Got in touch with AluFoldDirect based on a recommendation from a friend. I was in a tight spot after another company let me down, but these guys really helped me out with very short delivery times, sound advice and great service.
Would definitely use them again.

The service I received from the staff was excellent all the staff where very helpful from when I went to the office to the delivery of my products, although there was a small delay which does happen I was contacted by the lady from the planning department who told me exactly what the issue was and was very helpful even helping me getting my doors delivered first and the glass later I offered to pay for the extra delivery but she said as it was their delay this would not be charged. I would happily recommend this company to others friends and family

I would give 0 if I could.This company was a great place to work before new people moved in.These people are arrogant, smug bullies and allow bullying in the work place and brush it under the carpet and tell you you are being over emotional. I wouldn't call being threatened to be thrown through a window by a male colleague ' over emotional ' just because you have witnessed the same behaviour towards another colleague too and spoken up. Witnesses to this were too fearful to come forward for fear of reprisals. The sad thing is, they are sinking like the titanic and taking the few good people down with them. People don't count, it's all about money. Customers are fleeced.

Shocking service! Ordered all of our house windows (8), including a front door.

We took the advice of our builder as apparently this company were meant to be one of the best - I’m baffled by how this can be right considering the reviews. Wish we’d have done some research.

Timescale promised wasn’t adhered to. This wasn’t a big deal at the time. When the windows finally arrived a couple of didn’t fit the frames? Which seems to be common. Then waited on our door for a few more weeks, upon collection they struggled to locate the door. Once found, they sent it without the glass panel. The glass had to be sought elsewhere. The lock was also wrong, and we had to wait another week for an engineer to finally come and rectify the lock. All throughout this the company are difficult to deal with, they don’t stand by their timescales.

Currently, our windows have no vents installed! We have asked about this numerous times, with no response given. Eventually this week we were told an engineer will arrive this morning at 8am to sort… fortunately I didn’t hold my breath and what a surprise, nobody has arrived!

I have another family member who has also used this company from the same recommendation of builder, and they have still been waiting weeks for a response.

Please do not use this company, a renovation is already difficult enough without having this extra headache with a company who don’t care to put things right!! Do your research and believe the negative reviews!!

Shocking service Alufold - Especially to ‘Rodrey’ who didn’t even care to apologise when I highlighted my issues to him on the phone the other day.

Spend your money elsewhere people. There’s lots of businesses out there that will happily offer you a decent customer service, unlike these jokers.

Product overall good but missing items ordered

Have been waiting now for over a month, have emailed every day with no response. Have constantly called to be told will be called back and never are. We are not getting anywhere with this Company. Their customer service support is shocking. They are now costing us money as we cannot finish our job and get paid

I have had terrible service from Alufold. Incorrect products sent to me, no communication to rectify the issues and terrible mistakes made at each hurdle. There seems to be no one person in charge of anything and so everyone simply passes the issues along and they never get resolved. WORST COMPANY

From the very start with the visit to the factory and discussions around design AluFoldDirect have been superb! They kept us informed of manufacturing and delivery schedules and were very flexible when we requested to put back our dates due to our delays. Windows arrived this week - yes there were problems with two units but it was the hottest day ever recorded! Delivery notifications were received and the driver was amazing with his help and organization. After-sales service has been excellent as well. Would recommend and use them again!

these are probably the worst company i have ever used. their after sales dont exist. they will take your money one day and two weeks later your waiting for your delivery. then missing parts, 13 days later and endless emails your still waiting for your parts. the lantern is an embarrassment to a blind man for craftsmanship. the doors are passable if they had all the screws and seals with them .
please read and listen to the reviews as they are not lies!

Big thanks to Lee and the team at alufolddirect, great communication regarding my delivery, needed to change the address at the last minute spoke to Lee who advised this wouldn't be an issue,driver rang an hour before so we could have labour available, driver very helpful with the items. All in all good experience will use again.

i just want to say thank you to Lee and all at Alufold, for there exceptional service and working with me when i was put in a bit of a tricky situation regarding a order, they definitely went above and beyond to get it resolved, I really cant thank them enough

Everything wrong with the order! Frames incorrect size, missing glass panels . Terrible customer service . Refuse to acknowledge or accept responsibility and do not return phone calls . Avoid at all costs !

