We used the automated consent order service at a cost of £900. As an IT novice, I found this very easy to follow and completion of the relevant paperwork was relatively easy. The staff at amicable were always just a phone call or e mail away and were very helpful, whilst remaining professional. Queries around documents were dealt with efficiently and I felt well informed every step of the way. Thanks to my own research and amicable's input our consent order was submitted efficiently and accepted by the court within 3 weeks. Thank you to all the staff.

There are two main challenges in a divorce - the emotional side and the paperwork, and Amicable helps with both.
Amicable gently and transparently nudges both ex-partners to sort out between them what is necessary, mediating and summarising both positions.
And the 'paperwork' (all online) is really not so logical and obvious to fill in, so it's great to have someone who knows how it should be and prompts through the stages.
And its cost effective, compared to the hassle of seeking advice elsewhere - or not doing so and getting it wrong. HIghly recommended!

They do what they say on the tin. They were helpful and informative. We could have as many meetings with them as needed , no query was too much. I would recommend provided you are BOTH amicable of course

Run by friendly and knowledgeable professionals who provide fast and friendly response to any queries along the way.
Helps to take the sting out of what is usually an emotionally charged process.

I’m grateful for the support of amicable during what was a very challenging period. We worked with Lucy throughout the process using the complete negotiation service, and her combination of legal expertise and emotional intelligence made a meaningful difference. She guided each stage with clarity, balance, and impartiality.
What stood out was how the legal structure and communication support worked together to keep momentum and help us navigate the challenges more smoothly. Our situation required a bespoke solution within the legal framework, and Lucy handled this with real agility and professionalism.
I don’t often write reviews, but the quality of support we received is deserving of acknowledgment. If you’re considering amicable and want a process that feels steady, fair, and human, I can confidently recommend them based on our experience.

Shreepali made the process very straight forward and we both felt listened to

Shreepali held our hand through the whole experience from start to finish. The financials were particularly complicated and her online mediation sessions were invaluable and everything was broken down and explained to us clearly. She is a very lovely person, remained professional at all times and never sided with either of us, treated us both fairly. It was a long process but that was mainly due to my ex husbands mental health, the length of time to sell the family home and working out all the financials but we got there in the end. I would thoroughly recommend using Amicable if a couple has mutually agreed (amicably) to part their separate ways.

Having obtained quotes from solicitors, it became apparent that divorcing using 'traditional' methods would be too expensive. I was originally quoted £20k minimum. So, on the recommendation of a recently divorced friend who'd had good experience, I checked out Amicable.
From beginning to end the experience was friendly and professional. Service and costs were explained. My ex and I were advised to look at our end outcome, and what the courts would typically look for, and keep that in mind throughout the experience.
Over the sessions we had with Shreepali, she remained impartial, and constructive in helping us to reach a financial agreement that we were both happy to accept.
Once agreed, Amicable made the process of writing up the financial order and processing through the court very simple.
6 months after our first meeting, I'm now divorced.
Thanks so much to Amicable. Thoroughly recommended.

Shreepali at Amicable was excellent throughout the divorce process. She managed the paperwork, timelines, and communications efficiently, kept the process structured and made sure nothing important slipped through the cracks. Her guidance on how to do disclosure, court orders, and next steps was clear and practical which removed a lot of uncertainty at a stressful time. She was consistently responsive and focussed on keeping the process moving towards a fair, workable outcome. A very professional service and a real asset to Amicable.

Being business partners and also promising our grown up children that if we ever divorced it would always be amicable meant that we couldn't allow anything acrimonious in our split. Nothing prepares you for how you will feel after breaking up - especially after 3 decades. We'd pretty much agreed everything on the back of a fag packet, but there were contentious issues. Shreepali looked after us, and not only was she kind and empathetic, but she held our hands through the process and helped us navigate any issues. If you don't want to waste your children's inheritance and your share of the proceeds in a break up then I would suggest you use Amicable. It really does live up to it's name and has prevented us from not only falling out, but also ensured that we've spent the minimal amount in splitting up. The whole process is quick and efficient but still manages to feel sympathetic and kind. Doing things online only worried me a bit at first because I thought it would feel impersonal, but Shreepali was so sincere and competent we actually want to meet her and thank her in real life. Cannot recommend enough. Keeping things amicable is better for everyone.

Getting divorced was truly awful, but the Amicable service, and specifically Sarah Warwick were brilliant.
The process was made clear, our input defined, understandable bones of contention were settled between my ex partner and myself - all because of the Amicable approach and great work by Sarah.

Navigating Divorce is extremely daunting and often very expensive.
After scrolling the internet and finding Amicable I can honestly say the process from start to finish was relatively stress free and Daniel helped us through at every stage. Any queries we had were dealt with promptly.
I would highly recommend Amicable and we just want to say thank you to Daniel for all your support. You made a very difficult time in our lives a little easier.

£1500 buys you one 30-minute phone call with an advisor, the rest has to be done by email. Their divorce specialists are overloaded with work and take days to respond to queries. The spreadsheet they gave us was full of errors, as were the documents they drafted for the court. We spent months going back and forth trying to get them to understand what we wanted. All in all the process took months longer than it needed to and I didn't feel I received any useful advice.

Can’t fault it at all
Would definitely recommend

Two great procrastinators agreed to divorce, and when we stalled I signed up for the service that Amicable provides. Our advisor was neutral, patient and approachable and chased us up at every stage. Thank you Sarah!
