Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 203 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers were dissatisfied with the products, finding them to be of poor quality, cheap, and not matching the descriptions or images on the website. People frequently noted that items were flimsy, made of plastic, or arrived tarnished and broken, contrary to the advertised quality. Reviewers also felt misled by the website's portrayal of the company as a family concern, suggesting products were mass-produced in China rather than handmade. Customers found the prices to be inflated for the low quality received, and many struggled to obtain full refunds, often being offered only partial amounts or facing difficult return processes to China. However, some people were satisfied with their purchases, stating that the earrings were beautiful, looked exactly like the photos, and were well-made for the price.

Don’t get caught as I did

I have had the same experience as everyone. This company is a total sham and I would strongly advise against ordering anything. The quality is nothing like the photograph. The only way around these scams is to check returns policy before you buy. Returns to China and not covering shipping costs. Do not buy anything. Go beyond the clever marketing. X

Do not buy from this company

Earrings not as described on website. Cheap and flimsy plastic.
Requested refund and was offered 40% discount on another purchase. Rejected this and have now been offered 'up to 20%' refund. Have also rejected this. Advised I can return items at my expense to their warehouse in Asia. Finally got 30% refund and threw products away.
WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. CLEARLY BASED IN CHINA. POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS, OVERPRICED RUBBISH.

“ Please be careful before you order…

“ Please be careful before you order from this website. The products are beautifully photographed, look fabulous and (just about) worth the money paid. I bought two pairs of earrings and was willing to pay, what was for me, a lot of money for what I thought was something special. The earrings were so sub- standard I was astonished. One pair were mounted in a a cheap, fake silver setting. The stones were cheap plastic and they didn’t even sit centrally in their position. They were £20 a pair, and, as I established, sent from China. I requested a refund (under Distance Selling Regulations) I have been blocked from getting a refund by the company with every possible excuse on their part. They would not provide a return address so I returned them to the sender’s address which I had luckily kept. They wanted me to return them to China but the sender’s address was in Cannock UK. Everything about this seller is not meeting good modern trading standards. Do not buy any products from them. If you want advice on your experience, I am happy to talk to you.”

The marketing is completely misleading

The marketing is completely misleading. It shows a shop front and woman/child (Amelia and Arthur - by implication) that suggests a quality jewellers. The earrings I received were of the worst quality I’ve ever seen - and broke immediately. I am seeking a full refund which they make as difficult as possible. Do not buy their products.

Warning

Warning
This company's 30 day money back gaurantee is not genuine. They say they are based in London UK and the item was delivered from a UK address but returns are to China. You have to cover the cost of postage to China including extra for tracked as they say items could be lost or they give you a 30% refund without returning the item.

Would not purchase again

Advertised as a UK despatch and yet it wasn't and when I queried it was finally told there was not enough stock in the UK but this was not communicated to me at. The product itself was very poor quality and barely resembled the advertisement. Will not purchase from them again.

Absolute scam of a company.

Absolute scam of a company.
I made an order of 3 items.
Tge earrings they sent me arrived broken of which I have photos of.
The two red bags they sent me which I ordered in my usual size are massive on me and therefore unwearable. They are refusing g to give me a full refund and will only offer a 20% partial refund! This goes against the rules and regulations set by the UK government! This company is based in China which they do not make clear on their website, at the bottom of their customer services page it states London so I thought if I had any problems I could just return them.
If I would have known they were in China I would never have ordered from them.
I have to wait 15 days before I can do a chargeback with my bank and that is exactly what I am going to do.
Steer clear of this company their products are nothing like what they portray!

Scam company.

Where to start. Their website is beautiful and you actually feel like your ordering a beautiful pair of earrings. I was lead to believe they was based in the UK thats why I ordered them, with 2 more pair of earrings in my basket. After 2 weeks they finally arrived. Wow! They are fantastically awful. They are mass produced tat from China, worth all of £1 if that. Don't waste your money, time and energy with this con company.

Avoid!

Like every other review here I bought what was described as hand made silver jewelry, made in England. Mass-produced cheap, nasty rubbish arrived. I asked for a refund, as described on their website. Eventually, 6 emails later I have a return address. It will cost £13 to return on top of the £40 already spent on nasty earrings. Will I receive a refund, who knows?! But I have reported the business as fraud and requested charge back via my bank. I left bad feedback via Facebook and the company blocked me, which means I can't report the Facebook page either. Maybe if enough people report them something may change. DO NOT BUY from them!

Cheap rubbish

Cheap rubbish. This firm is pretending to be a family concern and send you chinese tat in a nice jewellery box. They have the cheek to send a compliments card portraying Amelia (mother) being hugged by Arthur (son), which says “from our little family to yours”. Very clever marketing and mis selling. Beware buying from facebook recommendations
