Hidden Hearing exploited my dying mother

Hidden Hearing in Bournemouth- exploited the failing health of my mother by selling her a £5000 hearing aid not fit for purpose! Finally got it resolved when in hospice, when Victoria reluctantly deigned to visit my dying mother - and made her feelings clear, which is utterly unprofessional inappropriate behaviour. Avoid if at all vunerable

Felt pressured into buying expensive…

Felt pressured into buying expensive hearing aids, couldn't use them as unbeknown to me had an ear infection. Probably due to having wax removal procedure. However I was refunded my money straightaway after complaining and returning the aids.

Does your audiometrist have open ears to learn more?

The young man called Cameron (?) was a trainee, but very easy to communicate with and was open minded regarding the close connection of overclosure of the jaws accompanying the inevitable wearing out dentition with age, and the affect on hearing of the Temporo-Mandibular joint position.

Happy consultation.

Consultant I saw was very clear and excellent at asking me questions about my hearing, she explained all about the picture of the inside of my ear and assured me all was well, happy consultation.

I made an appointment to have my ears…

I made an appointment to have my ears cleared on Wednesday. On getting there I asked to make an appointment re new hearing aids and was given one for that very afternoon.
I was impressed by the expertise of the audiologist and simply astonished to find that I was able to walk out of the shop that day actually wearing the new aids.

Friendly, Professional, and Worth Every Penny

Hidden Hearing are absolutely fantastic. My partner and I visit Ros once or twice a year for a hearing test and wax removal. As keen scuba and free divers, ear health is really important to us, and Ros always takes exceptional care of us. She’s thorough, knowledgeable, and endlessly patient with my many questions. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. Hidden Hearing in Westbourne is worth every penny, and I’d highly recommend their friendly, professional service.

Poor management and pointless

You contacted us every couple of days asking us to make an appointment. Eventually when we agree, we are put through to someone who asks if there is a problem with our hearing to make an appointment. We say no, the problem is you constantly calling us.
We had previously had an appointment and undergone a full hearing assessment- several years previously and been told we were borderline.
This time we go in , they know nothing about any previous visit, give us both a 30 second quick test, tell us both we need a full hearing test and then we leave.
Poorly managed and absolutely pointless.
You should have known about our previous history (same location).
To be fair the people we met were fine, it’s clearly your systems!

Professional, friendly and helpful

Only reason not 5 stars is earlier longer appointment meant running late. However told immediately on arrival and everything else professional, friendly and helpful as usual. Hearing aids superb and changes in hearing explained clearly.
