I was more than impressed with the service I received at Hidden Hearing Newcastle upon Tyne.

I had been experiencing problems with my hearing in both ears & after being diagnosed with an ear infection, I was advised by my Doctor to have the wax removed.

I contacted Hidden Hearing, the helpful advisor booked me in for 16th June 2022.
I was greeted by Jo, an Ear Care Practitioner. Jo explained in detail the whole procedure with great care & professionalism.

Jo cleared my ear using a micro suction device, which is completely painless & a much better process than the old ear syringing.

Jo advised to return the following week due to still having redness from the ear infection. I duly returned the following week to have the remaining wax removed & left happy & fully hearing.

Was a bit unsure at first when I first visited but that quickly disappeared once everything was clearly explained. Never through out the process did I feel pressured either. I was tested given the results given my options and was told to ring back should I want to proceed.
I am so glad I did as the results in my standard of life have improved so much even to the point my long suffering Wife no longer had to repeat herself every time she talks to me. At work too I now don’t feel embarrassed at having to ask everyone to repeat themselves. I no longer have to have to TV up loud to the point it’s uncomfortable for my wife the list goes on, even when my Wife shouts from upstairs I now can hear down stairs, the only thing now is that I can not use selective deafness as an excuse anymore lol.
I got to see Paul at the Newcastle branch and he really can’t do enough for you he is so patient and very knowledgeable and totally puts you at ease.
If you have any doubts don’t they treat you with respect and make everything totally transparent so no hidden surprises will come out and bite you in the bum.
From my experiences in side the shop and outside I most definitely recommend them and if in Newcastle asked for Paul

I had an ear wax removal with Jo. She was lovely - talked me through the procedure and made me feel very comfortable. The removal was definitely worth it, she shown me the pictures of before and after and I couldn’t believe the results. Would definitely recommend and is certainly worth the price.

I was looked after by Jo Thompson for ear wax removal. She was great. The procedure was quick, well explained and most importantly I can hear again.

My ears were badly blocked so needed them looked at. Was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. Jo the ear care practitioner was very friendly and knowledgeable and put me at ease straight away. The procedure was quick and without fuss. Both my ears were cleared and it was such a relief to be able to hear properly again.
Would highly recommend this place if you are in need of earwax removal.

My mam has had terrible trouble with wax build up in both ears causing discomfort and deafness. My mam said she found hidden hearing Newcastle online made a quick appointment. Jo was amazing in fact all the staff were so lovely. Jo managed to clear both my ears and gave me advise on what to do and how to care for myself in the future. Recently just visited the Newcastle clinic as I was getting intense unbearable pain due to a blockage in my ear, I had my ear assessed by jo who was so lovely and relaxed me through out everything, jo advised me to get a wax removal which I went ahead with I needed two appointments for this as needed the drops they provided for a few days before hand but they fitted me in straight away and within two days I was totally relieved of pain and was shocked at the amount of build up of skin and wax that had came out as I thought cleaning my ears daily with Cotton buds was enough( never again) Marie the receptionist was so lovely and fitted me in on such short notice. Lovely staff would definitely recommend and be visiting again. Thanks again ☺️

I went for a wax removal appointment. The lady who did it was very good, friendly and clearly explained what was going to happen. She also gave useful advice for looking after the ears after the appointment.

Fantastic and insightful service, I really feel like I’ve paid for more than just my hearing aids. As someone who has had NHS hearing aids, the difference is not only incredible, but well worth the cost too. Arguably the best, and most life changing, thing I’ve ever bought. Most people are shocked to hear I wear them too because they’re so discreet.
