Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 203 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers were dissatisfied with the products, finding them to be of poor quality, cheap, and not matching the descriptions or images on the website. People frequently noted that items were flimsy, made of plastic, or arrived tarnished and broken, contrary to the advertised quality. Reviewers also felt misled by the website's portrayal of the company as a family concern, suggesting products were mass-produced in China rather than handmade. Customers found the prices to be inflated for the low quality received, and many struggled to obtain full refunds, often being offered only partial amounts or facing difficult return processes to China. However, some people were satisfied with their purchases, stating that the earrings were beautiful, looked exactly like the photos, and were well-made for the price.

BEWARE BUYERS….

BEWARE BUYERS….. The items are cheap imitations I ordered three items, one was supposed to have semi precious stones, all were supposed to be sterling silver. Not based in London as website stated, ignoring my emails asking for a refund, had the cheek to send emails offering further discounts! Avoid don’t lose money like I unfortunately have.

Avoid at all costs!

Don't be fooled by the sugary sweet image of mother & son combo and their dubious story.
What you see on their carefully crafted website is not what eventually lands on your doorstep from China not London as you may have deduced from their welcome page. The goods are an imitation of the real thing, which can only be described as cheap tat. When you try to return their freudulant products you are first offered discounts and vouchers for their shop. Full refund is only offered if you're prepared to send them all the way to China at which point you give up.
Do yourself a favour and give it the widest of berths!!!

Do not buy from this Chinese retailer

Awful customer service (using AI to respond) goods didn’t arrive for months so I requested a refund, they wouldn’t engage at all, just fobbed me off every time for three months. The goods arrived today and are from China. They are not vintage sterling silver earrings but cheap metal from China. I spent £20 and got 10ps worth of of terrible goods.

Broken on arrival, offered only 25% refund

The pair of earrings I ordered were so poorly made that the hoop from one of them had never been attached properly, and was detached when they arrived. I emailed to complain and was offered a money-off voucher; then a 25% refund; then a suggestion that I pay the postage to return the earrings to China. Under UK law I have the right to a full refund within 30 days if goods are faulty. I said no, and that I would report them to Trading Standards, which I will now do, and we should all do.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. The earrings I received don't look the same as advertised online and appear cheap and tacky. Like others I feel I have been duped from the nice Facebook ads and annoyed at myself for not checking this site before ordering. Would not recommend.

It’s a scam, do not buy from this company

It’s a scam, total waste of money. Portrays company of a homely company in London whereas it’s from Asia. Guaranteed 30 days money back, this has not happened, I contacted them and they say i can keep the earrings if I agree to buy more with 30%off my next purchase! The earrings are tacky, metal very sharp and absolutely nothing like the photos on their website.

Poor quality.

Took a long time to be delivered. I started getting suspicious. Very disappointed with the product. Not great quality. Earrings too thick and rough to put in my ears. Complete waste of money. Don’t buy from this company.

Read the reviews before falling for a Facebook Ad

I ordered 2 pairs after seeing a summer sale on a Facebook ad. Whilst one pair is just ok, the other pair is impossible to fasten. Normally I check reviews before ordering but I didn’t on this occasion. I’m cross with myself for getting duped 😡

Lesson learnt

I only wish I’d read the reviews. I concur with everyone’s remarks. I had at least four emails telling me they were on the way. Unfortunately I couldn’t even get them on the fastener was so DIFFICULT to open let alone close! I too have received an offer which I’ve rejected. Having now read the reviews I’m not hopeful of being able to return them! Lesson learnt! I’ve reported to my Credit Card company.

FABULOUS MULTI COLOURED STONE EARRINGS

I was absolutely thrilled with my coloured stone and silver earrings from Amelia. They are far better than the photo on the website, and the colour range, means that they will go with all outfits. My new favourite earrings!! The silver hook and fitting is unique and I could feel the love that has gone into the making.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I can only compound what everyone else is saying about this company and the product, just wish I’d looked on here first!
Earrings took ages to arrive and what I thought was a local company was in fact a Chinese one. Returns are almost impossible unless you want to pay returned, tracked postage to China
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Scam

Tat, complete marketing lies about the product, what you get is nothing like the photographs. Looks like a nice UK independent turns out When you try to return it’s a Chinese seller with all kinds of demands for return including lying on the customs form.
Deliberately difficult, offers every which way not to refund you and makes it virtually impossible to do.

REPORTED TO META

TOTAL SCAM - AVOID

Absolutely cheap and tatty goods…

Absolutely cheap and tatty goods arrived nothing like the photos. Had 4 goes to try and sort a refund but they kept offering partial discount off a new order instead. No idea these were in china. They are now telling me to add a very low value to the return as if held up by customs they won’t t accept them!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Terrible experience, trashy product, rubbish delivery

Ridiculously long delivery period, non returned email enquiries...and that's just for starters! The website portrays quality product (the actual product is cheap and tacky) the website is misleading....suggesting "homemade design", touching photo allegedly of Amelia and her son (is it really?) photo of an exclusive looking jewellery shop. The reality is that the product is sourced and sent direct from China incurring extensive air miles. This company is misleading, frugal with the truth and offers poor quality product. AVOID at all costs and buy local!

Hilariously BAD! These are the worst earrings I've ever bought - nothing like the picture in their advert. The whole thing is a sad scam. I highly recommend you avoid like the plague.

Very slow arrival of earrings

Very slow arrival of earrings. While they are quite nice and look vaguely like the pictures, they are cheap and look like something you might get for a fiver elsewhere. I can't be bothered to return them but I would advise caution in buying from this company. Don't be fooled by the cutesy picture of a mother and son, I suspect this is a Chinese importing business.
