Fantastic! We are so thrilled with our cabin. We had quotes from other companies but we chose Piers and his team as they were so personable and knowledgeable. Throughout the process, from design to build and the aftercare, Piers has been excellent and very prompt at coming back to us. His team are all excellent- polite, tidy and listened to our ideas, plus providing advice when needed. We thoroughly recommend them. Thank you!

We love our new garden office! Build quality is great, and the guys (Piers) were great, sorting out any issues with no quibbles. Highly recommend.

We looked at every option for a garden room from DIY up. We're so glad we chose Ark to do the job over anyone else - our garden room is amazing.

The communication before we started was friendly, efficient and helpful. The build went without a hitch, Piers and George were a pleasure to have here on a daily basis, they kept the site clean and tidy and the work they've done is of such a high standard.

Our garden room is being used as an office, treatment room and also an extra room away from the house. It's so well insulated it's warmer than our actual house! We are already getting so much use out of it.

We would recommend Ark 100% to anyone who asks, great service, work and an end product to be proud of.

From the moment we contacted Ark we’ve been impressed. At the start Piers offered advice, spec and suggestions and after giving the go-ahead even addressed the various changes that had to happen when the odd challenge presented itself. Very professional and approachable, it really did help to sound out ideas as the project moved along – for which turned out quite different to how it was first imagined (all for the better).
It was a gamble to undertake the project in Feb/Mar especially this year when the weather has been awful, but come wind, rain and even snow Steff was on hand undertaking the daily slog, putting up with my constant questioning and again showing us ways to enhance the build (the screen was an amazing final touch). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, , big thumbs up to the whole team for a great end product, especially unique due to the undulating ground it was built on - I know it wasn't easy and I appreciate the care and attention to detail to the very end.

From the initial meeting to the final fitting of the roof and gutter we received a wonderful service, the communication was good with options being offered and discussed in a transparent manner.
Ark turned up when they said they would, did the job and left the site tidy. Great company to work with.

We recently had a bespoke garden office / gym built by the team at Ark. Stef was our main contact throughout the build whilst we engaged with Tim on the design / commercials. Stef was a pleasure on site always sharing updates on progress and keeping us informed through the process. Tim was open to changes in design right up until the days before we started with a fairly late change to the fundamental design - opting for a veranda / decking attached to the main building. I would recommend the team without hesitation.

I was really impressed with the service throughout my build and the end result. My garden office looks really smart and is a great environment to work in.

A huge thank you to the Ark team who were involved in building our garden studio, especially Steffan who built the main structure. They are professional and hardworking with excellent communication about each stage of the build and a pleasure to have around.
In the beginning it was really helpful to view a build in progress and see the quality of their work before making a commitment. Tim designed a bespoke building that not only met our requirements but fits beautifully into our split level garden. We are absolutely thrilled with the new studio and would highly recommend Ark.

Piers and team built an amazing garden studio which was completed this week. Having done a lot of building works, I have to say that Ark are about the best we have ever worked with. We had to wait 6mths for the work to start, but it was worth the wait. Right from the start they were a pleasure to deal with - relevant advice, accommodating of inputs and changes - and from the start of the build (right on time!) it was seamless until the end (also right on time!). The team were super hard working and a pleasure to have around. A huge thanks to Piers, George and the rest of the team.

We have recently had a garden studio built by Ark Design. The project was managed efficiently with great communication. The build is of high quality and the team were great to work with.

Excellent company to deal with. From design to construction -a cracking job! Nothing was too much trouble. Perfect finish throughout.. Cant recommend them enough!

I couldn't have asked for a better team. They came and took down an old garage, turning into a new outbuilding/office with storage.
It was done to exactly the spec we wanted and more, with the team really caring about every detail - even things I had no idea about.

The team as well were a joy to have around whilst they were building.

The Ark team recently completed our ~10mx4m Garden annex comprising a living/entertaining area including kitchenette, an office/bedroom, bathroom and storage room, as well as a surrounding decking area.

