People are friendly and efficient

Good service, new rental car, good value for money, highly recommended.

When I got to the airport I called and they came very quickly. The documents didn't take long and I got a very good car. They were also very prompt when I left. This is the second time I've rented from them and it was better than the first time. Very kind and friendly staff.

Staff very friendly, made us feel at ease from the start. Very professional and helpful. Went above and beyond when dropping car off, as the took us to beach and picked us up later and took us to airport in the evening.

Pick up at airport on time, friendly staff, office not too far from airport with gas stations around. Car was very good at the best price possible.

The service was good, with a quick response to non-standard situations. However, as is common with rental companies, we booked one car but received a different one. The location is a bit far from the airport, but they provide a convenient shuttle service. In general all good :)

My United States driver's license was not accepted first of all and had to rebook a car using my friend's license which was four times the cost. Because they do not open until 8:00 a.m. we had to pay €60 to get to the airport with an Uber. They made no attempt to help us get to the airport or even allow us to leave the car at the airport with the keys in it. Overall for a 4-day rental the car cost over $400 that is outrageous. I would never ever use them again and I found them through Ryanair. I highly recommend you finding your own booking and making sure that they suit your needs. Very dissatisfied with this car rental agency

This company is fraud. It charged elevated fees for the minute marks that were already there and for the damage that ws made up. I was given a car with a faulty back door and l
later charged for the mark caused by the doors not closing correctly. Further made up damage from UNDER the dar was added. The do not follow the complaints procedures and nobody replies to official letters. Instead they keep on charging money from the card.

Excellent service! Very friendly and helpful agent. Easy and uncomplicated handover of the car and returning back the car. Car was in top condition and very clean. I would book again with Autovía Next time I m in Palermo.

Kind and helpful personnel (which is not that obvious at Palermo airport rental companies). Very clear explanations of the rules. Everything on time. Pleasant rental experience. We will use the services certainly again.

SCAM WARNING!! STAY AWAY!!

DO NOT rent from this company! Their initial price is very low but they find ways to charge you more than a normal car rental company without the benefit of having a fleet of nice cars and a location at the actual Palermo airport.

First they tried to charge us additional insurance fee that is more than the daily rental rate. We declined because we have our own comprehensive insurance.

Then they gave us a heavily dented and scratched car with the low tire pressure light on. We checked the dents and scratches against the diagram and took some photos.

When we returned the car, the rental agent spent 20 minutes inspecting the car to “find” damage. He even checked to see if the spare tire was in the trunk.

The agent finally found two small scratches (not dents) under the front bumper by feeling for them with his hands. They were not visible from outside the car unless you crawl under it. We are positive the scratches were there before but we couldn’t prove it because we didn’t document them. Who crawls under a car to check for damage during the initial inspection? I read the same thing happening to other customers on Trustpilot and Google Reviews.

We ended up paying for the “damage” of €320 because there is no way we could prove that the scratches weren’t there before and because we had a flight to catch.

We were on the airport shuttle with another family that also had been scammed by Autovia to pay for the unnecessary insurance they didn't need.

Their business model is to quote a very low price and then either coerce you to pay for additional expensive insurance or pay for “damage”.

I have never posted a Trustpilot review before but am livid about what happened. AVOID AT ALL COST.

We had a amazing experience with autovia in Palermo. We got hit by a young driver 5 minutes after getting our rental car which should have ruined our trip. Lucky no one was hurt but the car was badly damaged. It was the first time ever that I purchased coverage through a rental company and I can say it was well worth it. The employees were quick to respond and had another car waiting for us when we got back to the office. The paperwork we filled out for the accident didn't take long and we were not charged anything for the new car. Also we ended up getting our deposits back because we weren't at fault for the accident. So we just paid for the insurance and the rental. It saved us close to €5000. But I cannot tell you enough how amazing the staff was at the rental office. Very professional and kind and quick to respond to everything. They made the entire process seamless and the least amount stressl that it could be. I would definitely recommend then to anyone renting a car in Palermo. Plus great rates!

Professional scammers avoid this company they must give there workers at the desk Professional scamming training.
Arrived at the location to collect car streight away there saying I'm not covered for protection after me telling them 6 times I took out full protection from uk ..because I didn't take there 180euro cover wen I dropped the car off few days later they accused me of scratching there alloy wheel so they would get a pay out but good thing I proved them wrong with a video I took of the car on collection. The wheel was already scratched .no apologies just attitude

This is a fraud company that has put into system to fraud car renters by claiming damages on the cars. They had noted that the back mirror was damage but not scratched. They claim it was scratched when we returned it. We claimed that they had to change the mirror anyway but they claimed new damage. A good way of getting paid two times for the same damage. They also added other damages. We had not taken any photos and they had our deposit so we had no chance arguing.

SCAM company!
They never have the car pre ordered when you arrive. Which means you have to upgrade to another and maybe even a "better" insurance is compulsary.
Our trip costed us 800 euro on top of the innitial price paid. While we waited when arrived another couple went thorugh the same routine. When we returned the car a week later we could hear another group having the same issue.
Dont use this company, they are greedy!