Still have not resolved issues !

We had an extension built and replaced some of our old windows. We specified Alufold's Slimline Aluminium Casenent windows for our build as our architect claimed to have used windows from this company before without issue. Our builders ordered 11 windows and one glass door.

The ordering process was a nightmare as the aluminium profiles that they offered us were different from the profiles on the images on their website, and they had various design rules about the sizes of opening casement windows which were unclear. This was already a red flag and we had wanted to switch to another company at this point, but we were well into the build and needed to get the house wartertight as soon as possible so that other work could continue. We stuck with alufold and made the required design changes.

The windows arrived, and the aluminium profiles were again of a different design to what was either on Alufold's website or the drawings we had been sent. We complained about the difference, but in the end decided to go ahead with fitting them so work could proceed. A substantial number of the double glazed panes (~5) had been cracked, and it looked as if they had been dropped on their corners. To be fair to Alufold they sent replacements for these without too much fuss, but a couple of months later.

However the window frames themselves are terrible. The main issue is that THE WINDOWS DON'T CLOSE. The opening casement windows dont meet the seal when closed on the hinged side. This is ridiculous, they do not do their core function, they let through a constant draft and noise (and on some of the windows we had specified sound-proof glass to reduce outside road noise). It is also incredibly frustrating that our builders fitted the windows without checking the quality.

The product is really terrible, the aluminium profiles that make up the frames have been cut roughly and inaccurately leaving gaps in places and burrs have not been removed (there has been no attempt to finish any of the edges after cutting). The aluminium profiles have been powder coated before being machined which, leaves ugly edges. Rubber seals barely fit in the grooves and have also been cut to length and fitted carelessly. Our builders struggled to fit the glass into the casements as the fit was far too tight, resulting in them scratching the glass as they attempted to shoe-horn it in. Some of the handles are stiff and difficult to operate.

But all of these cosmetic issues I might be able to live with, but now our house is now fitted with windows that don't close. The cost of the windows was huge, the cost of replacing them would be even more. It's a disaster.

Alufold demanded payment upfront from our builders, so leverage is limited. Our architect pursuaded them to send out a 'service engineer' to look at the windows and try to find a solution. We waited a month for the visit, I took half a day off work, then they cancelled the day before and pushed back the visit by another month (till the end of May), and refused to come any earlier. We are now waiting on this visit, and hopefully they show up this time, and can figure out how to repair the issue.

Sales Rep Nathan posted leaflet through our Letterbox, worse thing I ever did was to read it and order from them.

fitted new frame only to find out that one of the glasses didnt fit it had been made/ordered too small.
reported it to Alufold mid January 22, im still waiting for the replacement glass six weeks later !!

While im emailing & ringing their 'Customer Support Dept' on a regular basis (I use the term very loosing, as they havent supported this customer one bit) they think its still acceptable to still carry on sending me sales emails asking me do I want to order anything else with them !!
like im going to hand over more money to Alufold when they cant even fulfil an order which was placed with them over 3 months ago.

Avoid at all costs.

OMG, what a disaster. 60 phone calls to them 1 to us. A patio door, glazed door, 2 windows ordered in November. 2 windows delivers mid December with no cills!! Then a promise of a delivery in late January. “Oh I’ll go and check on dispatch and call you back”, really you never call back k. Paid up front, still waiting thss as thanks

Alufolddirect were a pleasure to deal with. I regularly order windows and doors for my company and my previous supplier started to slack with delivery times and prices. To my surprise Alufold were cheaper and their turnaround time was over half the time quicker than my previous supplier. Their in house team were extremely professional and helpful, They have gained a new customer and I would highly recommend

This is the worse company I dealt with in 34 years of business. All jobs missing items so we can’t fit the staff never answer the phone . Worse service
