Ryan was brilliant from the start he…

Ryan was brilliant from the start he called 30 minutes prior to arrival when he arrived he was very polite and informed me of the process that they carry out, within a little over an hour Ryan came and informed me of advisories that need to be addressed and how to avoid the Dpf re-blocking in the future. He also left a couple of extra items which he helped guide me through the process of installing on my phone and how to use the additive.

Thank you Auto assist/ DPF specialist would definitely recommend you to friends and family.

Brilliant service from the company

The technician named Craig was absolutely brilliant, he came and conducted the DPF clean. He was friendly and very informative and has left me feeling reassured and confident with the process. I would definitely recommend and use this company again.

Cowboys they do not uphold their…

Cowboys they do not uphold their warranties the technician arrived 2 hours late.. I had a dpf Diagnostics and I was told that it needed to be cleaned which I went ahead with the service which was not what I expected. I thought it was being cleaned under a pressurised system this was not the case but I was assured it was sufficient and given a two month warranty and after-care instructions two weeks after the work was carried out. Light back on same fault codes. Call to activate the warranty and I’m being told that there must be some underlying issue and it would need to go into a workshop to be diagnosed £400 later I’m in the same position I was before having auto assist group out to my vehicle please do not waste your money with this company!

Terrible

Extremely poor

I had a blocked DPF filter on a Range Rover Sport, they charged £400 to clean it and said the underlying cause was NOx sensor fault and throttle body, they then charged £1600 to fix these. Less than 2 months later we are having DPF issues again. After complaining and raising the complaint to senior management they are saying it is nothing to do with them and that these are different problems and we must get the car in again.

I've paid them £2000 and still got problems, they've done nothing to fix the issue. I would not recommend Auto Assist Group to anyone.

Caused fault, refused to fix

I had Auto Assist out to sort a DPF fault. They identified another issue, which they quoted me for and I accepted. They cancelled the day before, came a day late. When I turned the car on after they'd been this second time, I had 6 fault warnings. I finally convinced them to come out and look, and they've refused to acknowledge any responsibility despite the faults being new, and the last person to have touched the car before them to have been their engineer.

I would recommend avoiding them like the plague. It's expensive, the customer service is like talking to robots, and god forbid they do any damage to your car, you'll have to pay more elsewhere to fix it.

Will not uphold warranty despite paying premium

The engineer was very pleasant and informative in regard to aftercare.
I fortunately within a short time the pdf blockage made driving impossible again despite following advise.
I had paid for the premium service as advised to ensure I had a long warranty.
Auto assist are yet to sort the issue and I very much doubt they will uphold the warranty.
This is a work vehicle which means I am losing income while it is off the road.

Professional spot on service

Ordering online is easy. The technician Craig came out prompt and gave me a specific two hours window. He arrived on time and was incredibly professional and polite. Craig had a wealth of knowledge relating to my particular vehicle. It was very much appreciated and he gave me some advice going forwards will be looking to book these guys in in the future. Thank you very much.

Yes not great

Yes not great. Engine management light on, man cane and cleaned filter for £300. Light back on a fee days later, chased, told I need a new pressure sensor, quote would be sent, waited no quote. Chased again told was sent checked emails and spam. Requested again. Still nothing. Pretty shitty customer service.
