The QRCode provided to return the vehicle was very helpful because l returned the to the car park with ease no need to watch out for signs and entrances. The vehicle was very econmic as well.

I would warn against the company AUTOVIA. I returned the car over a month ago and still haven't received the refund of my €250 deposit. I returned the vehicle in impeccable condition, yet I still didn't get the deposit back. I also want to warn others that they pressure customers into buying additional, very expensive insurance. It is a bad company.

we are sorry for the concern caused by the delay in releasing your €250 deposit.
If the vehicle was returned without issues, the pre-authorization is normally released after the return checks, but the time needed for the amount to become available again can also depend on the bank or card circuit.
We are also sorry that the additional protection offered at the desk felt too expensive or pressuring. These products are optional and should always be explained clearly before acceptance.
If the amount is still blocked after more than a month, please contact customercare@autovia.it with your booking details so the situation can be checked.

To confirm exactly what this amount refers to, we need to check the documentation related to your specific rental. Please contact us at customercare@autovia.it and include your booking details so that our team can review the case.
Regarding the €350, if this is the security deposit, it is normally held as a pre-authorisation rather than a final charge. Autovia releases the pre-authorisation after the rental has ended and the required checks have been completed. The time it takes for the amount to become available again then depends on the card issuer and banking circuit.
We also apologise for the delay in replying to your previous message.

we are sorry for the difficulties you experienced both at collection in Bari and at return in Naples.
We regret the delay in receiving the vehicle and the fact that, according to your account, you had to accept a car with existing damage because the office was close to closing. Any pre-existing damage should be correctly recorded at collection.
Regarding the fuel charge, the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at collection. Since you state that you refuelled immediately before returning the car, the charge should correspond to the fuel level actually recorded at return.
We are also sorry that the assistance you received at both locations did not meet your expectations.
