!!!! SHOCKING BAD AFTER SALES WARRANTY !!!!

After seeing the loungers in various communal cinema rooms which we service in high end apartment blooks, loved the loungers and bought a pair for home.
!!!!!! AFTER 5 MONTHS !!!!!!!
The wear on the Fabric and the amount of furring was ridiculous. I took some video of my loungers and also of some loungers which were 8 yrs old with heavy usage. which looked like new still.
My loungers looked a mess.
when i sent the videos to Ambient lounge. they dismissed it as wear. what after 5 months....
SO
if you want a nice product but when it fails they take no responsibility for or off you any warranty.

If I could put a minus star I would I bought one of their medium sized dog beds which they advised was the correct size for my cockapoo however the bed was too small cost me £169 and came in a ripped plastic bag not vacuumed packed like advertised and after a lot of emails they finally took it back but it cost me £40 to return I then tried to order a large bed through Amazon and paid for it but Laarni Otero decided to cancel my order and tried to blame Amazon’s website which I found out had nothing to do with Amazon at all and it was in fact this so called manager who decided to cancel my order because I returned a previous order. Terrible customer service from this woman who said she was the manager and in charge as I asked to speak to someone else. Obviously this company doesn’t have good customer service and not that fussed to lose a £229 sale would never recommend them to anyone after their numerous lies extremely bad customer service avoid them at all cost as if you buy something you will struggle to return it and get your money back without a fight.

Happy customers

with the help of Nikki we managed to order from Ambient Lounge for the fourth time, we have now for 10th years been happy customers with both a dog basket, teenage lounge chairs and now a lovely sofa on the terrace

Not what is advertised

Delivery was quick and productive tuned up as expected......until I opened up to take a look.

Dont bother with the solux foam, the extra £100 is not worth it...the foam pices are a faction of the size that is advertised and makes zero difference to quality and comfort.

After doing lots of research I Brought…

After doing lots of research I Brought a large rebound foam dog bed. It’s very disappointing as the foam is very hard there is no rebound or softness. My dog has been in it twice for about 5 min then gets out like it just isn’t comfortable to stay in . If you dog likes a nice soft bed I wound not consider this . It was a waste of over £200 pound.

Do not buy anything from this company

I have two sunlounger bean bags.
Last year one of them split. I contacted customer services with a request to have the sunlounger replaced. I received an arrogant email which fobbed me off. Not even an apology. So arrogant!
This year, the same sunlounger split again. The first time it was used!! Clearly the material is faulty!!
Do not buy anything from this company. They are overpriced and poor quality.

Upon checking your order history, we can confirm that your purchase was made back in 2022. Please note that all our products are crafted from high-quality, durable fabrics, but like any furniture, they do require gentle handling and proper care to maintain their longevity.

From your message, it seems the item may not have been used for quite some time. In such cases, damage can occur depending on how and where the product has been stored. As with many household items, long-term storage without use can potentially affect the condition, especially if environmental factors or pressure points on the fabric are involved.

Typically, any manufacturing faults would become apparent shortly after purchase, not several years later.

I wouldn't waste your money

I wouldn't waste your money. Very expensive for a bean bag and there was a few flaws that they said you could just cut the thread but one of them you couldn't. Yes they offered a replacement or offered £28 back but still you pay £280 for a beanbag you expect it to be perfection

Waste of Money - Butterfly sofa

I'd stay away and not waste your money. I can only comment on the product I brought my daughter. Very expensive for a beanbag armchair that flattens are 2 week of use even with the Soflux upgrade and Splitting at the seams.

I would have kept it but Laarni who I was dealing with couldn't accept responsibility that their product the company sold was defected product or not filled properly. An armchair that flattens after regular use. I'd expect that after 6months of use not 2 WEEKS come on, be real!!!. I understand it's an beanbag armchair but with upgraded soluxe Foam filling mix not just air polystyrene beads that compresses.

Splitting at the seams Response from AL (it's not a defect but rather a characteristic of this material as a gesture of good will a free bag of filling due inadequate filling from the factory and a 40% discount.

Refused a full refund within 14 days as mentioned on their website and wouldn't accept this under the consumers rights act 2015.

