Ordered French doors and windows for my loft conversion. Great service and great product. Above all probably the only company in U.K. with a lead time of 2 weeks , between confirmation of order and delivery it was only 2 weeks.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! 7 months later and still haven't received everything, faulty items, missing parts, incorrect panels, front door with no letterbox, 190 emails and phonecalls later and am considering court action.

Absolutely appalling experience with this shambles of a company.
They were quick enough to take my order but then it went rapidly downhill. One of their sales people had been hacked and sent out a very sophisticated phishing email which compromised my work systems - There was no apology, follow up or warning and I know this would have gone out to all of his customers because it did mine!
I was given a date for delivery of my order and 2 days before, having not heard from anyone in the company in weeks, I contacted them to confirm arrangements for the delivery only to be told there was a problem with my order and while the frame was in, the glass and blinds were not. Don't worry though, the frame can still be delivered... I advised I didn't want the frame without the glass and blinds and was told I would have to wait until the middle of September. Not a problem!
Come the middle of September, I receive an email advising I needed to pay an invoice i'd never received so my order can be delivered in 2 days - Slight problem with that being I was out of the country but through conversation, I was able to eventually find out the blinds were still not in the country so they were going to deliver my order with a big part of it missing and then retrospectively fit it once the blinds were in. They couldn't tell me when the blinds would be in either but still wanted the full amount. What tipped it over the edge and led me to cancel my order was I subsequently found out the reason my blinds weren't in the country was because they hadn't ordered them!
They had never mentioned that and it was only by chance I found out. At that point, I sent an email into the sales person copying in a manager advising I would be cancelling my order. It took three days for that to be acknowledged and in the meantime and through the following week, I received multiple calls from different people within the business either asking me to arrange delivery, pay or something else related to an order I had cancelled.

I would genuinely avoid AluFold at all costs - Their internal communications are shocking, customer communications almost non existent and I have very little faith they would fulfil an order!

AluFold Direct supplied a large order of sleek looking anthracite aluminium windows and doors, much quicker than any competitor could offer and also cheaper. The windows look amazing and are of a high quality. Darren (& Reece) at DBUPVC did a fantastic fitting job - I would highly recommend. They work very closely with AluFold to provide an excellent service. Thank you also to Chris who responded very quickly to help get the order altered and delivered on time. By the way this was during the pandemic supply crisis, where other suppliers couldn’t even take on orders. Very grateful to have everything in place to complete the build.

Absolutely appalling service. Unable to get an answer on the phone and eventually went through accounts instead. Was told different delivery dates which never happened, wrong item delivered, very vague answers with regard to replacement. Worse service I have ever experienced. Get your act together and at least answer incoming calls!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Placed a special order for a very large apex window. Super slow, lied to 5 times regarding delivery date, then admitted they forgot to order glass!
Took deliver eventually only to find frame wrong size, too narrow, too short and sash hinges wrong sides!
No apology, kept making more promises of a new window being delivered, to date still waiting.
They just do not care whether the customer is happy or not.
No regard for inconveniencing plasterers, painters etc waiting to finish the job. PLEASE DO NOT BUY.

Since 4th June my home has been open to the elements and totally insecure. Doors and windows turned up without glass and beading. One door had a white handle other door has a black handle on one side and no handle on outside so you can't get in. I've had to pay for window fitters who couldn't do any work as the correct items hadn't turned up. 44 phone calls and countless emails and I'm still waiting. They keep making promises but I now see they are lies. This company should come with a health warning

I moved into a new house with AluFold bifold doors already fitted, so was not actually a customer, then I stupidly broke the T bar handle on the doors by opening them with it in the horizontal position.

I emailed AluFold to enquire about ordering a replacement and within hours they had responded and dispatched a replacement free of charge. It arrived 3 days later and my doors are once again good as new.

A truly fantastic customer experience that I would not have even expected for a faulty handle, let alone one I broke myself.

As I say, I did not actually purchase the doors so cannot comment on this area, but if all after sales support is as good I experienced then you can't go wrong with AluFold.

I contacted several companies for a quote for French doors. Alufold came back almost immediately with what turned out to be the most competitive quote and the shortest lead time.

The unit was delivered a day late and without the glass but Alufold apologised and advised me in advance. The glass was ordered and delivered a few days later. No one is perfect and I was very happy with Alufold’s communication and corrective action.

I never actually complained to Alufold as I was happy with the way that they handled my order. However, Alufold then unilaterally offered me a credit against my final account payment which I did not ask for and which they did not have to do.

This is an excellent example of going the extra mile and one that I appreciated, not so much for the financial aspect but for the customer care aspect.

All the staff at Alufold, including the delivery drivers, have been a pleasure to deal with and I would have no hesitation in recommending them and will be ordering from them again as work progresses.

An AluFoldDirect driver drove into the side of my vehicle today. The driver, John S, did the right thing by stopping to apologise and then gave me all the relevant information that I requested. This is exactly what you’d expect from anyone in this type of situation to do. John clearly has integrity.

I then called AluFoldDirect and was told to speak to their despatch manager. He couldn’t have been less interested and made it very clear to me that they never accept liability for any accident, even if they are responsible. Unfortunately, AluFoldDirect has zero integrity and I ask anyone who considers supporting this company, to question whether they feel comfortable supporting a business with zero integrity.

We ordered 2 Bifolds and a 4.2m window for a large Dormer. We had used Alufold 6 years ago in our last house for a Bifold and had been very happy with it. The Bifolds came first, on time, were fitted and work great. The window arrived next again on time, and was fitted. We then had a leek and after investigation discovered the Cill had not been machined with the drain in and out holes. They sent us a new cill which once fitted solved the problem and then picked up the cost of replacing it. We understand that problems happen but it's the way it's sorted out that counts and I have to say they did a good job. Would use them again and recomend them to anybody.

An exceptional company and a pleasure to do business with. Alufold Direct, definitely tick all the boxes when it comes to price, quality and efficiency. Their staff are knowledgeable, friendly and always helpful. Big thanks to Louis and Lisa in particular you are amazing with a great can-do spirit.
