Excellent after sales service team.
Some faults do appear and are expected on a newly built property, the important thing is, to get any problems rectified, quickly and permanent. I can say the service from the Customer Services team and the work carried out by the team doing the actual remedial work on site especially Gavin on the Service Team.

My partner and I moved into our first house in July and it’s fair to say we had some issues when we moved in the main one of these being a leak in the en suite. Since we first voiced the concern Gavin has been round multiple times even unscheduled to check in and make sure we’re okay, has solved the leak and has done an amazing job in clearing it up. I can’t recommend the man enough as he is efficient and very professional and I know if we have any problems in the future we are in safe hands

What a beautiful Home we have moved into, and what a great team Ashwood Homes have, everyone from sales, to site manager have done all they can to make our move a happy one. There has not been a single member of their team who have not been a pleasure to deal with, any queries we have had have been addressed straight away. We have had new homes in the past but Ashwood Homes beat the lot!.

Overall generally good service
Overall generally good service, some things have taken a while to get sorted with other teams.
But the maintenance team I cannot fault! Very thorough and ensures everything is perfect before leaving, he even cleans the area properly. Very good.

I was relocating from overseas and had been looking on Rightmove for some time. I came across Ashwood Homes and saw the house I wanted to buy,
As soon as I arrived in the UK I arranged to go and view the property within 48 hours. I decided then I wanted to purchase it.
The process only took 4 weeks and I am now happily settled in my new home. (The property I saw on Rightmove).

We have now been in our ashwood home for just over a year.
Unfortunately for us we have had nothing but trouble since moving in.
For the first 8months we pretty much had contractors carrying out remedial works and to be honest apart from one we had to have every single one back to rectify what they had done as is was such a poor standard.
The main issues were the garden and the brick work of the property. The brickwork is terrible and we had over 30 damaged bricks that had to be replaced, some didn't even have the mortar finished. The owner Carry's out the repairs himself and the first thing he said to me was the group that built ours have been sacked! Its laughable really.
However the garden they just leave you with a bed of soil that is 100% not ok to lay grass on. The drainage was terrible and at first they agreed to rectify the issue, even their own site manager in his own words said it was S**T! It went on for so long in the end we had to pay to remove 40+ tonnes of soil and sort the garden ourselves. We sent an email of complaint too the director, he replied at first but then stopped.
There was no quality control from start to finish!
There were so many issues we have had, too many to list but put it this way after the first walk round the house we had 4 pages of snags.
Some we are having to wait until summer of 2024 to get sorted!
We had issues when going through the sale process and they tried blaming us for not stating correctly but then back tracked even ended up with 2M shorter garden than what we were told when putting the deposit down.
Honestly it has been a complete joke
I've literally just put up two new lights in our lounge this evening and it shows how bad the finish is of the ceiling.
We knew buying a new build would have it's issues but didn't expect nothing like this.
There is not one good thing I have to say about this company and my advice would be to stay well away!
They are a bunch of cowboys and the contractors they use.

Minor snagging list at 6 months was dealt with by Gavin meticulously.Two other members of our family have bought Ashwood homes we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them first class
Lovely new build, very happy.
2 months we’ve now been in our new build by Ashwood, love it! Everything went smoothly and had no major problems at all. The little snag list has been completed today by Gavin who was great. Thanks to Chrissie in the sales office too who helped us a lot with this purchase. Quick responses from emails. Little issue with one sink but they sent the plumbers in the next day to sort it out. Would defo recommend to buy with Ashwood.

New build & lived in for 3 years!
We had our Ashwood home for just over 3 years. We loved our house and found the quality was great and the value for money was spot on. The houses were not all “rammed in” like a typical new build estate, we had nice carpets, a decent sized garden and branded appliances. Couple of little niggles like every brand new house, they are built by hand so there is often imperfections, this is to be expected! Thanks for our lovely 3 years!

Snagging
We would like to thank Gavin for the exceptional work he carried out which was made more difficult taking over part repairs from Kristian. He was very professional, full of knowledge and tips for me on how to look after walls, wood on doors, skirting boards etc. Etc. Which I soaked up. He certainly knows everything about snagging and houses in general. When I see him I do acknowledge him with a wave and even had a chat. In the chat he asked me if everything was still ok and it is. So please pass on our sincere thanks, top tradesman.

We purchased our house on Cowley Park and have been thoroughly impressed through each stage from reserving, the building process to completing.
Yesterday we had some remedial works completed with Gavin who I believe is relatively new to the company and what a wonderful addition he is to Ashwood Homes, he was friendly, approachable and professional and completed all of our remaining remedial works that have been overdue for a while.
If you're thinking of buying a home with Ashwood Homes, you won't be disappointed.

Can I say a big thank you for completing our snagging list without any drama’s what so ever, everyone of the various tradesmen from the different companies turned on time and completed their jobs and cleaned up after themselves,
But my biggest thank you ( and I wished I could remember his name ) is to the guy who works for yourself and was at our house on 17th Feb filling cracks and touching up paintwork he did a brilliant job and is a credit to your company.

garden flooded and had to fix myself as no contact
its been a year and only got back to me twice. ive chased up more times than i can remember.
my garden is severely water logged and because you havent been out after 6 months i have now paid someome to do the job for me. cost was in the 1,000s the landscaper i used said the top soil was not down to 100mm which is what it should be and was just clay on top, hence the flooding and drainage issuies. when he dug it up there was rubble and waste to be found aswell.
i first emailed in december last year took 4 months to get a reply. after a few emails you sent someone to come and have a look again didnt show and the day he did luckily i was at home.
he recommended to me it needs re doing but after that no response and there only so long you can wait.
after work was done i emailed saying maybe you could offer some money back as ive had to get people in.
the reply was "ill will ask the relevant people and get back to you"
again no response.
i really like my house ive had no isuuies other than the garden. the sales team were great but im afraid since you have let yourselves down.....
