Hidden Hearing Westbourne Bournemouth

From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted by a lady with a lovely smile and very calming manor who offered me a seat and which I was not expecting she said would you like a cup of tea or coffee and help yourself to some cake while you are waiting for your hearing appointment, such a lovely touch, then a man came out and showed me into the room for my hearing appointment, he was very professional and kind, answering all my questions and really new what he was talking about, a true professional, the whole experience with this company was outstanding, If I could give more than a five star review I would, I will definitely be recommending Hidden Hearing to everyone,thank you so much Chris Scott a very happy customer

Victoria is very nice & very efficient…

Victoria is very nice & very efficient but your admin is poor. I do not need several texts & emails to remind me of my appointment. I have also had problems in the past with different employees telling me different information. Also, as we have a domiciliary visit if the person is running late it would be helpful if they mad a quick phone call to advise what time they will be arriving.

Staff are excellent Sam and Victoria but....

Staff are excellent Sam and Victoria. But disappointed to learn that expensive inner ear aids really have a life expectancy of three to five years and over the ear aids are now much better, preferred choice. On that basis over ear aids best considered for anyone buying aids in the future!

Deserve NO Stars. Mis sold Avoid Avoid Avoid

Gave one star only because i wasn’t able to give NIL stars. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled with Westbourne Dorset branch that I visited in March. Hard sell and the male Audiologist didn’t even look in my ears once during appointment. Already had opened box on desk with Intense 2 hearing aids he wanted to sell me. Didn’t show me available alternatives. I was hoodwinked and bought the hearing aids as seemed to improve my hearing while in the room. After first day and evening with these extremely expensive aids (£4850) a lump of wax came out with left aid. I put aids on charge overnight as instructed and next day the left one intermittently didn’t work. Took back on the Monday for refund after a weekend of discomfort and left hearing aid not working properly to be told I need to see another audiologist. Had to make another appointment for the following weds 13th March before I could have a refund which took another week. It was like running the gauntlet. Told her he never even looked in my ears she said he put on system he had. Then I told her he is a Liar!!! She then looked in my ears and said they have wax but wouldn’t affect the audiology test anyway. Demanded a refund as they were uncomfortable and didn’t work properly and felt I was mis sold. Got second opinion at Specsavers where they vacuumed a lot of wax out of both ears. The audiologist there said they were both fully blocked and an audiology’s test would not have be done until they are cleared of wax. I now hear perfectly well. I then booked another hearing test as a precaution with the audiologist again at Specsavers in Poole. After having the audiology test was told hearing although there is slight loss on high end hearing this was age related as I am 71 but my hearing was ok at this level of loss and didn’t require hearing aids after all. So I am totally disgusted at the hard sell by Hidden Hearing Westbourne along with the lack of professionalism and appalled that they tried to make money with false testing. How many other people are walking around with hearing aids they didn’t actually need. How can they live with themselves. Avoid these people like the plague go to Specsavers, Boots or any other hearing centre and not these sharks, !!!!

UPDATE:
No way to reply on Trustpilot to the usual pathetic generic response from Hidden Hearing which they put to any low star reviews looking at the past reviews. I put the branch in question on my review so to say I’m anonymous is ridiculous as I never hid my name or branch concerned. If Hidden Hearing really wanted to touch base with me to discuss their complete lack of professionalism then you would think they would contact Westbourne Branch to investigate and get my contact details from them wouldn’t you. I will be emailing them to respond and personally tell them of their failings.

Tinnitus help…

Suffering with tinnitus & I thought that there was no cure, well how wrong was I! The team at hidden hearing were informative & professional throughout the process of fitting my hearing aids. My tinnitus no longer affects my daily living & as I learnt that tinnitus is directly linked to dementia, & brain health sometimes gets overlooked, this I feel is an insurance policy for my future.
Thankyou to the hidden hearing team, an extremely professional company.

A worthwhile expense

The clinic in estbourne has always been most helpful. The annual check up was thorough and there was no change and no extra expense.

Amazing service

This. Company looks after everybody equally. Collection from home to their premises. Uncrowded premises. After hearing tests, etc. a taxi back home using a quality company.
Good old fashioned all round service.

Hearing is believing!

A chance conversation with a friend recommended Hidden Hearing in Westbourne nr Bournemouth having heard about how the latest hearing aids could help both hearing and also help with tinnitus. My husband is an engineer and very sceptical of such claims but nevertheless agreed to an appointment. The test clearly showed his loss of hearing especially in the higher frequency range. The treble on the soundbar was always on high so this was no surprise to me.
Paul and Victoria were great in explaining how hearing aids could lessen the impact of tinnitus through vastly improving the hearing range. The improvement in his hearing was instant however the tinnitus reduction took a few weeks as the brain adjusts to hearing frequencies not heard for years.
It's been six months and we have found the aftercare superb and the no interest six months to pay helpful.
Hidden Hearing wasn't the only place we visited before deciding who to decide on purchasing from but so pleased we chose HH.

Went this week for my annual check up…

Went this week for my annual check up at Westbourne and the service was excellent. Victoria was very professional and answered all of my questions. Added the Music feature to my Hearing Aids and that was really worth doing.
I findHidden Hearing a very professional company and would recommend them. Bill
