I was very happy with the service from Backmarket. The Realme 9 5G phone was in excellent condition. Although the phone arrived without damage I feel they could improve the cushioning in the box as there was nothing to prevent the sleeve in which the phone was enclosed from sliding around in the box. Perhaps recycled paper would be an eco friendly method of doing so.

My first experience with Backmarket has been a brilliant one. All the product info was available before I purchased. Then, I was kept informed at all times until delivery.
The phone itself is absolutely brilliant. Completely flawless.

I bought a Thermomix TM6 and I’m very happy with it. The product works perfectly and looks almost like new. The only minor sign of use is some circular marks on the bottom of the mixing bowl, likely from the knife’s normal rotation.

my camera has a purple blur to it and i don’t know how to fix, other than that absolutely perfect phone i love it so much

Solid device, would have given it a 5/5, but an unlocked Japanese version was shipped, so it lacked Bixby voice, which is a huge bummer, before you order, make sure you instruct the seller to provide the international version or US version

Extremely poor service. I bought a laptop sent which turned out to have a minor defect. Sent it back to be repaired or replaced. I was told a replacement was sent out to me. Waiting longer than I should have, I decided to get in touch with BackMarket to see where the package was. They got in touch to say it wasn't sent and could not be replaced?? A total waste of time dealing with this crowd.

Spent over €1,000 on an iPhone 16 Pro, specifically chose the “Premium” condition option and paid the extra price to make sure the phone was in almost brand new condition.
The phone arrived with a significant amount of dirt trapped around the edges between the glass and the body, which would require professional cleaning as to not damage the screen or scratch the body of the phone.

When I raised this issue with a member of the customer support team and showed the photos of the very obvious dirt, they told me pretty much there was nothing they’d be doing to make up for this but “As a small gesture of goodwill” offered me a “5% off promo code for your next order”. What use is a 5% discount on my next order when I’ve just spent 1k on a phone?
When I asked for a phone number to contact a manager to try and resolve the issue I was told that it wasn’t possible to speak with a manager, and the staff member I was speaking to was a member of the “Escalation Team”, whatever that means. Utterly ridiculous that I can’t call to speak with someone and have pretty much been told to return the phone or shut up. Cheers lads won’t be recommending Black Market
