After months of not finding what I was looking for I came across Ami and so glad I did!

From our first meeting and the beautiful outfits in her studio I knew she would create exactly what I was looking for! Ami took the time to go through the whole process with me in detail and made sure to capture everything I wanted including the perfect shade of red.

I truly had to trust the process and so glad I did! Ami communicated with me and kept me up to date at each stage of the process, from the initial sketch all the way to the final fitting.

I cannot recommend Ami enough, her attention to detail is unmatched and I’m so grateful to have had her design and create my bridal lengha and also design my husband’s stall to match my chundri too!

Working with Ami was a dream! Despite the fact that I’m based in Brighton and she’s in Harrow, we made it work - Ami made the process feel easy. From the beginning, she took time to understand my vision, even while I was still figuring it out myself! Her patience and calm was appreciated, especially when flash floods almost delayed the arrival of mums outfit! At such a hectic time, knowing I had this part covered was such a relief.

I had a clear idea of the designs I wanted, blending traditional elements with a contemporary twist to reflect my personality. Ami took my scattered ideas and turned them into something magical. The bridal lehenga she designed for me was stunning, and the evening reception outfit was fresh, funky and glamorous. My mums outfit also fit like a glove, she was glowing!

Ami’s attention to detail is impressive - the intricate embroidery to the way the fabric flowed -was perfection.
She constantly kept me in the loop, guiding me on what would work and what might not, which was invaluable. Her expertise and eye for detail meant that I ended up with outfits that were not only gorgeous but also comfortable and true to my vision.

The final outfits were breathtaking. I felt like the best version of myself on my big day, and I have Ami to thank for that. If you want something truly magical for your special day, I can’t recommend Ami enough. She’s a true artist, and I’m so grateful for her part in making my wedding unforgettable!

Ami did a phenomenal job with putting together my look and overall wedding outfit! She was attentive and considerate throughout the entire process. I would recommend to anyone looking for themselves! Loved everything and thank you again for all that you did!

There are no words to describe how amazing Ami is - she went above and beyond in every aspect to make our outfits for the big day truly spectacular.

We organised our wedding at massively short notice and she was still able to provide 2 fully bespoke bridal outfits as well as one for the groom!

Her work, vision and service is incredible. The craftsmanship and detailing on all our outfits was impeccable and we received so many compliments on the day. She's also so lovely and kind and made each appointment a pleasure to attend.

Would 100pc recommend her for any bride or groom looking to stun on their wedding day!!

Oh my god, where do I start? Ami genuinely exceeded my expectations with my outfit! 😍

From the initial meeting when I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to wear, to sending Ami 30 pictures of different outfits I couldn’t choose from! Ami absolutely smashed the design of my outfit. She gave me a split choice when my panel was created so I could see different options and finalise what I want.

As soon as I met Ami I just knew I could trust her opinion. She’s so lovely, genuine and happy every time we spoke ☺️

I cannot wait to buy more outfits in the future as her collection is just STUNNING!

Thank you Ami, not only was the outfit so beautifully made, but I’ve never felt so confident and comfortable in an Indian outfit and what a day to feel amazing! 💛

What can I say? The flights back and forth from Scotland were worth every penny! Looking for a bridal lenga can be draining because you want it to be a showstopper, you want it to be unique, you want it to be comfortable, you want it to speak to you. I felt as if every outfit I tried on, something was missing. I was anxious and excited for my consultation with Ami as I’m someone who finds it hard to visualise an outfit, and I thought creating an outfit would be super difficult.

However, Ami just made everything so easy, her passion and genuine excitement towards her work and her caring matter towards her clients is amazing. Just seeing her folders of every sample piece she’s designed for her clients is inspiring. She is super talented, and she absolutely nailed the assignment! We created my dream outfit which made me feel like a princess. She exceeded my expectations and more. I has a stunning bridal outfit which was a dream to wear. It was catered to me in every way. The beauty of it is that I have an outfit for life that I can re-wear in so any different ways.

She also designed my husband a stunning sherwani and bespoke tux with a blazer that is so unique and absolutely stunning. She made our outfits blend so well, we were shocked when we seen each other on the wedding day and kept complimenting each other. My husband literally felt a million dollars. I am so glad I challenged her to making his outfit and in turn creating such a a high quality unique outfit for him.

