Wast of time
Wast of time
Some of the tutors are joke. Marking mock papers wrongly, then saying can go and sit exam and after multiple fails send me an email saying “good luck in the future you are removed “. It’s like a scam. Said after sitting exam we will let you know in 6 working days how it’s went, if I don’t message they wouldn’t bother themselves to send results.
They only staff who’s really good and helpful is Mark, the rest is a joke.
Avoid this and don’t wast your time
Waste of money - you have been warned
I enrolled onto Level 3 Accounting course with Babington. Customer advisors on chats and my tutor repeatedly confirmed that I would be able to sit my exam in their Manchester based centre, and now after 3 months they say that it is actually not possible at all and that I have to do my exams remotely (which is not a suitable option for me) or go to another college and pay for my exams double or triple of what would it have costed me if I had my exam with Babington (as promised before). So I am not able to have my exam at their centre as they promised when enrolling. I paid £740 for the course, received few paper books through the post (which can be normally bought at any shop anyway), and their online learning website which is just saying "read chapter 1 in your paper book, then read chapter 2, then read chapter 3"... Useless "learning" website. Then I do a little interactive activity on their website which does not sufficiently test my knowledge on what I had learnt. Their revision kits are full of mistakes so it is also useless, not good quality. Only few learning videos available, like 3-minutes long. Not enough learning videos. They do not have their own learning material. Honestly, you'll be better off learning from Youtube accounting channels, and it's for free. I absolutely do not recommend this "college". You can study at home without having to pay someone to tell you to read chapter 1 then chapter 2, and then book an exam yourself somewhere at a local non-Babington test centre (which is what Babington just asked me to do anyway! It will save you lot of money and nerves. I have no idea for what did I pay those £740... I want my money back. Dodgy company. Avoid.
