Shambles of a company! Id of give this -5 stars if I could.
As a former driver, they can not get a simple order correct. Either completely wrong, missing parts, wrong items, wrong address wrong customer phone numbers. All the reviews are spot on here AVOID! They are happy to take orders and customers' money, but that's it. Once they have your order, you're left in the dark, and they leave it all down to the delivery driver to sort.
They break all promises.
The last reviews with 5 stars is the company sending drivers out with Google review cards to try and get good reviews because they know that they cant get a simple order right.Every other review is correct.
They break all driving rules to get their product delivered and expect you to work upto 20hrs a day driving up to 1000 miles! Then expect you to drive the same day with 4 hrs sleep. Don't believe me message me I'll send proof!
Also, they do not take care of the vehicles and always break down! Probably due to the fact they don't pay the mechanics to fix them. Again, don't believe me. I'll send proof!! Absolute joke of a company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Unless you want to wait upto 6mths for a full complete order and love being on the phone daily to see where it is, this is company for you

Not Happy
Started the process to order glass for an extention in February for delivery in August. Paid deposit as requested then remainder for full payment before delivery. In between order and delivery communicated throughout to make sure all was in place confirming units and measurements were correct.
Delivery of glass arrived as discussed on the 22nd August only to find there were 6 units of glass missing. Spoke to Customer Service who investigated and wasn't sure how that had happened. Had to wait for the glass to be manufactured and arranged another delivery for today 5th September. Delivery turned up with yet another 2 pieces of glass missing, the main panels for the extention. Again another phone call to Customer Services who, again are not sure what has happened but have put in the order which, should be with us next Tuesday 9th September which is not ideal as this glass is needed to complete the work. Won't go into any more details of the problems we have encountered throughout this process. I wrote an email to a lady in Customer Services last week to which, I am still waiting for a response. I am hoping that she has forwarded it onto the relevant dept because when we phoned to confirm the time of delivery she had moved departments.
This is getting very stressful for us as it's causing a knock on effect with other works that need to get done in order to complete the extention.

35 years of installing this is by far the worst company I have ever used. Two months for the two sets of bifolds to arrive and another 2 months to rectify the on going problems! Terrible customer service, Terrible product.
Handles breaking, door sash to small the problems go on and on!

An excellent end to end experience
I very rarely take time out to write a review. However, on this occasion I have to give credit where due. I’ve read all the reviews where people had challenges. I can honestly say our engagement and subsequent order with Alufold has been smooth, faultless and timely all the way through. We ordered the sliding doors and Apex windows via a man called Chris Bulmer. The doors were measured, ordered and fitted by Darren Moulten and his son Reece. Completely faultless from start to finish. Bespoke doors and Apex windows arrived 16 days after ordering. We spoke with Chris at least 3 times over a year (visited factory twice) before we ordered the doors. Chris kept in touch with us but there was no sign at all of being pushed into placing an order before we were ready. Chris recommended Darren to fit the doors and from the moment we contacted Darren we were confident we were in good hands. Our builders have been very impressed with the doors and the fit and the delivery timescales.
Like I said, I would rarely write a review but I think it’s only fair to share a good experience.

Order placed in February and arrived…
Order placed in February and arrived later than advised in March. One DG unit arrived broken. Two replacements sent out two weeks later both damaged. We are still waiting on unit 5 to be delivered after reporting all previous units as damaged on delivery. Nine weeks since reporting the last unit damaged and no email to say it’s not coming again today as previously advised. Awful customer service of what is essentially a good product

Like many people on here I would prefer to offer less stars but unfortunately cant.
My family and I have been to hell and back over the last 11 months whilst dealing with this company.
From what i can gather this business has a lack of management, a lack of systems, no quality procedures and ZERO accountability.
Long story short, we started the design process in July 2022 and delivery was due 1st week of December 2022 and we have only just received the final pieces of glass for an extension to our house. This means we were unable to progress our extension for 7 months becuase this company could not send the missing pieces. a very unhappy family!
I dont want go into deal becuase I am tired of talking about it, as will you if you use this company. They maybe competitive but please pay the extra!!!!
One point i do think is mentioning is that you will not be allowed to check your delivery until you have paid in full. they will not even unlock the van until you have paid....this should tell you all you need to know....they will have your money and will not return your calls and emails!!!

