AlphaRooms are fraudsters! They are taking bookings and payments from holidaymakers, who arrive at their hotels to find them cancelled. They are not paying their suppliers, and are ignoring threats of prosecution from the CMA. People have been left with no accommodation, some with young children. Heartless Company!

total joke just cancelled us 4 days before we are due to fly and not willing to give us a refund for 28 days left us in the pooh tried calling useless call handlers total speachless and so upset

Absolute joke this company don’t bother, please read the other reviews on here. If you have to make any changes to your booking i.e your flights change, they have the pleasure in charging you £30 per person to amend any part of the booking, and £50 per person per supplier charge to cancel and you lose your deposit. Terrible.

I was having difficulty hearing my previous call to Alpharooms, therefore I was grateful to get a call from Vincent who helped me with my problem of booking a holiday with the vouchers I had. Vincent was very helpful, polite, friendly and efficient. He is excellent at his job. Thankyou

We arrived in Corfu today, 23rd October 2021, having booked our hotel with Alpharooms in March 2021. The hotel said our reservation had been cancelled by Alpharooms and showed us proof of cancellation request dated 8th October 2021. Yet Alpharooms had requested full payment from us on 13th October 2021, which we paid. We called Alpharooms today to sort it out and were put on hold for 60 minutes before being disconnected with not even a discussion about a solution. We’ve had to pay an additional €2000 for the only room left in the hotel which is a lower grade of room but more expensive due to lack of availability. We have tried tirelessly today to contact Alpharooms to sort it out. Nothing….. and not one response to our support request through our ‘booking page’. Please be wary of booking!

Booked accommodation 08.01.20 and paid upfront on credit card. Flight was cancelled due to covid so we were unable to travel to Spain. They originally agreed to refund part of our payment but then scrapped that and said that as they were no longer able to offer the accommodation, they'd make a full refund. Then they issued a credit note valid to 30.09.21, saying they'd issue a refund after that date. Emailed them on 01.10.21 to ask for refund but instead they issued another credit note, this time valid to 31.12.23. They clearly have no intention of making any refund and I wouldn't rebook using the credit note because they are not to be trusted to deliver on their promises. I wouldn't advise anyone to book with Alpharooms unless they can afford to lose a lot of money.

They do not deserve any stars. We were left overseas with no hotel as Alpharooms took our money and never passed it on to the hotel.
Not helpful at all. Avoid these cowboys at all costs. Cost me another £800 to book another hotel.

Booked a hotel in Dublin with my voucher I had due to a cancelled holiday. Voucher was for 744.00 used 330.00 to book the hotel then put the 414.00 towards another hotel in Jamaica. My flights are booked for Jamaica but I am now nervous given the reviews. So arrived at the hotel in Dublin to find I had no reservation. i eventually got through to alpha rooms who said it was someone else cancelled the reso another partner company. I had to pay for the hotel again. I was assured by Martin that I would have my refund back that was a week ago. As I have always used them in the past with no issues I gave them the benefit of the doubt before adding this review but I have made umpteen phone calls to no avail and reached out of Facebook and nothing. I have also been told by martin not to fret as they pay my hotel in Directly. If someone from Alpha room is reading this I have no issue with removing it but I want my money back and I want confirmation that my hotel in Jamaica is confirmed and guaranteed

Elton helped me today with patient and even called me back right away once I lost my connection. I was trying to sort my booking amendment for a week I am glad my last call reached to him. He professionally took over the process and achieved the result I was looking for. Those bookings are already stressful and you need people like Elton you feel like you are in good hands. Thank you so much, looking forward for our family holiday.

If there was a zero star I would give it. This company are complete scammers. I had paid money towards a holiday that was then cancelled due to Covid. I asked for a refund about six months later, was told it would be issued when possible. Not a very transparent or professional response. In the meantime I decided to book Portugal late September this year. Booked through Alpharoons as I had a credit and paid a balance. All going smoothly you might be forgiven for thinking. Alas, arrived in Albuferia after a long day to be told at the hotel our booking was cancelled due to non payment. Voucher and receipt in hand, no good. Had to pay for that nights accommodation. Contacted Alpharooms thinking it would all be sorted, some silly misunderstanding. After holding for 25 minutes on the 'emergency contact line', I was told by an Alpharooms representative to pay for our accommodation, keep our receipts and they would fully refund us once we sent the receipts on to them via email. No excuses or explanation. We were upset but determined not to let this ruin our break. I have sent them 5 or 6 emails, receipts attached and not even an acknowledgement.

Turned up at Aquasol Hotel in Majorca on 17th October 2021 to be told my booking had been cancelled , after paying and money taken from my account on 20/09/2021 . The Booking was cancelled by alpharooms on 21/09/2021 without any contact to me but to the providor . Absolute Thieving Company even rang them took an hour to get through in Majorca to be told sorry we need to investigate , but promised refund , still not recieved dont think i will , now have to go to Credit card company to ask them to refund who will do it and then chase alpharooms . Beware do not book with them as the Hotel told me this was a regular occurence in October to other customers as well , advertize cheap price then leave you stranded whilst not in your own country should be shut down !!!

Arrived in Dubai to find our hotel we had booked and paid for in full had been cancelled the day before we arrived with no mention to us until we tried to check in! Spent 4 hours sitting in reception and £145 on phone calls to be told there is nothing we can do! Had to pay the hotel directly at a hugely inflated on the day rate and alpharooms still owes us almost £2000 in lost costs. Never book through them....

I spoke to a very helpful chap called Vicky who sorted my query and sent me my confirmation while still on phone
He was very polite and professional

Turned up at our hotel in Hurghada Egypt on 18th October 2021 to be told no booking no rooms contacted alpharooms who confirmed that the booking had been cancelled by there agent, the hotel contacted the agent who told us they had never received any payment or booking from alpharooms.
This company is run by a bunch of crooks and thieves . I accepted a voucher over 18months ago due to covid and they are not honouring them.
So they are now being taken to the SCC to get my money back.
Do not book with this company you have been warned.
