A dreadful bank with exorbitant charges …
A dreadful bank with exorbitant charges and very poor service. They charged me €175.00 to transfer €50,000.00 to Santander and also charged the same amount again with another transfer to the same bank. Two more transfers to a German bank at the same cost. They also cancelled standing orders without notice and were not helpful trying to correct the mistake. I shall be closing my account after 10 years.

This is the worst bank I have ever had …
This is the worst bank I have ever had to deal with in Spain. Terrible customer service, no back up when someone is off on holiday, they closed all their branches so we have to drive an hour to get to them. Which I wouldn´t do, if it wasn´t for them insisting we have to see them in person to sign a declaration which we´ve already done. I would leave this bank immediately if it wasn´t for being tied in with a mortgage.

Used ATM to withdraw 500 euros but only received 460. Went in the next day to dispute and was said they'd check the ATM and will notify me after but I never got a call back and never received the 40 euros. Heard quite a few times of Bankia ATM's not giving out the correct amount or just swallowing the card completely... So annoying

Bad service, worst communication, terrible conditions
Bankia is not exactly well known for being service minded; I have been trying to solve a problem with an old debt for a long time and they are not helpful but create unnecessary bureaucracy. No answer to the emails, no answering to the formal complaints, to my letter, etc. their charges and fees are beyond being unfair, they are unreasonable and specially considering the poor service they provide. I definitely do not recommend having business with them. Such an unethical bank, far from the other European counterparts.
