Ordered a print of the Wainwright Fells for a Christmas present for my mum. I had already seen it in the window of the Keswick shop and so know it is a good quality print. It only took two days to arrive after ordering so I am impressed by this shop. Great service

I had visited the shop over a year ago and brought a couple of wine glasses. I visited their website and order 4 more glasses. They came in a few days and were well packaged. Happy with this professional and efficient service.

I am very pleased with the items I purchased for Christmas presents. As ever they arrived promptly and were carefully packed so that they arrived without damage, and were of very good quality. I like Alternative because you stock unusual gifts which are not easily found elsewhere. I shall certainly be using you again!

I always buy from here when I’m in the lakes and even better online. However the Christmas ornament I bought didn’t quite look like what was on the website. I contacted to store and they gave a refund without problems. I would shop here again, they have an excellent range of beautiful gifts and homeware

Bought some mugs in the shop then ordered some more online sadly 3 of the 4 arrived broken. I was refunded for all 4 in acknowledgement of the disappointment within 24 hrs. Excellent response. Will buy the mugs on our next visit to Keswick. Lovely shop, staff and service.

We love this shop. While on holiday we always make a trip to Keswick to see what new treasures there are. Great service and Boe our dog always gets a fuss while we browse.

Having discovered the Alternative Giftshop in Keswick last week and bought a few small gifts for family & friends, I decided I needed a couple more of the small, quirky vases and a few other little gifts (including a vase for me!), so was delighted to realise these could be purchased online. The website was very easy to navigate and the gifts arrived, carefully packaged, very quickly. My son and his girlfriend visited Keswick and bought a porcelain photo frame and wrapped it up for me as a present, I love it so much I went on the site and bought another frame and a plant pot in the same bee range,!!!
