We rented a car through Autovia for…
We rented a car through Autovia for five days and were very pleased with it. We were upgraded from an Opel Corsa to a BYD SUV, which was quite an experience to drive. This is because we don't have a credit card, and then you'd have to pay double the deposit. We've learned that having a credit card is a good idea in this case.

This company are Thieves
This company are Thieves! Be sure, if you don't take a Full Insurance(they also has something "in the middle"), they will charge you for nothing! We didn't have any accident but after a few days we've received an e-mail about small scratch on a car so they we'll take for that 450eur.!!! The only fault we've made - we didn't read the comments before and refused to take a Full Extra Insurance. And now have to pay for something we didn't do...

Good car, better company information
The car was great.
On my booking confirmation was written the company "auto europe" and "ecovia".
I couldn't find the desk for piking up my rental car because on the signs in the terminal it's only written "autovia". The logo "Ecovia" you can find only at waist height and you can't see it, if people are waiting in a line and cover up the sign. It's not obviously and I don't know that "ecovia" and "autovia" is one company above all one has a green logo and one has a red logo.
It should be clearly written in the terminal or at the booking confirmation. I was searching the desk also outside and first thing I thought, i need to change to another building.

It was a very good service and a great…
It was a very good service and a great car VW which we hired.
However getting the vechile at the beginning took ages with only 1 member of staff working then after a while a second member joined!
Not ideal when my planned was already delayed for nearly 5 hours, so all we wanted to do was get the car and get to our hotel.
Plus, the langue barrier was also a struggle but I guess that’s my fault as my Italian is not great.

A SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
First of all, we paid for a Fiat 500 (or similar). The car we received was an old, clunky Hyundai which had so much wear and tear, no screen, no way to connect our music. The photos of the Fiat was modern and not in the same category as the car we received.
More importantly, we were charged 300E after returning home for "damages". When we responded to the email stating that we had photos and videos proving we did not incur any damages, they just responded saying if we don't pay them in 7 days they will charge our credit card. I had read reviews like this before renting the car, and I decided to ignore them. MISTAKE! I have cancelled my credit card but this has been a headache and a hassle. Worth paying slightly more to avoid Autovia!!!!!

Had a really good experience
Had a really good experience with this company. Pick-up was quick and hassle-free, staff were friendly and got me sorted fast. The car itself was in excellent condition - clean and drove well throughout my trip.
Return process was just as smooth, no issues at all. I went with the full insurance which gave me peace of mind, especially since I was driving in an unfamiliar area.
Would definitely use them again for future rentals. Good value and reliable service.

Best car rental ever!!!
I was a little scared because of some negative feedback here, but I was/am so happy with my car rental. From pickup to giving the car back everything was super easy. We had a brand new car loved it. Rental office is right after baggage claim inside the terminal, and car is just outside a few feet away. Will rent here again definitely 😊
