I placed an order and the pictures showed a different book than what was ordered. The book i ordered was one word different and it is very easily overlooked especially when they put the wrong book in the diagram. I immediately noticed it after ordering and called and emailed them trying to cancel the order, never reaching anyone. 2 days have passed with no reply. Very unprofessional and I will never buy from them again.

I ordered a book from them as a first time customer and the book arrived in the promised condition shortly after ordering. So why did I give them only 2 stars? I spent much time and effort to find this book online from an independent book seller because I no longer wish to support Amazon. I ordered from American Book Warehouse and guess where it came from? Amazon. They portray themselves dishonesty and I won't buy from them again. I'll keep searching for an independent book seller who isn't a front for Amazon.

I ordered a set a books from American Book Warehouse that I had been searching for as it was a series from when I was younger. A lot of older books are harder to find and can cost an arm and a leg, or in a condition that is less than desirable. Not only was the cost of my set less than everywhere else, the books were in perfect condition and they arrived quickly too. I am working on collecting enough books to be considered a library and I know I will be using American Book Warehouse to collect many more. I highly recommend this company if you are a book dragon like me, you will be as excited as I was for my books to arrive. I am sure you will you continue to use them to build your collection too.

I had a great experience with American Book Warehouse! Their customer service was incredibly helpful and responsive when I reached out about a book that was out of stock. To make up for it, they even shipped me a free book as compensation, which was a really nice and unexpected gesture. The overall process was smooth, and their team was friendly and professional. I truly appreciate their dedication to customer satisfaction. Will definitely be shopping with them again!

I ordered a book on January 12. It is now February 15 and no book. I emailed the company several times and have received one response telling me that the warehouse is having delays. Not one person has responded to my subsequent emails after the second promised shipment date. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Do not recommend buying from this company. I ordered a book and received an email saying that it had been shipped, but there was not tracking number. I waited a couple extra days from the time it was expected to be delivered before contacting them. It takes two to three days for them to answer emails and when I called it went straight to a voicemail. A few days after I first contacted them they informed me that they did not even have the book that I ordered in their wearhouse and nothing was ever shipped. I requested a full refund since I had to buy this book elsewhere at this point. A few days later they said they were processing my refund. The refund showed up but then disappeared from my account. I even contacted my bank which told me the refund was cancelled. I have contacted them again and am still waiting to see if they will give me my refund. This has been totally unacceptable service.
Update, I did finally receive my refund. However, I was very disappointed in the overall service and will not be ordering from them again.

Honestly, I thought it was a scam, but I finally received my book. However, I was unable to track my package. The book is in very good condition, and it took 6 days to arrive.

Ordered a book where this specific cover is not out of print. It was listed for around $30. Never received book, sent two emails and got no response. Checked the website and saw that isn’t still listed but now it’s for $400.

Book arrived quickly & in perfect condition. I would purchase from A.B.W. again! Thank you!

I had an issue with the copy of the book that was sent to me. The customer service department was quick and courteous. They offered me several options and mailed out a new copy ASAP. I’m happy with the final result!

I am a first time customer to ABW. They had a semi-rare book I've been looking for, and placed my order straight away. After a week I hadn't received my tracking email, so I emailed them to request it. Turns out, it was out of stock after all. ABW kept in communication with me from start to finish and in a very timely manner. I was offered a full refund (with a discount for a next purchase) and a sincere apology along with the option for them to source the book for me. I chose to wait and see if they would be able to still get me the book. It didn't take long, maybe a few weeks, to get the news they found my book and it was on its way with a tracking number. I did receive my book around Christmas which made it almost magical! Again, communication was consistent throughout this entire process. I never felt like I was being ignored, irrelevant or bothersome. I was treated with respect, importance and offered options. I am very impressed with the level of customer service I received, and how professional and genuinely a heart-warming human experience I was provided over the internet.
I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND AMERICAN BOOK WAREHOUSE FOR YOUR BOOK PURCHASES!! I am a very happy customer and look forward to continuing doing business with them again!

The used book I ordered arrived on time and in great condition. I didn't recieve a tracking number; however, upon emailing customer support I was updated quickly. They then reached out to follow up verifying I had recieved my item.

This is a scammer, I’m afraid. Took my money but book was never sent.

I will update this review if I the book ever arrives.

Ordered a book, paid extra for faster shipping, took over a month to arrive, was ignored multiple times when I asked to send it back as the date when I needed it had passed.

Excellent Customer Service!!! They went the distance to ensure that I received a book that met my

Okay, so I needed a textbook for class. As most of us know, textbooks are NOT cheap :/ But, I was able to purchase my textbook from the American Book Warehouse for only a fraction of the price my school's textbook store was selling them for! Not only did I save roughly $200, I got my textbook in GREAT condition! I spoke with the Support team, and they answered all of my question clearly and in a timely manner. What's more, they were genuinely concerned with my concerns! I would recommend this site to everyone who needs good quality books for a low cost :) Happy Shopping