Luckily I brought this through PayPal who was able to process a full refund. However, I've had to fork out £62.00 of my own money to cover the cost for the return as they refused to acknowledge my request for a prepaid return lable for their defected product. Ignored my email only to reply when the returns address they provided paypal was wrong and asked me to send it elsewhere. The cheek of it!! Disgusting and shocking.

Ambient Lounge say what you will. You con people to forking out their hard earned money to sit on the floor.

I'm in the furniture business myself and this is one experience I've never come across. Money hungry theives who doesn't deserve your custom.

This is why we offered to send you a free top-up bag to restore its shape and quality. The Butterfly Sofa you received is not faulty; it simply requires additional filling.

Based on the photo you provided, the bean filling is not completely flat as described in your review. Our bean bags are designed with an Internal Elastic Ambi-Spring™ system for structured support, ensuring they do not flatten easily. However, as bean bags are filled with polystyrene beads with a mix of crushed foam (SoLuxe), this material compresses over time with regular use, which is a natural characteristic.

Regarding the seam issue, we cannot be held responsible for wear and tear caused after use, as your item was shipped prefilled and in good condition. Any factory defect would typically be visible within days of receiving the product.

These beds are a game changer

These beds are a game changer. I had their older beds but the new rebound beds are that good that my dogs won’t lay on their other beds anymore so I had to go get another one. I have Great Danes and support is so important for their bodies. Laying on them myself I realize why they love them. Money very well spent

The only indestructible dog bed !

I bought two beds for my dogs. It is the best product I have ever had for them. It is indestructible ! The products are amazing. My dog is allergic to polyester so I bought the organic cotton cover. It is perfect and the quality is incredible. The delivery was very quick and customer service is perfect !

Once I filled it properly

Once I filled it properly - The Butterfly Sofa is the absolute best. I have it in my home office— and sometimes drag it into the living room ! My kids love it too and keep sneaking in to use it - which is distracting but cute.

Disappointing Product and Unhelpful Customer Service

Summary: The "luxury" dog bed arrived with a strong chemical smell. After following the care instructions and washed the bed cover in a cold, gentle cycle, black dirt came out of it and smudged all over the cover. Customer service was unhelpful and said I should've hand-scrubbed instead, even though it is advertised as a machine-washable dog bed on their website. The product didn’t meet its claims, and the lack of accountability was frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this brand.

I purchased a dog bed from this company, expecting a high-quality product, but I was extremely disappointed. First, the bed arrived with a strong chemical smell, which was off-putting and concerning. For a brand that claims to offer "luxury" products, the quality simply doesn't match up.

The care instructions on their website clearly state that the bed cover is machine washable on a cold cycle, which was one of the main reasons I purchased it — for the convenience of easy cleaning. However, when I followed these instructions, black dirt came out of the cover, leaving smudges on the fabric. When I contacted customer service, I was told that machine washing was not advisable, and that I should have hosed down and hand-scrubbed the cover instead — this advice was inconsistent with the information provided on their website.

The company claims the bed is durable and chew-resistant, but it couldn’t even withstand a gentle machine wash without issues. I was told the dirt might have come from the label, but either way, this doesn't match their claims of quality.

The e-commerce manager I spoke to, Laarni Otero, was of no help and offered no accountability for the poor quality of the product or the misleading care instructions. I was simply blamed for washing the cover, even though their website clearly states it’s machine washable. It felt like the company was more concerned with upholding their return policy than addressing my concerns or offering a satisfactory solution.

Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase. The product didn’t live up to the luxury claims, and the customer service only added to my frustration. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking a durable, high-quality, or easy-to-clean pet bed.

Communications

I have no issue with purchases I have made from Ambient Lounge.
However, private messages sent from their social media account are quite disturbing. Message was sent through to the head office but no acknowledgement and no apology was received.
Be very careful of any communication with this company.

No money back guarantee, dog won’t use the bed.

Whilst the product does appear to be sturdy, it’s unfortunate they don’t offer a money back guarantee or something similar. I bought this dog bed after extensive research and many good reviews, I thought this was the one. The dog won’t even go near it, we required an XXL as we have big boy, we’ve tried for a few weeks now and nothing, he just won’t use it. I’m now £243 down the drain, which is rather disappointing.
