Ark design exceeded my expectations and I am beyond happy with my garden room. From start to finish they took their time to listen to what I wanted and kept me informed at each stage of the build.
The attention to details and quality of the build is so much better than other companies and I am so happy I choose Ark Design. They were recommended to me and I would totally recommend them to anyone thinking of building a garden room.

Great company to deal with, highly recommended. We were very impressed with Ark from start to finish. Excellent design, clear quotation and communications. Stuck to the promised timeline and even finished a little earlier than expected. We are delighted with the new space. Special thanks to Piers and Dave.

Just had a garden studio built with the guys at Ark. so pleased with it and the build quality is excellent. Piers and George were great throughout the build! Everything was completed on time and every detail was taken care of. Highly recommend!

From the quote through to the build being completed Piers was very easy to deal with. Communication was quick and they were accommodating to some changes during the build. Dave and Jack who completed the build were great guys to have around. No hesitation recommending Ark.

Tim and his team of Alex, Ian and Steffan designed and built for us a garden office for my wife to work from. This was on a sloping pitch of land towards the back of our garden. The team did a fantastic job from start to finish, including piling in the underpinnnings, building the actual office, and wiring in the internet and power. In particular, huge shout out to Steffan who was incredibly flexibly and helpful throughout the entire process. We were able to discuss and revise details of the original paper plan as we went and we saw how the office actually situated itself. Steffan provided options and suggestions based on his extensive experience, which meant we ended up with a final result that was even better. All mess was cleared away efficiently, and every single person we dealt with during the process was helpful and friendly. Would definitely use again for our outside building needs.

What can we say? These guys are the real deal: organised and efficient, polite and professional, delivering a first rate, bespoke product in a first rate manner. We're usually pretty sceptical about online reviews but Piers, George and the team from Ark truly were exceptional - so many of the reviews on this site describe accurately the experience that we had. If you are considering any kind of garden studio, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ark.

I cannot recommend this company more highly. Having completed an out building for my sister, I felt confident in Arks ability to design and build my garden room. I was not disappointed! From start to finish, Piers and his team were amazing. My garden wasn't the easiest to navigate but nothing was too much trouble. They helped get the most out of my space and designed the perfect landscaped garden to finish the look. The garden room seamlessly integrates with the rest of the house and the quality of the finish is absolutely 5 stars. Communication with Piers was very efficient and the management of various tradesman to keep the project moving forward was impressive. Even when I changed my mind about parts of the design, nothing was too much trouble and a solution found. Thank you Ark, we now battle over who gets use out of this new space!

Having spent much time researching a garden studio; I came upon Ark Design Build. Unlike others, they don’t have a showroom - but this shouldn’t put anyone off. A near neighbour had just had a large outside room built and I was able to see first hand the quality of Arks work. It was impressive! I knew what I wanted, but still had advice and suggestions which helped make it function better for me. Several aspects of this company stood out from the start; firstly, they’re local; secondly, they build onsite from scratch (unlike others I’d viewed). It is tailer made to fit a space. The joinery is of a very high standard, and everything fits together perfectly. It was put up efficiently by a skilled team who were friendly and helpful at all times. Waste was bagged and cleared away promptly. Care and consideration are part of their priority. Piers always responded promptly to any queries, and has gone out of his way to help and make it just as I wanted. The cost is competitive in relation to other companies who build to this standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ark Design Build to anyone. I hope they continue to do well.

We are over the moon with our garden office, Tim was great in the planning phase - understanding what we wanted & talking through pros and cons as we changed our minds! Steffan is a superbly skilled individual who built the whole thing single handedly in 16 days - the attention to detail and quality of the build are just perfect. Beyond pleased with the results & wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend to others 🤗

Tim and James were fantastic throughout the whole build process. We were very picky with the design, changing things all the way up to the build date, but Tim was brilliant at helping us with every small amend and detail that we wanted.
Couldn’t recommend them more! And will 100% go to them for anything more we need in the future.

Tim was happy to listen to our design ideas whilst also suggesting (but not forcing) his own ideas. Our original design was slightly different, Tim carefully explained there were better options whilst making it clear that the choice was ours. We're glad we listened to him as our garden office has turned out to be better than expected.

Stef built it super quickly and was super friendly -our next door neighbour loved him and to top it off he left the garden tidier than he found it. He's an excellent ambassador for the company!!

Our garden office is lovely, we've had it for approximately six months and couldn't love it more.

We've just had a garden office and store completed and are really pleased with both the end product and the service provided by ARK.
Everyone involved from design to finish was helpful and constructive (despite being continually harassed by our dog!) and the whole process on site was quick and seamless.

If you're looking for a company to create a life-changing space for you, do not look any further.
Ark has built a 6m x 3m gym in our garden with an extra smaller ~3m x ~2m parallelogram shaped extension to act as storage space.
So yes, we had quite the awkward shaped space to begin with and to add to the complexity we needed planning permission due to the height.
Tim/Piers handled the design and planning permission - absolutely hassle free (for us anyway!).
Piers/George and the rest of the team handled the build like champions. FULL flexibility on the shape of the space, electrical supplies (we bought our own lights/sockets) and quite frankly very pleasant to have around!
Not to mention that the price was A LOT more reasonable than some other companies out there.
Overall, highly recommended.

Fantastic result from Ark. Stef did an amazing job and the fast and positive support from Tim for on-the-go requests and changes was appreciated. The final quality is exceptional, both to look at and work in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ark to anyone looking to do a project.

The process from start to finish was made easy by Tim & the team, including a last minute redesign which maximised the available space, the build was fast and efficient with continuous updates and assistance with the inevitable small changes we wanted to make, the finished build was beyond our expectations and we are delighted with the finished result, would highly recommend - Jason & Caroline Gibbons
