BEWARE -YOU CAN NEVER CANCEL

BEWARE -YOU CAN NEVER CANCEL
I joined audiobook 15 months ago and only ordered one book. I have tried to cancel twice to no avail. Both times I was told it was taken care of. NOT TRUE

If anyone knows how to get them to cancel please post because nothing has worked to date.

SCAM SITE

SCAM SITE - these guys are dodgy

At no point are you ever made aware that you are entering a monthly subscription as they sneak money out of your account.

Don't expect anyone to reply to your emails either

Plenty of book choices

You can find books on this site you can't on others, I only discontinued using them as you don't get a free book per month like Audible and other book apps.

In fact, the exact response provided by our team was: "Just so you know, per our terms and conditions, FlexPass membership fees are non-refundable."

Regarding your concern about being charged after canceling your subscription, I want to assure you that our system is designed to cease charging customers immediately upon cancellation. The response you received from our customer service team reflects this: "I have confirmed your FlexPass membership is canceled, so rest assured you won’t receive any further charges unless you purchase a new book or reactivate."

We reached out to you via email yesterday to address your concerns further. If you could kindly respond to the same email, we would appreciate the opportunity to assist you promptly.

Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.

I ordered/payed for book to be released…

I ordered/payed for book to be released on 2-27-24, and 4 days later have not received the book. Also downloaded their app. 4 days after download app would not open on my iphone.

Early on they offered to cancel and refund my purchase price. Finally, 4 days later, I tried to contact them for cancel and refund, and so far, no reply.

I’ve now ordered from a competitor. Competitor purchase to download was about 2 minutes.

This is a scam

This is a scam! The business is unscrupulous and they will steal from you. I have been trying to get a refund but I’m only getting stonewalled by a customer service representative named Tarah. This is the worst app ever for audiobooks. Books are overpriced as compared to audible and audiobooks. They deduct money monthly from your account but you don’t get a book- they claim it’s for discounts but it’s made redundant by the fact that even with said discounts their books are more expensive. I have been trying to get a refund as I didn’t consent to the deductions, to no avail. I strongly warn people against using this book store.

This program offers a subscription-based model tailored for frequent audiobook consumers, allowing them to access audiobooks at discounted rates. As a result, you were able to enjoy the audiobook at a discounted rate rather than the non-member price.

As the Flexpass membership operates on a subscription basis, a subsequent charge was applied in the following month.

Will not use again

I didn’t find the site clear to understand and navigate, accidentally purchased a membership. When I let them know the lack of flexibility around conditions was not great customer service. When I escalated the matter they did provide a $10 credit as a courtesy.

They stole my money

My wife accidentally purchased our son's Christmas gift from this site thinking it was a site that offered physical books. He does not ever use audio books, and we knew that. When I asked for a refund of the gift certificate they refused to refund my money so I could purchase a book elsewhere. My wife and I are older and not too computer savvy. I am very disappointed in a vendor who would do such a thing. We live on Social Security alone and now don't have the funds to give our son another gift.

Amazing customer service

I rarely wrote reviews but felt compelled to after the great service i received. My boyfriend bought me a gift certificate for audiobookstore.com. I downloaded the app but it wouldn't launch. After writing a review I was contacted ON CHRISTMAS DAY by customer service. He was amazing, listened to what happened and did some trouble shooting as best we could. By 10am the next morning it was fixed and I was searching through thousands of titles and making my wish list. I've tried other audio book services but this is my favorite by far. There are so many more books that I couldn't find on the other app and so much diversity. I highly recommend audiobookstore.com.

No problems.

I have had no problems with audiobook store. I read the different options before signing up, and chose Flexi pass. I like audio bookstore because it has books that I can't access on another site I also use. All my dealings with Customer service have been good.

THIEVES

This company charges a sneaky monthly membership for NOTHING. Once you buy an audio book they automatically start charging a monthly fee.
What a joke!
I got my bank to get the two monthly amounts back so audio book store suspended my account so I can't access the three audio books I'd purchased.
ABSOLUTE THIEVES I HOPE YOU GUYS GET SHUT DOWN.
