We have recently had a complete kitchen replacement by Avanti. Only a small kitchen but that doesn't make it any less stressful! As an habitual "do it yourselfer" with very strict standards I admit to dreading the whole process! However, from the very start with Simon the designer, through numerous changes of mind and modifications to our design, through Alan the final surveyor, to the day the fitters came, we were treated with the utmost patience and courtesy. I need not have concerned myself because Darren the fitter and then Glen the tiler had work standards that were even stricter than my own.
The result is a new kitchen that, in truth, surpasses our own hopes and expectations.

My wife and I have recently used this Company for a Kitchen refurbishment. From Design through to completion their service has been excellent. The fitter was a superb workman who had a keen eye for detail and made some minor adjustments to deal with our physical capabilities. A couple of minor problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Overall we are extremely pleased with the finished result and have no hesitation in recommending the Company.

Excellent before sale experience and fitter was alright apart from sink drain leakage twice. Shower On the other hand is not central so you really have to be sticking at the door and turning to get washed. This should not happen and water pump is not working as used to with previous shower. So really shower less functional than before. After sale was poor and no real effort to rectify or check work done. Really disappointed and I would not be recommending Avanti to others or use them because of poor after service care.

13/12/2022. After this review I have been contacted from sales manager who addressed the issue raised above and shower was replaced which sorted out water pump pressure and function. Since this intervention I think it’s just fair to add this review. Thanks to Jonathan and Luke at Avanti. Although it took a few months but it’s sorted now.

Excellent service from the start of the design to the fitting of my wardrobes, would highly recommend. The fitters Roger and Gary arrived at the time arranged and work tirelessly to complete the job. Thank you.

Danny was great to work with. He designed something completely unique and modern - something we didnt even think of. Customer support was excellent, we installed it ourselves which was pretty straight forward when you know what you're doing. Quality cabinets and door fronts, draws are exceptional. Only slight flaw is the older style door hinges they supplied. Everything else is great, highly reccomend Danny. Oh, I would say that delivery using only 1 man to deliver a complete kitchen is below standard, morally and logistically as a result he had to rush meaning some cabinets had faint white scratches on luckily we manage to hide them. However fantastic kitchen, customer support and design. Price was by far the best over competitors even howdens!!

Got upside down door replaced,no mention of gaps in skirting or dent in floor.having read other Avanti reviews it depends on luck whether you get good service or not. Being accused of authorising the skirting too be cut short of units should warn customers not too pay full price until satisfied with the job.thanks for replacing door,

Big talk zero follow up I never even got a proper quote from them! Disgusted by this so called reputable company.

I’m so disappointed by this company their rep Carl came out to look at the work I wanted done (bathroom & kitchen), gave all the talk about what was possible, how they’d work, next steps etc. Sent their builder round to quote for the building side of the works, then I go to the showroom where he does the design quote for the kitchen only, I pick out my doors & counters etc, he does a computer design - I never got a copy of - and tells me he’ll be in touch to set up the bathroom quote - never heard from him again!!! I called and text only to be ignored. Absolutely shocking customer service- the irony is in the conversation we had where he told me he doesn’t stand for bad customer service and how wrong it it is!!! Joke.
The only decent person in the whole process was Steve their builder who came back to me with the building part of the costs as promised, and he doesn’t even work directly for Avanti, enough said!

What can I say apart from fantastic, beautiful showroom, the sales team are helpful and answered every question and gave fantastic
advice , excellent quote a very professional

I cannot praise Avanti enough, Danny our designer was first class, fantastic ideas to make our kitchen really work for us, at old Swinford store we saw our kitchen come to life, Danny is so creative and really knows how to get the most from a small space ( he even remembered my Birthday) we changed our mind about having the dishwasher fitted , Danny made that happen without any issue at all, my husband asked for a quote on Granite worktops , amazed by the price and these are awesome , Danny matched up stands and splash backs , whole kitchen looks brilliant
We had our site survey, this was great reassuring us that the electrics were all good, we had Paul as our fitter, he was perfect, made sure we were happy every step of the way, even after the job was done,
There were usual hiccups, dishwasher was no longer available , we now a better one at no extra cost to us, again sorted by Danny
All the work was carried professionally, without fuss, and we now have a perfect kitchen
Price was also on par with the level of work and quality of the finish, no complaints
My dogs also enjoyed the experience, lots of fuss from Paul