Absolutely terrible company to deal with. I have had so many incorrect products delivered and then it’s almost impossible to get any communication in order to correct the issues. I’ve currently got a door in order from the beginning of the year and each time they give me a delivery date, the day before that date they inform me the material is out of stock! How can you operate like that! I have no timeframe now for my order and this is the one of over 20 issues I’ve had. The service and communication is absolutely terrible.

Alufold are the worse company I have ever dealt with. Consistently late with delivery, nobody takes any responsibility.
Emails ignored, calls never returned, promises broken.
Sales will tell you anything to get your money, give it to someone else is my advice.

Recently we enquired an order for one of our customers that had become disabled in a horrific accident so getting the order right was a fair task and a little testing as the order needed to be specific
After discussing the order to review the relevant changes we were hounded to place the order so much so I had to pen an email to say when we were ready we would place it and not a moment before.
When we placed the order and our money was taken the doors turned up but with no glass and a faulty gasget
The glass turned up 4 weeks later with an incorrect panel and after several calls to the team still we are waiting almost 12 weeks later from order
Hollow promises and buck passing
We won’t be using them again after 15 years of being a happy customer
I have given them enough chances to rectify the issue but it seems they blame the glass company although it’s Alufold that we have employed to carry out the project
False and misleading information
False and misleading information on their website and within their Product Data Sheet. Extremely poor verging on illegal (false advertising?) information.

Do not use this company. One star is one too many.
We purchased windows and doors for a new classroom building, that we were providing as main contractor. The service that has been provided by this company has been nothing short of non existent. They provided the quotation very quickly, however, once they received our order it went straight downhill. The product is very sub standard. We are having issues with their doors and windows and we cannot get anybody from AluFold to the school to survey the problem, we have not got to the point of receiving their proposals for how they are going to rectify the issues. Their aftersales is the worst we have ever experienced.
We are now reviewing our legal options to enable the defects to be rectified.

Great Service and Price. A rare combination.
We needed patio doors, panoramic sliding doors, three entrance doors and twelve regular windows for a house and annex refurb. Alufold were really helpful in getting all the deliveries to us on time and whilst you had to be careful with fine details using the on-line ordering, delivered exactly what we asked for. They recommended Darren for the fitting and he could not have been more friendly and helpful. Did an absolutely great job.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I’ve paid for a door in full, up front. They’ve taken our money and run. The door was confirmed as 6 weeks lead time, it will now be 18 weeks this week, still no door. I have been lied to with reasons for the delays, “missing parts” first, “QC failed the powder coat” second, now “missing parts” as the third. And I’ve had to email and call constantly to even be able to get any kind of answer out of them. I haven’t even had the doors yet, I am expecting lots of problems with them when they are, and like the other reviews, I am also expecting the same kind of aftersales. If you are running an honest, respectable business…DO NOT USE ALUFOLD DIRECT, they will make you look incompetent, and you will lose further work as a result, just like I have!
Update as of 16th may 2023
Several parts missing from the delivery, showed me a photo of parts next to a box… the box didn’t include all of the items in the photograph, called and emailed to notify of the missing parts, their reply was “if it’s in the photo, it’s in the box”. Definitely not in the box. I have managed to get them to send out some parts that should have been delivered but weren’t, I’ve also had to ask them again for cover caps to gaping holes in the outer frame, which they are sending. But, the meeting stiles on the sliding doors are too tight, they don’t allow smooth meeting of the doors… which we have to forcefully push together for the locks to even work and engage. Machined cuts for the frame and cill joins were not cut square, leaving some unsightly gaps at the joins.
