I had an appointment @hiddenhearing, for my dad who had been struggling for years with his NHS hearing aid aged 82.0. Within the first appointment we felt instantly supported! We left with two hearing aids with the offer of support and guidance and agreed to meet back in two weeks. The difference in my dad within these two weeks would take up all this space! I would recommend “Hidden hearing” in a blink, so much so my mum is booked for next week! They not only supported my dad, but gave advice as a family of how we can follow on the support with my dad hearing loss which was excellent!

I had my hearing test with Paul Jepson at the Newcastle branch of Hidden Hearing. As a 44 year old woman I was a little reluctant to have a hearing test as apprehensive what the results would show at my age but I knew acknowledging any issue earlier would be the best thing to do. Paul made me feel very comfortable and explained first and foremost should I need hearing aids not to worry as what’s on the market now are almost undetectable if that’s of concern. Paul has a passion for his work and care for his patients which is clear to see, he explained each part of the test along the way, including sharing some interesting knowledge on our ears and how they work. I’m so glad I went and left happy knowing my ears are clean and hearing is perfect, my husband does really just mumble :-)

Having previously been fitted with hearing aids via NHS and High St retailers which never really worked for me, I was reluctant to try again but was pressured by my wife to try “something else” as she was fed up with telling me to “turn the sound down” whenever we watched tv. I subsequently booked an appointment at the Newcastle branch of Hidden Hearing and I am so pleased that I did. I am delighted with the “in the ear” hearing aid which,when I’m wearing it, I forget that it’s there, unlike any of the other hearing aids I’ve had. Also, the consultant, Paul Jepson was exceptional with a caring and humorous attitude which made the consultations informative and easy to have.

Accompanied my mum to her follow up appointment today with Paul at the Newcastle branch. My sister and I had been concerned that she might be rushing into an expense for little gain. However she has had her aids for about 10 days now and has found an amazing difference. She has been able to turn her TV volume down dramatically and was able to follow a conversation with 3 other people in the car and just generally can hear much better.
Paul answered all my questions and we are now confident mum has made a good purchase.

I decided to get my hearing tested, the young lady who visited me, Niamh Lendrum, was a pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient, person who answered questions asked with clarity.

Very professional service. This company have a much more thorough procedure than I've had from places previously. They took before and after pictures of inside the ear to show what was done. The procedure was successful and I felt safe throughout. I would definitely recommend.

I visited the Newcastle branch for an ear wax removal procedure - the wax had built up over 18 months and was really stubborn to remove. Staff were lovely and very professional and I am happy to recommend without hesitation

I have had a few different ear wax removal experiences with NHS and Boots. This experience has to be the most friendly, professional and best service of all. Jo, the ear care practitioner, made this better with great knowledge of the process and brilliant after care which really calmed any concerns if I had any. Also like the hearing sound test at the end too. I would definitely recommend Jo and this company to any one with similar ear issues.

My right ear became completely blocked with wax, probably due to having started wearing hearing aids a few months ago. I made an appointment with Jo Thompson of Hidden Hearing on Westgate Road Newcastle after my doctors' failed to contact me with a date for its ear wax removal service. I got an appointment with Jo the next day. She made some checks on my hearing and examined both ears before clearing the left ear completely (it also was found to have a wax build-up). The right ear was more of a problem and I had to return a week later after using some more earol oil. The wax was completely removed at this appointment and was all done within the one original payment. Jo gave me some useful tips for the future and I left very pleased with the service I'd had.

Amazing Jo was very professional pleasant and explained step by step what was happening . Had to have a 2nd appointment which was as pleasant as the first . Highly recommend .

I had my ear wax removed at Newcastle. They made me feel very welcome offering coffee/ tea while I waited the procedure was pleasant . The lady made me feel very at ease . She was friendly and explained everything . Also I had to return a 2nd time which was as pleasant as the first . Top notch service highly recommend.