Just had a lovely new kitchen from Avanti. I am sure I could have paid a bit less elsewhere but the installation went very smoothly. The fitter (Steve) was excellent and co-ordinated all the other contractors efficiently. The salesman came up with several fresh ideas and having a surveyor to check before build eliminated any potential issues beforehand. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the lady (Angela) at the Merry Hill showroom was very helpful getting samples ahead of time to enable me to paint match! The whole process was pain-free and definitely an example of "getting what you pay for"

Got my kitchen done a month ago and still waiting on a door that wasn’t ordered to be fitted. Several items I asked for were not actioned like microwave on the wall. Left all the rubbish outside the house even though said several times I wanted it collected as don’t drive. Never provided splashback at the cooker or sink and assumed I would be doing this myself? I haven’t bought a kitchen before so assumed this was part of the price. The price in general doesn’t show how much everything costs just a total price. My kitchen is very small and for the £5k paid I would have expected the items not done to be done with that price. The only item I expected not to be done was the floor and this was all I was advised. I never once saw the drawings after original consultation and the fitter didn’t have these either so it went down as my word against what fitter was advised. Would not recommend and wished I had looked at other reviews more in depth before buying this. This is the Wishaw based one that I went through.

Great design by Danny, who came up with good ideas, to make the most of our small kitchen. Followed up by surveyors visit, which other companies don't always offer, who picked up on everything they needed to know for the fitter, pipes, meters etc. Fitter did a fantastic job, but I do have to say it was disappointing when we found that some off cuts etc, had been swept under the floor boards. Having said that, we were very very pleased. We just left him a key and he got on with it. All trades arrived as arranged, all very polite, helpful and efficient, and it was completed within 5 days. Quality very good. We did have an issue with costings when we changed the plan a bit, this was a bit of a headache, but it was eventually sorted out. I think we probably paid more than some companies would have charged, but from the horror stories I have heard, glad we chose Avanti as there was no stress, nothing missing, nothing wrong. The only thing I think could be a help is having units and fittings individually priced on the quote. Thanks to the team for a good job.

With quality units, fixtures and fittings - exactly what we imagined with some bespoke touches - and absolute, second to none customer service throughout our kitchen project.

Avanti and in particular Danny, have been fantastic. Danny guided us closely through the design and put forth great recommendations, which now installed are truly wonderful.

All subcontractors were very friendly and professional. Standard of installation is exceptional.

Overall, very pleased with our new kitchen and would commend Danny for his excellent design skills.

Danny helped us with our kitchen. Brilliant, we had 4 other companies that came to fully redesign a kitchen and they came back with replacement of what we had. Danny had vision and redesigned our kitchen. It is perfect with all essentials in the right workable place, he made good suggestions he also helped to put in the hidden utility room. The delivery was put out a little due to covid but we expected this. We had two little hiccups with delivery but these were put right brilliantly (A complaint handled well is always a plaudit). Our kitchen fitters were amazed with the quality of our cupboards. I would recommend these everytime - in fact I have to my son in laws family already.

