the supplier and the supplier is left with no option but to cancel the booking !!

We booked holiday in sharm El sheikh and the supplier in Egypt got an email stating fraud booking and alfarooms will not pay !!

DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MORE MONEY TRYING TO CONTACT ALFAROOMS !! you’ll end up with a big bill for phone calls and you’ll end up waiting for 1 hour and will put the phone down !! and if they do answer will advise you that they lost contract with supplier and will refund you !! And ask you to book a hotel even if it’s more expensive and keep receipts which they will refund in full ( which is full of sh**t )

If you want your money back ( specially if you booked from the UK) all you need to do to login to your online banking and report the transaction through online app and the bank will sort it out for you ASAP!

AGAIN DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY TRYING TO GET IT TOUCH WITH THEM AS THEY WILL NOT HELP AND WILL COST YOU MORE MONEY !!

My dad got left to pay for his hotel again as alpharooms haven't paid it. He paid it again to the hotel and hasn't had a refund as alpharooms are holding his money so he's paid twice. I am also £340 down from a holiday last November that was cancelled due to covid. Don't book please save your money and book direct with the hotel

booked a hotel, paid full amount and they have cancelled the booking one week before i leave with no alternative giving. only a 'you will receive a refund in 28 days!' email, which everyone know will not be the case!!
Do not book through this company.

Still waiting on a refund after 2 years nearly thousands of phone calls been fobbed off or phone hung up if I could give a zero star that's what I'd be doing worse company ever .I'm writing to the company regulations office in the UK as regards this company

I Turned up in Tenerife on the 15th October only to be told that my apartment had been cancelled, as Alpha rooms had not paid the hotel. The hotel staff were great, they tried to ring the local Alpha Rooms number as did I for over an hour, but neither of us could get through. I was fortunate the hotel had a free apartment and I paid again. Trying to get in touch with Alpha Rooms is a nightmare, all they can say is you will be refunded in 28 days. No apology, no explanation . I will never use Alpha Rooms again and will tell everyone I know not to use them. They should be shut down.

Turned up in spain only for my room to be cancelled by alpha rooms after we paid them in full on august 2,hav being told we wil get a full refund in 7 days and still waiting,every time we ring dey put us on hold an then hang up how can any company get away with this,I hope der staff get what’s coming to them!!

Currently on holiday in Turkey in a lovely resort. After a couple of days we were contacted by the hotel reception to say that our room had not been paid for. We were asked to contact our agent and get a confirmation e mail of the invoice paid to the supplier and the hotel could not have been nicer to us. On using the telephone number on our accommodation voucher, for in resort queries, we have been given a number of actions that would be carried out including the much needed copy of the paid invoice, however 24hours later this has still not arrived. If I hear one more time “Yes I understand” and “just one more hour” from my regular phone call to sort this I think I will kill them. I don’t think they were really getting the stress of being asked to vacate my room with two children unless there was payment with me having to keep asking for more time with no actions being carried out. We are in the process again of expecting the e mail within an hour or face an extortionate bill which I have no doubt will not be covered. We have lost 24hours of our holiday trying to sort this which is beyond frustrating. It shouldn’t matter that we have not been on holiday in so long however this has meant precious time and energy on what is just a much needed week’s holiday. Cannot strongly enough suggest you avoid this company.

Due to go to turkey tomorrow and have just come across an email in my junk email (don’t usually look at my junk) advising that they have cancelled my hotel!! Disgusting
