Great hair quality that actually lasts.
I find with other brands hair will thin out at the ends. Not with these wefts, I’m blonde I use the hair myself life span is great , no shedding, tangles.

These extensions are LIFE. They’re so natural-looking and high-quality—it’s crazy they last for over a year. Customer service even helped me pick the perfect color match, and it’s chef’s kiss. Don’t waste your money on anything else. These are IT.

I purchased four packs of i-tip extensions from Archie Lloyds and received two different types of extensions, both labeled as i-tips by the company. One type appears to be an older version, but the end of so thick that special beads had to be ordered to install them.

When choosing where to purchase my extensions, I conducted extensive research, and Archie Lloyds came highly recommended. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. While they did send me a free pack of hair, it was the wrong color and the wrong length, making it unusable for my needs.

I spoke directly with the owner, who has refused to take full responsibility for the issue. While she offered to exchange the thicker extensions for the regular kind, she insists that I cover the cost of shipping, which is particularly expensive as it involves sending the package to Ireland.

I have also heard from others who have had negative experiences with this company, and I now regret my decision to purchase from them.

Excellent customer service and I was colour matched just by a photo, this shows how well Donna knows her extensions.

The hair is so sleek, lightweight and shiny! Wasn’t sure of the genius weft when i was presented with the options Donna offers but we discussed at length how i style my hair and how I wanted them to be discreet. So glad i went for the genius weft it is incredible.

First time purchasing from here and if the hair was awful I wouldn't use again.
Communication isn't great, having to chase eta, ask has the item been dispatched to find it hadn't, promised to send it one day sent it the next.
The hair quality is stunning, however, the colour pictured isn't a true representation of the colour unfortunately.

I've been lucky enough to do some courses with archie Lloyds. I've done mesh integration and male hair loss topper .

The lady is lovely nothing too much for her ! Really friendly and understanding. I've been having a bit of a hard time atm with my parter being seriously ill and they have been so kind and supportive.
There hasn't been anything to small for them I've message at any time and get a response.
The videos sent were clear and really helpful.
I have enjoyed every second of my time doing it and I feel fully supported moving forward. I've done other courses with other companies and archie Lloyds have been a extremely positive experience and just brilliant.
I'm just about to do another and really looking forward to it ! I'd definitely recommend them .

I have never left a review on any site at any time before but the experience I had with the lady who owns Archie Lloyds in Newry, was the worst I have ever experienced. I had developed alopecia in a very rapid manner and was feeling extremely vulnerable. I went from having a full head of hair to being completely bald in a period of 5 weeks. I had arranged a consultation with the owner and had agreed to purchase a human hair wig, at a cost of £950. Being a young single mother of 3 children, this was an amount of money I did not have but fortunately I had a friend who loaned me the deposit of £480.

I was told the wig would take 4-6 weeks to deliver but I got a voicemail on the 7th week telling me that the wig was now ready for collection, or that she could post it out to me. This caused the alarm bells to ring immediately, as she had agreed to provide a specific inhouse stylist who was known locally, who would be able to cut and style the wig, to suit the features of my face. This was also the specific reason I decided to buy from her, because of the personalised service, which was part of the deal, from a stylist I knew and trusted.

When I contacted the owner about the stylist, who we had previously agreed was going to be styling my wig and an integral part of the deal, she said “she’s actually off at the minute if there’s a salon you would like to go, I’d be happy to cover the charge”. This was not acceptable to me because the stylist was the deciding factor in my buying decision. Fortunately, I had the number of the stylist on my phone and I phoned her immediately, only to find out that she was actually in work. Once this happened, I knew I couldn’t trust this woman and for ethical reasons, I didn’t want to do business with her under any circumstances.

I also have the timestamp and screenshots of this on my phone. I was told a moving story by the owner where this stylist had helped another girl from Banbridge who had lost all of her hair and that the inhouse stylist was full of satisfaction because she was able to put a smile on this young girl’s face. I was able to speak to the stylist later on that day and found out that she knew about the girl but that this story had been totally manufactured. The stylist also walked out from the business later on that day because she found the owner’s business practices highly unethical and she was not employed as a stylist in that business. I later found out that the stylist wasn’t even consulted about our agreement.

I told the owner I was coming in the afternoon to get my refund because she had violated the terms of our agreement and I wasn’t going to take a chance on someone I didn’t know, styling an expensive wig, outside of Archie Lloyds premises. When I got there, she had locked up her premises and went away but I waited for a considerable time with a friend at a café across the street, until we saw her arrive back. I believe she was hiding from me. When we approached her, she was incredibly aggressive and asked us to come upstairs but we said no and I remained standing on the street. She refused to give me a refund and refused to address the issue of her not providing the stylist and we left, informing her that we will be taking her to the small claims court to resolve the matter. A few hours later I was contacted by the PSNI because she made an allegation that my friend had assaulted and threatened her but that she didn’t want to press charges. This was totally fabricated and the specific reason I decided to leave this review. I would seriously warn any person from doing any sort of business with this woman, as she is highly unethical and cannot be trusted.

I would also suggest anyone reading this review check out the “Archie Lloyds Hair Extensions’s flagging activity” under the “Customer Activity” page on Trustpilot. What you will notice is the following factually accurate and indisputable statistics, which do not violate the Trustpilot terms of service…

“Archie Lloyds Hair Extensions flagged 9 of their reviews a total of 10 times.”
“88% of those cases turned out to be invalid.”
It appears that most, if not all, of the negative reviews are systematically challenged by Archie Lloyd’s, even if they’re 100% honest and accurate.
It also states that Archie Lloyd’s “hasn't replied to negative reviews for the past 12 months.” I think this is because she would rather have them removed, rather than have transparency.
It also shows that out of the total of 40 reviews left on Trustpilot, the majority of them are negative. It shows that 45% of them are positive, while 48% of them are negative.
