Amvia have been absolutely fantastic
Amvia have been absolutely fantastic. My house has never had an option for any fibre services and has been stuck on ADSL for years with no plans from openreach to upgrade my area within the next 5 years. Not only has Amvia managed to pull me out of the stone age but they have done so with fantastic service and thorough communication throughout the entire process. They managed to find both a provider who was very professional and willing to get fibre installed into my premises in a very short timescale. I would recommend them to anyone.

Holmesfield Cricket Club
Amvia have been brilliant for Holmesfield Cricket Club. Last year we didn't have anything, now we have a phone line and brilliant wifi. We can now do online scoring for all matches, take card payments and register our new defibrillator on the network for all to use. The service was top class. We get wifi nearly all the way across the pitch, we would of been happy with it just at the pavilion. Thank you. Give them a call.

Amvia are an absolutely brilliant company. Knowledgeable and extremely efficient. After months of internet problems and getting nowhere with BT Amvia solved the issue in a few days. And they are cheaper.
18 months of bliss... Please, don't change!
Been 18 months since I took out my home office FTTP with Amvia following a house move, and it's been absolutely great. I was lucky, as the flats I moved into had the BT fibre box already fitted to the wall; was I more chuffed that activation was achieved in a couple of days of me signing? Yep! Aaron in provisioning was really informative of the setup process too, and I don't feel as I'm being fleeced, considering I'm getting 290 meg down, 50 meg up, and brilliant customer service.
Don't get me wrong, I did have a lengthy a drop a few weeks in - was told by Openreach I'd be offline for a week or so. Amvia's support and my account manager Nayim were really good throughout though, and managed to get me cheap 4G SIM delivered next day from them for my spare dongle. Didn't miss out on Mandalorian that week at least 😉
Would recommend this company to friends and colleagues in a heartbeat. Glad I moved from Virgin.

Fantastic experience from Amvia with my new FTTP 330/50. Engineer was terrific and got the job done very quickly and efficiently. Overall Amvia were superb in organising my installation and getting my router pre configured and shipped out to me.
First class service from friendly and…
First class service from friendly and professional people. It refreshing to experience customer support and service delivery as it should be. All to often these days we follow first line support which escalates to second or third with no real confidence on resolution whilst waiting on a call hold.. well not with Amvia - immediate action, clear communication carried out by professionals. My installation was an absolute nightmare as a result of shoddy third party sub contractors implemented by OpenReach - Andrew and the team at Amvia worked hard to resolve issues not of their making and restore service quickly and effectively. I measure the quality of an organisation not based on when it goes well but how well they deal with the disasters... First Class marks all round.. looking forward to my new and stable broadband - bonded to mitigate infra shortfalls here in rural Devon.
Great platform and service
We have worked with Amvia to implement a cloud based telephony system to assist us with remote working. The overall experience has been excellent so far.. Amvia's platform has allowed us to adopt new and flexible ways of working which has increased our productivity and the team at Amvia have been promptly supportive in every step of the way.
Remote support for firewall setup - excellent!
Amvia tech support were amazing at getting our new firewall setup remotely, providing excellent telephone support until all of our systems were fully operational to the standards we required. They worked around the times that were best for us, and were proactive in offering solutions.

Our business has received an exemplary service from Amvia. From sales through to support all the team members are friendly, helpful and professional. If i have a problem they are always there to sort it out quickly by email or phone. Andrew and Nayim have been great throughout.
Upgrade of Wi-Fi
We recently upgraded our office Wi-Fi with Amvia. Every single step of the procedure was handled professionally and efficiently, right from the initial enquiry to going live. We are a small company and don't have an inhouse IT expert but Amvia took the time and trouble to talk us through every single step.

A better service for a fraction of the price
We wanted a commercial installation of a 100Mb Leased Line for a client in Truro.
The client were based on a hospital site and Amvia advised that the location ‘might’ have FTTP and so they recommended pushing forward with an FTTP install but if it wasn’t possible the order would default back to Leased Line
We proceeded and they were right; we got a 900Mb FTTP for a fraction of the price of a 100Mb Leased Line

Amvia kept my business alive working from home during the pandemic with a 100Mb leased line. A sledgehammer to crack a walnut having a leased line fitted at home, but with the fight for bandwidth, my home connection just couldn't cope. With a global software business at stake, I needed the best!
From the initial survey right through to installation, their service has been nothing but professional. A special thanks to Rob Taylor for all his help, this is a guy that cares about you and your connectivity!
To give you an idea of Amvia service levels, these guys were calling me within 30 seconds when I powered off my managed router to cable tidy, just checking to see everything was ok!

We have been looking at ways to increase our broadband capabilities and speeds for a long time, however in our rural area up until the advent of FTTPoD we have had very little alternatives to reach gigabit speeds.
When FTTPoD first became available in our area I choose Amvia as our service provider for their attentiveness, willingness to listen to the customer and quick responses to any queries or questions I had.
They’ve been a pleasure to work with on our FTTPoD project since the outset, keeping me updated and being very patient throughout.
Since our service went live, we have had no hitches and everything has gone very smoothly.
Huge thanks to Nayim and Radaam who have always been very helpful with any question or query I’ve had about the service since choosing Amvia.
Stick to other companies
Stick to bigger, better companies, it's worth the wait if they take longer - which they probably won't anyway because Amvia took much longer than they promised anyway.
1. Promised a dedicated line from the main box, not an extension of an existing line - Failed - they ended up piggybacking off an existing line.
2. Installation date delayed and then failed as engineer arrived after closing time which resulted in limited access to a separate building that didn't belong to us. - Failed
3. Booked another installation which took about a week, guy turns up, forgets his drill and refuses to use a drill one of our staff kindly offered them - we had to drill the hole ourselves and the installation had now finally completed - but speeds were not as promised/sold to us. - Half Fail
4. Came with 2.4Ghz router, not 5Ghz compatible, already disappointed they said they'll TRY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT and send a better router, it would have been BYGONES BE BYGONES, BUT then I've just RECEIVED A BILL for the shipping of a new router and they are expecting us to send back the router without providing a prepaid label. Which should be standard customer service, nothing special.
5. More expensive by double than your mainstream BT, EE etc.
6. Rubbish service
7. No access to router allowed by us, they have full control.
8. Speed is not as promised, BT/EE etc are quicker.
9. Set Up Charge
10. 12 Month contract, they said I can cancel if I'm NOT HAPPY when I was MIS-SOLD the deal, but now they said I CAN'T CANCEL as it's TOO LATE (due to there delayed installation)
11. Overall, extremely dissatisfied and disappointed - the reviews are good, but the service I received was rubbish and the head of sales is sarcastic, condescending and pretends to try to help, whilst laughing at our complaints - very artificial.

Amazing team can't recommend enough
The team at Amvia is fantastic. Some issues came up getting the infrastructure in place via Openreach, but the Amvia team kept me in the loop. They continually chased and followed up on all the works going on. I have gone from a very shakey 12MB line to a 300MB connection. As a small IT business owner and the father of a special needs child who uses the internet for education, a quick, reliable connection is vital. I cannot thank the team enough for the help. I can't recommend them enough.
