If I ordered a Japanese or Korean car, I want to get exactly that, not a European one!

The waiting by the picking up of the car was unbearable. Car was fine and delivering car back was no problem.
If you reduce de waiting time for de pick up,then you get 5 stars

Rental car with previous damages on all sides! Scratches, dents, holes. Good thing I photographed and filmed everything.
The car was not clean, either on the inside or the outside. The tires were not inflated properly and the brakes were squeaking. The car was clearly not cared for and in an actually unacceptable condition, but in Naples all the cars on the road had damages.
No recommendation.

The treatment was despicable.
They gave us a car that was not the one we had hired, with a multitude of damages.
They blocked our deposit because they told us that we had scratched it. Not only that, they did not send us the necessary documents so that we could ask our insurance to take care of the payment.
In other words, despite having paid for insurance, we cannot use it because they do not provide us with any type of document.
AUTOVIA is without a doubt the worst car rental company I have dealt with in Europe.
I do not recommend it at all.

As the rental car was no longer roadworthy after one day because the breaking fluid was low and had to be towed away, we had to drive back to Autovia to pick up a new rental car. Of course we were upset, because such damage could have been avoided if the car had been properly inspected.
We were promised that we would be reimbursed for the taxi costs incurred, as the damage wasn’t our fault. Until today
unfortunately nothing has been refunded and emails are not being responded to. I am very annoyed and would definitely not recommend such a dubious company to anyone.

This company is a scam - they will rob you right after you deliver the car back
Even car conditions are very bad - we tried them in Napoli, please stay away from this company!

Easy car delivery, new car, friendliness can be improved

Good people and fast service both at the counter and in the parking lot.

We started off on our journey and after 15km the warning light on the oil gauge came up. At the garage it turned out the oil level was dangerously low. We had to pay for the oil ourselves and this was not refunded by Autovia.
On top of that I have to admit that I hadn't maybe read the smallprint and didn't realise I couldn't pay with Visa debit, so this forced me to pay the very expensive all-inclusive insurance cover. Not a happy moment, when you've just arrived in a foreign country.

Greate service, short at rental and at return by employees.
However, please hire more employees. I had to wait long time at rental point since there was only one person to serve about 10.

Found the staff in both Naples (collect) and Brindisi (drop off) extremely helpful and friendly. Good quality car too

Except for the shuttles from the airport to the autovia desk that was outside of the airport that we needed to call autovia to pick us up from the airport, everything passed very well.
at the car return, autovia moved to the main rental car area at the airport which was fantastic.

On collection of the car which was perfect and nearly new, the staff member told us we had no insurance even though we did have ( all ticked as included on our holiday autos document ) staff member tried to charge us e300 more on top of what was already paid. He was very pushy and aggressive. We refused , signed the document and drove off . We then pulled over after calming down after this encounter and took a pic of the mileage and the car and boot , there was no spare tyre in the boot . !!!
On return of the car they told us the spare tyre and kit was missing , we have photos on initial collection of the car of the boot with no spare in it !!! We are ready to challenge any extra charges !

Staff at Naples office friendly and helpful. Vehicle high spec. Only reason not 5 star is frequency of shuttle bus from Naples airport to rental office. There was a lengthy queue and were told that bus was not that frequent and only took 6 people at a time. We ended up paying 20 euros to get a taxi for 4 of us to avoid a long wait in the heat.

I would never rent a car here.
Why? They not even TRY to sell an insurance for nearly €500 a week but they say that you HAVE TO. It is a shame that they do that. I was full insuranced but they said, thy does not count because this is Italy. SHAME ON YOU

Everything was fine, no problems, the car was great, we got upgraded to a much better one actually and enjoyed our trip. The staff was very polite.

Autovia was able to provide a vehicle when the car booked at an alternative provider (surprise) was unavailable. So with no booking and daylight hours diminishing Autovia assisted a number of distressed travellers with quality vehicles and thankfully did not price gouge.

Rented a car from Autovia through doyouitaly from Naples Airport. Both telephone numbers on email to request courtesy bus to depot were wrong. Had to get a taxi and caught office as it was closing. Car allocated was Opel Corsa with 66000kms. Staff left depot before I could check car. Upon starting it an amber engine warning light came on. I then drove the car to our destination. A couple of days later the warning light turned red and car went into 'limp' mode making it unsafe to drive. I checked oil and found engine was almost empty. I contacted Autovia who told me to top up oil and invoice them or return to depot 1.5 hours away! I bought 2 litres of oil. Subsequently Autovia (and Doyouitaly) have refused to refund me. They have offered a discount on my next rental but I have no plans on returning to Italy.
Had I not put any oil in and continued to drive I'm sure a huge amount of expensive engine damage would have been caused. In hindsight I should've done that and let Autovia sort out a broken car. Also, how could such a poorly maintained and dangerous car be rent out in the 1st place? What maintenance if any do their cars have?

Addendum : November 2023. Autovia tried to make a fraudulent withdraw using my credit card.
