Has anyone successfully got their money…
Has anyone successfully got their money back from this company? I’m about to send a load back but am concerned I won’t have anything at all at the end of this! Not that I want to keep the clothes as they are terrible… Thank you
Zero stars for raggedy ‘Fur Ciat’
Zero stars, ordered a gorgeous fur coat, thought it was a London based company - wrong - this unlined rag turned up from China - I’ve got no illusions that I’ll get my money back - so might turn it into cushion covers so my moneys not completely wasted. Memo to self ‘Don’t order based on what I see on FB’.
The ordering process was easy
The ordering process was easy, and I had no problems with the website. My package arrived a few days later than the tracking initially indicated.
The dress fits well and is comfortable enough for everyday wear. Not perfect, but overall a decent experience.
This is not a London based company
This is not a London based company. Should you need to return the item , you will have to send it to a remote part of china and the passage will cost more than the item.
The product does not look like the item advertised.
Poor quality and no ability to return the item.
Wow ,what a complete scam
Wow ,what a complete scam of a company, it's not a UK based company, if the item is no good , you have to pay return postage to Asia , so it works out cheaper to just put the item in the bin ,items are very poor quality
SCAM
Waited 3 weeks for my dress. When it arrived it looked nothing like the advert. It was black instead of grey but I was told it looks different in certain lights. It doesn’t it’s black. If want to return it it’s £23, the dress was £50. You’d pay £10 for this on a market stall. You can exchange it but have to pay shipping. I’ve only given 1star because you have too ! SCAM. AVOID THIS COMPANY
Says London but goods come from China
Not a UK company, goods come from China. Poor quality and watch out for their returns policy. 20% refund/70% voucher or return to China at £20+ postage fee !
The item I received does not resemble…
The item I received does not resemble in any shape or form the item I sent for. I am now trying to get a refund but no luck so far. Please, please do not use this company. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. I paid £60 for what looked like a beautiful sheepskin coat and received something I wouldn't wipe my floors with. This company should not even get a 1 star rating I wish there was a minus rating available.
Don’t go there
Don’t go there. Two weeks to arrive, nothing like photo on website, awful quality. Now they want me to pay £23 to send it back. Sham
Not worthy of one star
Not worthy of one star - a cheap rag of a dress that didn’t resemble what was on the website - I wish I had read the reviews - DONT ORDER
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
Ah I wish I read the reviews before purchasing. I bought on Christmas Day as I was inundated with ads on Instagram. A complete con, fraud company. All images on website are AI generated. It’s clearly a Chinese company disguised as an English Brand to lure victims in. It’s too embarrassing to even give to a charity shop. Can’t get hold of the company now. Wish I could leave a photo of the online product vs what arrived. It’s horrifying.
I need a refund
I need a refund. Item not as described. Really poor quality!
How do I return…. ASAP
Arrived today, ordered a month ago
After a long wait I eventually got my…
After a long wait I eventually got my coat, we’ll I say coat it’s more like a dressing gown with no lining and no labels except The Made in China label ( which is where it came from) Certainly not London!!!
I wouldn’t give you a fiver for this crap material never mind £40..Just wished I had read the reviews….KEEP CLEAR !
The website was very user-friendly and…
The website was very user-friendly and the checkout process only took a few minutes, which I really appreciated. My dress is true to size, but the delivery took longer than expected.
In the end, the dress arrived, and the quality is good for the price. However, I think the overall experience could have been smoother.
Buyer beware!!!
Buyer beware!!!! I cannot emphasise enough NOT to buy from this company. The garments are substandard, poor quality and poorly made. Nowhere on Facebook does it mention their returns policy. This is only given to you should you have an issue and need to contact their customer services. The head office is in London yet they appear to have all orders sent directly from China which take weeks to arrive. All returns are made at the consumers expense, at a minimum cost of £23 directly back to the warehouse in China.
I paid £81 for a faux sheepskin coat. It is the worst quality garment I have ever purchased and feel foolish for taking a chance with this company because I was led to believe they were a British Company.
Now I’m in a dilemma. Do I return the item at my own expense and risk being a further £23 out of pocket in addition to the £81 I paid for the item? Is there any guarantee they will refund me or will they claim that they never received the return back to China?
I am disgusted that this company is allowed to trade on Facebook, particularly with the number of negative reviews.
I will be taking my issue up with trading standards and I urge anyone who has had a negative experience with this company to do the same.
They can only continue trading if people don’t take action against them. Together, we need to make a stand and report them to Facebook and trading standards. I will certainly be doing this now.
Misleading Quality, Poor Customer Service, and Costly Returns
First of all, Audrey & Rose and Aubrey & Rose are the same company.
The quality of the product is nowhere near what is shown on the website. The overall quality, stitching, construction, shape, hand feel, and sizing is the worst I have seen in a garment. The supplier could not even be bothered to trim loose threads.
I purchased a sweater that arrived over three weeks late. I was told there was a slight delay at the warehouse and that the product would be available within 4–7 days, which never happened.
When I attempted to return the item, I was informed that their UK warehouse is “under renovation”, meaning the item would need to be returned to China, at a cost of £23, with a return process taking 4–6 weeks. The only alternatives offered were a 10% refund or a 50% discount on another product, which I assume would be of the same poor quality.
For anyone considering buying from this company, I would strongly advise you to think twice.
Please consider the reviews on Trustpilot
I ordered a jumper and trousers set from Aubrey & Rose via an Instagram advertisement. The items received did not match the product images — the colours did not match each other or the listing, and the quality was poor.
The parcel arrived with a UK return address, but when I requested a refund I was told the item would need to be returned to China at my own expense, at a cost of around £23. This was not made clear at the point of purchase.
Customer service repeatedly misidentified the product as a “dress”, despite this being incorrect, and offered only partial refunds unless I paid for international return shipping.
Based on my experience, I found the product description, return process, and customer service to be misleading and disappointing.
Do not buy from them!
This is not a UK company. Based in China. The quality is extremely poor and not like the website photos. They do not offer easy refunds. You have to send back to China at cost to yourself around 20 pound. Then waiting for 6 weeks for refund if it turns up. Do not buy anything from them. They also have other company names trying to sound uk based.
raising awareness so someone else doesnt experience the same
Thought I was buying in uk with english names on emails etc too. Arrives nothing like photo or expected quality. no returns slip. On line the website wont open as says possible scam company. To return it should be to uk company and they send out to next sale or return to china where they tell me I have to do myself at cost of £23 and wait 2 months for refund which will be big loss. clearly expecting me to not bother or purchase something else with a discount likely to be same poor quality and i cant even access website. I dont normally reveiw if I have nothing good to say but this clearly is all very poor and not set up right. i have a shop and the companies import and deliver to us free. It did not cost £23 to sent to me so why would i be charged that amount for a small packet in plastic .
