Hi Andy how are you and all the team including The Guru (Venn snr ) I still have both the discovery and the 90 which introduced you to me and me to Landrover ownership. The 90 is holding out well these days its now sporting a coat of Nato green ...so easy to touch up after green laning and trips around Salisbury plain. We now have a Waeco fridge and a rugged trail storage drawer installed in the rear with an overhead shelf made by myself from angled steel and recycled bed slats. The winch is still performing well. Amazingly the 90 has completed three Macmillan 4x4 challenges roughly 3400 miles in all. I missed the 2013 event but we are entered in the 2014 event where It is hoped monies raised will go over the Million pound accumulative total . The Disco is still carting me ,Ade , Natalie and the dogs to all the usual places including holidays and essential family stuff . Keep promising myself that I must come and visit .I was quite engrossed by your blogs detailing your trip around the world on the motorbike. I was slightly envious but equally proud of your achievement .To think that a mate of mine had the courage and determination to undertake such a venture and not only alone but on a motorbike as well
I've uploaded a few pics of the 90 for you to enjoy .I finally sorted my broadband so looked at all Meet Joe videos to day had a chuckle at the talking bear and your reflection in the shiny body work ....as you did the voiceover . Ha and wondered about you re doing the 90 to my spec but your standards. First pic rear and side view is the latest addition military antennae mount with orbitor cb aerial installed. Third was taken during 2012 Macmillan event in the Pennines. My navigator is away in the snow taking a p***........ actually no he's climbed over a stile just to the right to look a plaque which had the answer to a clue .Any how it only remains to say that I hope you and all the guys including those I've met and those I've yet to meet have a great Christmas and a fantastic new year
