Alufold are one of the worst material suppliers I’ve ever dealt with in the UK. Customer service is non-existent and they play very fast and loose with order fulfilment promises. Orders are confirmed for 4 weeks time, which becomes 6 weeks which becomes 9 weeks, and then the order is sent with parts missing. The whole operation is a shambles and there is very little responsibility taken for mistake after mistake. Don’t ever expect a call back from someone, you’ll just get emails saying the original delivery date was a mistake and it’s now X weeks delayed. If you’re serious about your build project and have clients who need work completed on time then this is NOT the company to use. They are utterly hopeless.

I’ve worked in the construction industry for 25 years. I have run my own successful construction business for the last 10 years. I can honestly say I have never dealt with a worse company than ALUFOLD DIRECT. Across three projects running concurrently they barely got anything right, the quality of assembly was a joke, bits missing, cills came the wrong size then the wrong colour, glass was the wrong size, they didn’t fit trickle vents when they were on the order confirmation then when sending a replacement add-on it arrived the wrong colour!! The list is too long to list…..be warned, they appear to be good value but trust me they cost me a fortune!!

Very grateful to be looked after so well by Monique at customer services when I was let down by my builder. Helpful, friendly, did what she said she would, even solved the delivery driver's problem with my address and kept me in touch until it was all sorted. Thank you Monique, you're a star !

Michelle in customer support is great, I spoke to her the other day about a faulty blinds unit I was supplied, before the end of the day she had me a replacement FOC and booked me in for their service engineer to change it over, all the way in Kent!! Thanks again Michelle

Responded immediately to emails. Followed up all queries appeared to be personally invested in helping us. Really wonderful especially as every single other company we have dealt with on our building project have been truly awful. Can't say enough good things. Thank you so much.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Michelle at Alufold Direct for an enquiry about aluminium bifold doors. The service I experienced was nothing short of exceptional.

Michelle was highly professional and knowledgeable throughout our interaction. She was very welcoming, helpful and patient with my queries. I was dealt with by Tammy Wisutsirikin for my order of aluminium bifolds. Tammy kept me informed throughout the order process and was very helpful. A credit to the company. Ordered on Friday 10th Feb and estimated delivery date is 20th Feb (unglazed)

OMG If I could select a Minus Star for this review I would. Total shambles of a business, give them a wide birth. Over a year and 2 incorrect and substandard Lanterns in and they ignore my communications.
Total waste of time DO NOT USE THEM.
I have today demanded my money back.

Still problems with an order that was originally due to us on 3rd November. It is now 18th January and we are still waiting for trickle-vents and locking mechanisms that have broken since installation. I have sent over 40 emails to Alufold about this order since the original delivery date was missed.
I won't be using them again and I would advise any other installer to stay well clear of them.

We are having nothing but trouble, with this company, ordered 2 sets bi-fold doors, the gaskets don’t fit correctly, sent out enough to fit 1 window instead of 6, and it wasn’t the correct gasket, sent out a second lot, still don’t fit, Cill ends missing, re sent out with out screws, now sending more out, it’s as if the glass is to small, this has caused us a lot of problems with our clients, maybe they should send someone out, instead of keep sending email and wrong stuff out

Alufold have caused our busisness serious loss of customer relations & serious money lost & I recently sent them an email from a disgruntled customer with holding payments from us who subsequently deducted £650 from us . I sent this hoping to receive some sort of response but same as when dealing with complaints of damaged goods , days lost due to failing to inform us that THEY had put deliveries back, & a complete lack of a professional curtesy in ever responding to anything. WE STILL HAVE outstanding issues with various jobs & aren't getting anywhere with our long term customers furious with us. ALUFOLD PLEASE contact Vicky to sort these issues out

Hi Alufold direct. I need some serious help with an order my company placed with you over six weeks ago. I am still waiting for items to be delivered. Nearly every item that has been supplied is wrong. I keep getting promised deliveries that then get cancelled at the last minute. This is costing me money and has trashed my reputation with a very important client!

I’m a builder with 35 years experience, this is by far the worse company I’ve every dealt with. Getting someone to answer the phone is an achievement. Still have windows with no trickle vents, not enough end caps, doors that open outwards and a garage full of cills left over. DONT USE !

The customer service and after sales are terrible I won’t be using again, I’m a builder who’s used this company a few times before and it always the same there’s always something missing. After a million phone calls and 3 months later you may get most of your order but never all of it, the worst thing is you’ve got to pay up front so you can’t hold anything back,I’ve learned my lesson now. Never again. Avoid at all costs,

I would like to thank Alufolddirect for the care and attention all the staff have given me throughout our purchase, from the sales team who explained everything I needed to know all the way through to the delivery which was on the day we agreed. The driver phoned when on his way with his time of arrival.
All in all it was a great experience from start to finish.

Had a good experience with Alufold. Visited the showroom to discuss some specific details with my bi-fold doors and lantern roof.
Found the staff approachable and understanding to my needs. They even offered some advice to save me some money. Not a standard practice.
Lead time was kept to, product was excellent. No issues since.
I will be a returning customer.
