All of our hire cylinders do include a 28 day hire period which begins on the date the cylinder is collected or delivered. Customers can select their own return date if they wish within this time which I can see you did with your online order. We did speak with you subsequently to confirm that you could keep the cylinder for the full 28 days if you would prefer to, so I'm sorry if there has been any confusion here.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. Unfortunately we cannot see that you contacted us to discuss your concerns with your order at all which would have allowed us to get to the bottom of why this happened.
Typically if a balloon floats for less time than is expected it is likely that either the balloons used were not suitable for helium, or the conditions (such as temperature etc) were not favourable for helium as it does shrink in the cold for example.
If there was a problem with the helium gas itself it would have affected an entire batch and we have not had any similar complaints of this happening.
We are very sorry to hear that this happened but hope that you had a successful event nonetheless.

There needs to be improvement in the way that helium bottles are booked in when returned.The current system at the depot in Burton on Trent left you with not much confidence that you would not be paying excess.

Great Tank, Bad Service!
The helium tank and service from the company directly were great. But the location which was used for collection and drop off really let the service down. My husband was left waiting for over an hour while the company found out what they were to do when collecting it and another 45 minutes on return of the tank. It put us off tremendously but the service from Balloon Helium directly was good, very informative and clear on the terms and conditions.

Very quick service ...ordered 3 balloons and one helium gas container. Found the info about how much gas needed to inflate balloons a bit confusing. Ordered what I thought was enough gas but only had enough for 1 balloon not 3!

Good service - easy to use
Good service, was great to be able to pick up a decent sized canister. The only reason now a 5 was that the guys where I dropped it off were not aware that I was dropping it off, despite me having stated this. But they sorted it. So would definitely use them again.

Cancelled our order
Cancelled our delivery so we had to collect. Then cancelled our collection a few days before our event leaving us with no helium. Had to call them and beg for a disposal canister instead. They did deliver this but was smaller than the one I originally ordered for the same price. 3 weeks on I'm still waiting for the refund for the delivery charge. I had used them previously but I wont again. They only got a 2 star as the lady in their customer service was helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, although it is very difficult to hear that we let you down on this occasion.
Unfortunately due to the recent/current helium shortage various restrictions were put in place by the helium suppliers which limited the options that we were able to offer to you as an alternative. These restrictions have been industry-wide and so all helium hire companies have been affected by these changes.
In the rare event we are unable to fulfil an order we will always do our best to offer a suitable alternative and although we appreciate it was not ideal we are glad that we were able to provide some helium for your event. As a gesture of goodwill we were able to upgrade the order to a higher value alternative made up of Disposable Cylinders and as such unfortunately there is no refund due on the account.
We do hope that your event was every success despite the issues faced.

Dinosaur wedding balloons
I purchased a small cylinder of helium for my dinosaur themed wedding. It managed to do 30 large walking foil dinosaur balloons, 20 super large foil dino balloons & over 100 large latex balloons for the tables. There was over a 1/4 of a cylinder remaining when i gave it back. Good quality helium as all balloons lasted the whole day. Great customer service. Very reasonable price!! Would definitely use them again!! Thank you
