Very nice and quick service!! Nearly no waiting time!

Excellent, helpful, courteous staff. No line at pick up at Fiumicino airport. Audi A4 wagon was in perfect condition. Only difficulty was returning the car Afterhours at the train station in Rome, you have to walk very far to another car park for the key box drop….on the 4th floor. Very inefficient.

Great customer service at Fiumicino airport....accomodating and friendly.

The car rental was smooth and easy, but the car was not yet ready when we came to pick it up. It was still being cleaned. What they did not do was to fill up the water for the window washer. There was no explanation for the apple car play device.
The return also was smooth and easy.

when we picked up your car, the fuel was 3/4 filled.

We left the car with full tank . So what can we do.
we would like get some money back for 1/4 tank.

Efficient staff & rapid service. Car was clean & comfortable. ( Small problem - unable to reset tyre warning light despite normal tyre pressures)

I booked via booking, a car for a week. When i reached their booth in Rome Fiumincino airport, I was asked to submit 2 credit cards in order to get charged 1200 from each card for the insurance(toral 2400euros). Of course I didnt have with me 2 credit cards, and nowhere was mentioned that 2 cards are required.The alternative they gave me was to pay an extra 483 euro on top of the price which I already paid, non refundable in order to give me the contract and the car. The lady who serviced me was not polite at all and she was almost offensive. She told me that I cannot have a refund since I have to do a cancelation 48 hrs before.I didnt take a car in the end and left the booth. They ruined my holiday.....

Very easy to pick up the car.And we had it for a Week in rome Absolutely.Love driving it and very reasonable price.When we come back to italy , we will be renching again

We asked for another car (the seats in a fiat 500 aren't comfortable) and get a Seat Arona with a Methan-Engine. This car was comfortable and very economic. This was our first experience with such a car and we were very satisfied - Thank you! The personal there is customer oriented and fast - Bravi!

Autovia car rental Rome airport Fiumiciono.Horrible experience altogether, the check out condition of the car not done properly, we found another 2 damages to add on list, but the check in was more than FORENSIC, including finally finding a small red mark on the tyre and a tiny chip, quasi impossible to see with a naked eye on the windscreen. Not responsible for either, but alas as barely visible we failed to spot them when taking the car out in a dark covered airport parking and add to the other , "unnoticed" by Autovia staff, damages. The person doing the contract spent 30 minutes trying to make us pay €140 for an extra insurance, we declined having excess insurance already but now I understand how they make the money - pay insurance extra or pay for damages as cars are not checked properly by them when taken out but are checked at length for the smallest thing when brought back. Charged €240 despite contesting with their customer service and supplying the proof of the car's condition not having been checked properly before we took it (rental for 48 hours and the car was parked securely in the garden most of this time). They also included immediately in their first letter the advice for me to claim against my excess insurance !! Not trustworthy.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
At checkin we wanted to change the primary driver but they could not/didn’t want to do that due to that they claimed that we should talk to the broker we made the reservation at. We made the reservation on YOUR WEBSITE and still you can’t help us! They also claim that the insurance on their site isn’t theirs and tried to sell us another one at the desk. Also they rent cars fueled with nitrogen (CNG) without telling us before. There are like none gas stations that provide that fuel south of Rome which made our friends to fuel up the 10 litre reserve petrol tank everywhere. This is the nightmare of car rentals. Avoid at all cost!

Worst company ever!!! Got a flat and was told by driver of tow truck that he could not tow me to nearby town only 3 miles away due to no authorized repair shop for Autovia there so, get towed as reguested by Autovia to a shop a little more than 2 hours away! Now being late afternoon, can't get repaired till next day. The next morning, got call from shop and says they have no agreement with Autovia anymore for a while and now,towed again for over 3 hours always in opposite direction to Bari. Was charged over $500 for towing due to Autovia's mistake. They never responded to my emails. Contacted Italian Consumer Affairs and won case for refund but, still Autovia has not pais what it owes me and continue still to not respond to my requests for what they owe!!! They are the worst!!They were over a year ago at a 1 star rating and know 3 stars thanks to the fake positive comments that Autovia posts to improve their ratings! How deplorable!!! They should be shut down!

Do not trust the price! This company is a trap! Whrn you rent the car, you think you’re paying for the cheapest, but when you got in the box to get the car keys they charge you at least more 100,00 EUR for the insurance. They want to deceive you and make you think you hot the best price when you are doing the rent before your trip. DO NOT TRUST THE PRICE!

AUTOVIA RENT-A-CAR ABUSES CUSTOMERS, Scam ROBBERY - don’t book you be sorry. Someone called the Police and we were in line for two hours , then our turn come and we had card and license issues .
We had booked and fully paid for the car for 6 days. Us and every other couples in line at Rome Fiumicino Airport had problems, when they won’t accept your card and force you to buy their crazy expensive insurance. (4 times the price of the car rental btw).
READ ALL OTHER BAD REVIEWS IT IS ALL TRUE.
They will take lots of money for damages on vehicle.
They will take money for speed fines not existing.
If you late your car is not available but they will have similar car but much more expensive for you. DODGY

I arranged car hire via easyJet/Cartrawler from the UK. On arrival at the desk Autovia could not supply the car on my voucher Fiat Panda or similar small car. The desk clerk offered me a small car run on methane/metano which she informed me I would have difficulty refuelling or a VW T-roc. I declined both and after arguing with the clerk and it being late in the evening I felt pressured to take the VW and pay the extra. Autovia charged me 150 euros for an upgrade which I did not want. I contacted Cartrawler the next day to complain. I have subsequently spent weeks trying to get my money back. I have been through 5 investigations by Cartrawler. The last investigation folowing consultation with Autovia I was told that I chose the T-roc after being offered 2 other free upgrades that I declined. This is absolutely untrue. I am now writing to the CEO of Cartrawler. I cancelled my last car hire and booked with Italy car rent. On arrival at the desk the same thing happened. They apologised for not having the car on the voucher and offered me a free upgrade. This is how customers should be treated.

They sent me a fake attached payment on 22nd to confirm that they already sent the money back but sense then i haven’t received it never again
