The clerk pretended my creditcard´s PIN not to be correct. Only possible solution: I had to pay 300€ on top. At home I consulted my bank for this problem, why they had sent my new credit card with a new PIN.It turned out that the whole story was invented, obviously only for the purpose to charge 300 more euros.When I complained later, they promised to resolve the whole problem. But nothing happened until today - more than 10 months later.
NEVER AGAIN AUTOVIA!!!

I strongly advise against any rental. A CREDIT card, not a debit card, is required for rental. Reservations can be made however even in cash. But then you have to present the credit card
To cancel you have to contact by email, of course you can forget about a refund. You will get a voucher to use later, both for the car and the insurance, which is already heavily fraudulent, because at least for the insurance there should be a refund. Unfortunately, I only found out about this information on the spot. And unfortunately I was not the only one. In my case I lost out in a few days' time, but in front of me and behind me I saw whole families renting for a week. I have no idea how much they must have lost in the same way.
Who else uses credit cards these days!

1 star for customer service answering their emails quickly, 0 stars for literally every other aspect of this company. Worst car rental experience ever. Stay away if you want to keep your sanity, and your money.

Car rental agreement was cancelled without any notice. Upon arrive at the rental desk no help offered, only the option to book another car for 2-3x the original price. They have horrible customer service, would not recommend hiring with Autovia!

Must apologies . I cant remember names of the staff on our visit. Brilliant customer service . .really easy to organise at the desk. Car ready straight forward car filled return full ,etc. Child seat in the car and off we went fro a 10 day hire. Same as return process easy , friendly service . Thanks so much. !!

There weren't any problems. Everything went smoothly.

Very good, we were upgraded to a nice car. Check-in and check-out was very fast and easy and we found the car hire place okay, we never had to wait long for the regular coach to pick us up.

Be aware when you pick the car up though that even if you list both drivers in advance, the one you list first will have to be the one who has the credit card. I had several on me and we still had to pay a fee just to change myself to first driver.

We need to pay more than expected....
Be careful, if you don't have a "credit" card....
It is not normal BUT you don't have the choice if you want to confirm your booking.
It was the first AND last time with autovia !!!

This was the most efficient car rental experience I have ever had. The person who greeted us was friendly and efficient, the car was impeccable and the return service was quick and easy. If you happen to be flying into Cagliari airport as we did, just follow signs out of the main building to 'Rent A Car'. You will find all the car rental companies in one easy building with a great cafe outside so the people you are travelling with can relax and have a coffee while you are picking up the keys. I will definitely use Autovia again!

Very good quality of the car and service. Only drawback was the fuss made about the wheel rims during check-in. Although we had full insurance, the wheel rims were apparently not included in the coverage.

I've got a new car, which I've enjoyed much.
Service was excellent, when I've got it (needed to wait until the staff arrived at the counter. Could not reach anyone on the phone).

Car was better than I expected. Actually ordered ford fiesta and I got Seat Arona in same prise! Clean car and all went fine. Really nice service at Cagliari airport.
