Robbed by this company they have had my money since December2019 until we arrived at the FLASH HOTEL BENIDORM only to find only one room booked and no payment made. We phoned numerous times and even the hotel manager was promised the payment only for my party having to pay £1120 to stay so PLEASE avoid this lecherous company at all costs.

Very Bad customer service, my holiday was cancelled last year and after loads of calls I'm still no closer to getting my money back, avoid this company. they just keep telling me i will get a call in the next 15 days, yes the call never comes.

Contacted by alfarooms that our hotel was closing before our due date holiday, Alfa rooms had offered a similar hotel same type of room and same board as before which we accepted, swift change over of hotel and paperwork and it was all sorted very promptly..thank you Logan at Alfarooms.

Alpha rooms have been shocking,cancelled both my hotel and my sisters two days before travel but all was not lost. Two great customer service Advisers Ryder and Martin came to our rescue and sorted it out before we travelled. Wanted to say a huge thank you as Im sure they both went out of their way to resolve this for us and it was greatly appreciated

We had a booking through alpharooms for half term for a hotel we visit regularly in Lanzarote. We were surprised and shocked to receive an email from them asking us about the cancellation a week before our arrival.
This is the same story as all the rest on here. Alpharooms took our money but they did not pay the supplier who subsequently cancelled the booking. We had received no communication from alpharooms and can still log in to the booking and see the hotel voucher. So we didn’t get suspicious I suppose.

They lie to you on the phone, tell you it’s all fine and to check again with the hotel. This is usually after you are on hold for a considerable amount of time. Their PHONE LINES ARE PREMIUM NUMBERS and I didn’t realise this until I received a text from my mobile provider saying I’d reached my spend cap. So they rub salt in the wound too.
I agree with all the other comments, thieves, scammers, criminals etc.
While we have no choice but to pay the hotel directly, ie pay twice for our stay, we at least have good relations with the hotel who have kept our rooms. We have somewhere to stay unlike others.
I feel for the people who arrive with the shock of cancellation with no warning, at least the hotel had informed us in advance.

I read the helpful review about the CMA taking them to court. It doesn’t seem to be having any effect.
We’ll be going for the small claims court (this is easy and online, not as onerous as you’d think), when we return from holiday with the bill for alpharooms, but I suspect the big boss has already taken the money and ran....like in all her previous directorships. I think only a long prison sentence is likely to have an effect on these sorts of people.

CHECK YOUR BOOKING DIRECTLY WITH THE HOTEL AND DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD ALPHAROOMS TELL YOU.

Absolutely shocking company!! I have never known anything quite like it, no communication, hang up, defer to another department, and still nothing gets resolved! I even took a credit note to help them during the pandemic and booked early October for a hotel for 4 nights, when I arrived in Greece the hotel told me Alpharooms had cancelled my stay and never told me! I had to find another hotel and pay myself! I was on the phone from Greece to alpha rooms emergency line and they just kept passing me around, I gave after after 4 hours on the phone to them! Please please do not use this

Never book with this company i booked my hotel in cyprus over 12 months ago turn up to be told ther was no booking, yet i had paid nearly £1,800 to alpha rooms, to be told by the hotel my booking was cancelled😱 phoned alpha rooms every day for the past 12 days to be kept being told you will receive a refund in 2-3 working days.. still no refund, THIS COMPANY LET A FAMILY WITH 2 YOUNG CHILDREN TRAVEL TO CYPRUS AND THEN HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER ACCOMADATION😱 i have asked numerous times to speak with manager or thomas who is dealing with this case and they just hang up on you.

Had my holiday cancelled in March 2019 told I had a credit note for 1 year and then I can apply for refund Iv been trying since March 2020 to get refund if they answered the phone told me someone from the refund department would get back to me .Iv now received an email saying the refund deadline has lapsed and I’m not entitled to refund

Avoid at all Costs. If you are lucky enough to get away on your holidays call ahead and make sure they have actually booked your room!! They usually cancel it and you have to pay again. Then take them to small claims court to get your money back.

What a set of con merchants. Dont book with alpharooms. Cancelled my rooms. Got all way to benidorm and no rooms. Had to pay again . Still no refund. No explanation. Nothing

Alpharooms what a nightmare . Had my holiday July 2020 cancelled and told we had a credit note so been trying ever since to get refund and it’s hopeless , rebooked to go to Spain on Thursday this week and hotel contacted me yesterday and said alpharooms have not paid for the rooms so booking cancelled. Thankfully we know this before we arrive as some on this site are in a worse position and turning up for holiday . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Please do not make a booking with this company. We have been waiting for a refund since August 2020 for a cancelled holiday. The hotel was closed and confirmed they received no payment from alpharooms but alpharooms kept our payment.