Ami made the perfect wedding & mendhi outfits for my husband and I. She simplified the process and drew some stunning sketches of what we could expect. Out outfits where exactly what we had envisioned and fit like a glove.

We also requested an antarpat made unfortunately due to COVID delays, this was not made in time.

As a whole i would highly recommend as even during the most disruptive time, Ami made it as seamless as possible.

Amazing modern designs! Ami understood the brief, she knew I wanted something indo- western and worked with me to design the outfit. She gave me her advice about what to/ to not go for and in the end the outfit made was exactly what I wanted. She understood how the outfit needed to flatter me and how it should fit!
Her outfits are on the pricier side, however, they are fully bespoke and you are paying for her personalised service.

I would say don't leave the outfit too late as there was a couple of issues with timings due to a busy wedding season.

Getting my dress from Ami was the best decision I made and the best experience! After an overwhelming few weekends at southall and Wembley coming to amis place was a breath of fresh air. She was so so lovely and as soon as I walked in I fell in love with my wedding dress! I also go a bespoke customised outfit for my reception and mendhi and Ami went above and beyond, and both outfits turned out even nicer than I thought! Seeing her sketch and talk through ideas, seeing process pictures to the cotton fitting to the dress fitting was incredible. My sister got some outfits from her to and I’ll honestly miss my visits to her studio! Everyone said I looked like a movie star and I felt like one too!

Would highly recommend and wish I could do it all over again so I could a heap out outfits from her again!

Wow, where do I even start?! Ami is a true master of her craft and from our very first meeting I knew that I had to have her vision as a part of our wedding. When I came to Ami, I’d been searching for “the one” for months, and was pulling my hair out because nothing resonated with my style. Everything was too glitzy, too heavy, and just not me. As soon as I met Ami and described in very vague detail what I was after, she instantly sketched out a design which started off an incredible journey to creating the most perfect and beautiful item of clothing I have ever worn. I put a lot of trust in Ami, and didn’t see my outfit until a few weeks before the wedding- but she didn’t disappoint. Everything about it was magical, and the amount of work that went into creating it was astonishing. I cannot thank you enough Ami, and your team of artisans, for making me feel like an absolute queen on my wedding day. You are the best in the game!

Personalised, excellent touch
Honestly, if you want a personalised outfit tailor made to your wants and needs, Ami is the person for you! She was extremely professional and had a wealth of knowledge which made the experience of buying my dream wedding lehenga so smooth and easy. Ami created the most stunning bridal outfit- one that I still fall in love with every time I see it. She was able to take my vision and implement it down to every little detail. I am indebted to Ami and her team - thank you so much! 🤍

I got in touch with Ami over a year before my wedding date. After looking around for bridal lehengas I was disappointed because I couldn't find anything that felt like 'me'. Traditional red wasn't my vibe and anything that looked less traditional was often very sparkly or didn't feel very bridal. I came to Ami with less than a clear idea of what I wanted and she was still able to read between the lines, get a sense of my vibe and personality, understood how much I wanted it to look good in this particular wedding venue and was able to sketch out not 1 but 2 design ideas to help me make my decision. After that the process was pretty smooth and communication was really good. Over the next few months I was able to really pinpoint what I wanted, Ami was very receptive to feedback on swatches and the changes made were in line with what I wanted. From a personal point of view, when you're in such a stressful and busy period of you life as wedding planning, you want to work with someone as personable and professional as Ami is - I always looked forward to coming to our appointments because of her nature as well as of course my outfit.
It doesn't even end there because we ended up asking Ami to create a matching outfit for my husband which perfectly encapsulated his style and personality and matched my lehenga.
I'd recommend Ami for any and all design needs.

After consultations with a few designers I was struggling to find one that could bring my vision to life and thought I'd have to let my dream dress go. That's when I got introduced to Ami. From the moment we met she was a dream to work with and was completely on board with bringing my vision to life. The attention to detail in her design, her knowledge and experience and her positive, collaborative attitude made the whole experience so much fun! Ami gave updates on fabrics, colours and patterns and sent photos so I could stay informed on the progress of my wedding and reception outfits. When I got the outfits Ami even showed me the different ways I could wear them which was super helpful! Dresses were great quality, well fitted and a joy to wear on my wedding day. I got so many compliments, felt like a queen and my husband loved them!