I would highly recommend the Ark team. Piers led the project from start (initial consultation in Spring 2021) through to finish (March 2022) and couldn’t have been more helpful. He was very happy to accommodate various tweaks/add-ons along the way and kept me up to speed with how it was impacting the budget. Nothing was ever ruled out but at the same time Piers’ experience on similar projects meant he could input with invaluable advice in making decisions e.g. with regard to installing a wall bed in the office and with deciding how to go about batten fencing around our decking area to name just a couple.

The other members of the Ark team were all courteous, hard-working and did a great job throughout. The same for all the sub-contractors used (water, tree surgeons, ground screws, painters, plasterers, electricians!)

We are delighted with the end product which will serve as both a home office for me and my wife as well as a great entertaining and guest space - thanks guys!

We commissioned Ark to build a Garden entertainment room in March 2021.

Right from the start of the process we felt really comfortable with Piers and Tim. We made numerous tweaks along the way that were speedily agreed.

We had to wait to commence the build until late summer but the team were communicating through the difficulties of the pandemic and other supply issues.

The build commenced on time and the site team lead by Jonno were brilliant. They were respectful tidy and diligent. Was a real pleasure to have them on-site.

The build was completed to an incredibly high standard with lots of small unexpected details like cladding alignment. Making sure we were consulted on every detail.

The other professionals used were the same including the ground screws. electrician, plasterer and painters.

I really have nothing negative to say and would not hesitate to recommend the team.

We are incredibly happy with the end result and believe it presented great value considering the high standard.

They have also been helpful resolving some minor post build issues this reflects well on their ethos of making clients happy.

Definitely worth the wait and money for a studio that I just love. Tim, Piers, George and all the contractors that were on site to build my garden studio were always polite and professional. They were happy to answer any questions and before the build kept me up to date with delivery dates of materials and then who would be on site and when during the build. It was good to have tradesmen on my property that did not make me feel intimidated and did not come up with any unexpected additional cost to the original quote. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. The soundproof that I requested definitely goes towards keeping the noise out as well as keeping the noise in despite the glassed door and window, so find it very peaceful to work in (good for remote yoga classes). Most of all, the studio just looks lovely ...the only part of my garden I am proud of. Thank you

We found ark design three months before moving into our new house and were so impressed with their work we secured a build date before even moving in. Tim, James and their team have been fantastic and have been a pleasure to have around each day. Will actually miss having them here! The level of professionalism and attention to detail is second to none and Tim has been amazing at adapting as the build has progressed and in suggesting creative options at every stage of the build to ensure the final studio meets our needs. The final result has exceeded our hopes and expectations and we genuinely couldn’t recommend ark design enough. If you’re looking for a studio and are considering ark design, we would say don’t hesitate. Thanks guys!

It was a neighbour that recommended Ark and wow, what a recommendation. From the moment we met Piers to the moment he handed us the keys to our new garden escape it was a top class experience and end result. Custom built from the ground up, the quality of the craftsmanship and materials, the attention to detail, the punctual timings and the cleanliness just made this project fly by. We opted for an extra deck also and Piers quickly made sure that the changes were accommodated and delivery timings were maintained. I can’t actually speak highly enough of what has been achieved. A cut above the rest would not be an under statement. Pricing is not eye watering, especially when you see what you actually end up with. While others may look the same from the cladding, the construction of what is beneath is a gulf apart. You get what you pay for, and on this rare occasion a lot more than you bargained for. Superb superb superb.

Would happily recommend Ark as the quality of build they delivered was fantastic and they are really easy to work with. Through word of mouth, I ordered a 4x3m garden office in December, and although it took a few months to start the build (in the current market for garden offices it would be worrying if they could respond straight away!), once they commenced it was a great experience start to finish. I expected some 'pre-fab' but the whole building was crafted from scratch and to a very high quality. The on-site build manager was extremely conscientious, I was very pleased with the result, and I wouldn't hesitate to encourage others to use them.

Ark did a fantastic job with our custom 5.5 x 3m garden office with 3m sliding doors, skylight, plus storage. Piers was great to deal with from start to finish, always available to discuss ideas, and open-minded when it came to a few specific design detail requests. The team was a pleasure to have on site. I would highly recommend Ark.