I tried a few different kitchen companies including magnet, kitchen care and even B&Q. None made me feel valued as a customer or that they was listening to my needs. To be honest most gave quotes, without even asking simple questions. Like where is the stopcock, what's behind this panelled existing area.
I got the impression, they had a kitchen and would make it fit my house.
Didn't feel I was an individual or a valued would be customer..
My mum advised me to contact Avanti. It was 30 years ago but the company was amazing for her kitchen. I gave them a call and booked an appointment and Danny visited.
He rang me a few days before my original appointment asked if I was free. Luckily I was he came round.
First impression, he wanted to know what I needed my new kitchen vision to be. Making me feel like he wasn't just trying to slot an Avanti kitchen to fit my home. I finally decided on what I wanted for my kitchen and Danny then got to work and planned my dream kitchen.
An assessors appointment was booked next. Alan came with my original plan, helped me make minor tweaks and added a small breakfast bar area to my original plan.
Order placed. Felt it took ages for kitchen fitter to be booked in, but let's be honest everyone is doing home renovations post lockdowns. Paul did an amazing job and was real thoughtful during the fit. Kitchen was delivered on schedule and I can't praise the Paul the fitter enough.
Tiny issue with a small leak under the sink, I rang the kitchen fitter, Paul who arranged to come promptly. He rectified the issue quickly and without fuss.
The only problem I have is, delivery of my neff microwave single oven combi. It's out of stock, not the fault of Avatni. Neff are having problems either with parts or delivering to the UK. I can't find an equivalent oven anywhere on the internet. Hopefully should be delivered in about 4 weeks. But my new Neff single oven is great and easy to use.
Richard, my project manager at Avanti, is my contact point to follow up on this last item. I'll update review once microwave combi oven delivered and installed.
I would highly recommend Avanti and if you get to choose I'd recommend Danny the original sales/planner, the surveyor Alan, Paul the fitter and Richard the project manager.
Beginning to almost end, first class service.
Hopefully Neff get their act together and my kitchen will be complete soon.

This review is purely on Avanti Wishaw & how they let us down on every level. Failed to deliver the whole kitchen, failed to fit it correctly, failed to return calls & emails. They left us to have a difficult conversation with the fitter that wanted paying despite our kitchen been incomplete even though they knew many parts were missing & had told us to only pay the fitter once the kitchen is complete. Promised us time after time that those parts were ordered, but suppliers had let them down causing a delay. If the kitchen had been checked prior to delivery to us, as they said it should be, those missing parts would have been highlighted. The kitchen eventually took six weeks to finally complete. In the end the relationship with them broke down so much due to their severe lack of customer service skills, lack of communication & false promises that we had to contact an Avanti sight in England for help & support. I’m pleased to say tho that Malcolm Vaughan was a fantastic help to us & he dealt with Avanti Wishaw directly on our behalf & solved our issues. We sent Malcolm a full time line of events including photos, videos & dates of all unreturned calls we made to Avanti Wishaw. Malcolm phoned or emailed us nearly every day with updates & without Malcolm’s help support I doubt our kitchen would have been finished correctly at all. At no point have we expected or asked for compensation. We simply wanted our kitchen to be fitted & finished to the “extremely high standard” Avanti claim to do, we were severely disappointed. They say on their website that “65% of customers are from returning customers or their recommendations”. We strongly recommend that you do not use Avanti Wishaw.

We had a kitchen supplied and fitted by avanti nothing short of a nightmare, the units came chipped and weren't replaced the fitter fitted the kitchen how he wanted to and not to the plan we had to stop the fitter or the quartz worktops would have been wrong £4000 worth.
He damaged our fridge freezer where he had to pay towards a replacement.
The extractor cupboard had to be made 3 times and then avanti was told how to do the job by my wife has they didn't know how to.
We have a feature cupboard where the pelmets are a poor fit making it an eye sore not a feature avanti tried several times to rectify but to know avail and now have emailed me saying they have exhausted all avenues and consider the case closed and are now ignoring all my emails and this is after the MD said contact me for a goodwill gesture and admitted he could not supply the kitchen to the plan we ordered.
This is just a few issues we have had with this company there are many more.
Update
Since posting this review we did receive contact from Lee Capewell through an email stating how our review has been brought to his attention stating all reviews are damaging to a small company and said they would offer a goodwill gesture if we removed our review. We discussed with the fitter how to fit the miss match pelmets to what we would hope to be a satisfactory conclusion but they are not prepared to do that and seemingly washed there hands of us and as for a goodwill gesture it now has become a conditional offer to remove our review and silence us, how this can be perceived as goodwill is beyond us which highlights the values and company ethics in our experience and the financial offer would not of covered the costs of rectifying some of the issues, bearing in mind we have allowed the company 2 whole years to rectify the wrongs and have been constantly chasing them.