Finding Ami was honestly a dream come true in my wedding planning! She is such a talented designer and so fantastic to work with. Her years of experience and passion all come through in her work - if I could I'd buy everything in her showroom, it's all incredible! I started working with Ami around a year before my wedding and together we designed a lehenga with two different dupattas that could be mix and matched for me to wear across three different events - our Hindu ceremony, Catholic ceremony and our Reception. It was a really tricky brief but working with Ami gave me so much confidence and I'm so so happy with how everything turned out. At calls, appointments and fittings, Ami was always really easy to talk to and calmly reassured me throughout a stressful time, always happy to take on my feedback and ideas even if I was being super nit picky! Ami really took time to get to know and understand me from the start and the result was a stunning modern outfit that just felt so me!! My outfits made me feel really confident and beautiful so a huge thank you Ami, for helping make my vision into a reality. I couldn't recommend Ami highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to work with her again.

Ami was the only designer I saw that really understood me as a person and what I wanted from my Indian outfit. I went into the appointment with something very traditional in mind, but after seeing her stunning and modern designs, my vision totally changed! She is approachable, kind and helpful, and makes you feel as though you are with a friend.

She created the most stunning outfit for my wedding day and I had a huge amount of compliments and enquiries about my outfit on the day (and since!). She also created a bespoke outfit for the groom which matched perfectly with my outfit.

I had a very specific vision in mind for my wedding reception outfit. After visiting a number of Indian and English bridal shops and not finding what I was looking for off the rack, my only option was to find someone to create a bespoke outfit for me.

Ami made my cousin’s beautiful wedding and reception outfits way back in 2008, so I knew that there was no one better for bespoke. I was initially worried about the cost and staying within budget, as well as the timescale. Ami was able to work around all my concerns and create the dress of my dreams within budget, and left time for alterations if needed.

Ami understood my vision and she came up with the ultimate red carpet gown, that felt both Indian and Hollywood at the same time. She listened to what I had in mind, as well as adding in her own ideas to come up with a unique and beautiful design.

I felt stunning on the day and all my guests loved my dress! The outfit was light and easy to move in, which was one of my main requirements. The colour was so unique and a detachable shoulder train and belt completed the outfit perfectly; taking these detachable elements away also allows me to rewear the outfit in the future to another event.

Ami’s whole process is seamless, from the initial consultation, hand drawn sketches and embroidered swatches, you can get an excellent feel of how your outfit will turn out. Her measurements are spot on, and the cotton fitting stage allows her get the fitting on the outfit right first time, whilst allowing time for alterations which she completes quickly if needed.

My other outfits were from a number of different designers, and I can honestly say that Ami was the one who I had the most trust in throughout the process. My only regret is not going to Ami sooner and asking her to do a few more outfits for me!

Ami has designed several outfits for me over the years and most recently, she designed both my wedding reception and Mehndi outfit and I couldn’t have been happier with both of them! I felt so special in these outfits and had so many compliments about how well designed and unique the outfits were. Ami is truly a one of a kind talent. In my experience a lot of people call themselves designers but only Ami has actually sat down with me and sketched my outfit out before creating sample swatches to approve the final design. Nothing is impossible with Ami and she is never short of a suggestion or two to ensure you have your dream outfit and stay in budget. I’ve always felt incredibly comfortable working with Ami and she treats every bride like she’s special and every outfit like it’s her most special creation yet. Ami is trustworthy and honest and so passionate about her. I only wish I had more events to go to so I could ask her to design everything for me. I can’t recommend her services enough. You won’t be disappointed.

Ami is a real talent and a true professional in what she does. I first visited Ami in October 2021 when on the search for a wedding outfit. Ami has a unique collection of outfits that she is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about. I found Ami to be very warm and personable to work with and enjoyed the whole process towards getting my final wedding outfit. She offered a fully bespoke service; the end result was simply stunning!!

If I could give 20 stars, I would. Ami created mine and my husband’s reception outfits. They were beautiful and we felt so amazing. I kept twirling in my dress and husband said the men who were already married were jealous of his suit, and those yet to be married wanting to know where he got it from.
Ami also created a mehendi outfit for me, just gorgeous!!!!
I could write an essay but highly, HIGHLY recommended.
