So easy to rent and excellent on the…
So easy to rent and excellent on the ground customer service. However the car return point is a little off Melbourne airport so we had to plan for additional time to drop the car and return to airport. And traffic closer to airport entails additional 15 mins in itself.. wil be great if Bargain can make drop offs at airport possible

Easy transition
Easy transition pickup took 10+mins from the time we called for the shuttle at Melbourne airport. Took 10mins to get to the car rentals. Waited 5mins for reception and 5mins to finish off paperwork.
The kia van was great to drive around Melbourne.
Highly recommend using bargain rentals, avoidable, easy to book online, staff and service was amazing definitely use bargain on our next trip.

Horribly poor service and rude worker
The service was horribly poor, we waited over an hour to be picked up by the shuttle to pick up our car and the man named George who came to pick us up was incredibly rude and left us behind claiming he only had two seats available although we had a party of three. I would not recommend this service for anyone especially if they are unlucky enough to have George as their driver.

Worst experience ever.
We have MG for our first car rental in this trip. However, it was a bad experience. The car slipped back even when we pulled up the hand brake. And the car required at least 2 seconds to go forward when we stepped on the accelerator.
The most awful part is, when we went to the car rental centre trying to change to a new car (as we afraid we will die from this car), the staff said “Well we have received similar comments from other customers” WTF?
When we requested to change to a new car, the staff said even if we change to a new one, it will be the same year same company, it will be no difference. It was like they didn’t want us to change the car. And they said the new car is from Europe, turns out it’s China.
Finally, we change to a so-called “totally the same, same year, same company, you will get the same” car, but it’s different brand and it worked much better than the MG.
I think the attitude of this car rental centre, the car, everything was so bad, and I was very disappointed about this experience.

All of our vehicles are inspected before each booking, but sometimes things do slip through, we do apologise that it sounds like this may have been the case with your rental.
With any of our bookings if an issue arises at collection or during your rental we do recommend you have a chat with the depot staff or give us a call to be provided with a solution or swap into a fresh vehicle.
This is something we feel should be made as easy as possible especially with a legitimate concern over how the vehicle is being held with brakes or moving with the accelerator.
I apologise that this issue has arisen at all and will be passing this through to my internal team for follow up.

Check the fuel gauge before driving off
During collection the car was not very clean and the fuel tank was not full, with just over 3/4 showing on the gauge.

Unroadworthy car given to me !!!Dirty with tissue and paper on floor. Steering wheel shaking when driven on freeway , brake lights were out too and worst customer service person I spoke too. No help was available when I needed it!!! Now some puppet will come and make excuses on here regarding this matter. I will say if your calls are recorded go and check what was the issue!!!! Never using bargain car rental again!!!!

Bargain Car Rentals Service is good.
Even though it's my first time renting from them,very systematic and guidelines are there to help for additional support needed.
Had a bad incident,front tyre was punctured at the carpark at night,call the hotline for help,indeed rescue team came over to replace the tyre,but eventually spare tyre was even worst,was advised to tow the van to workshop.
Lucky for us,had everything covered under their insurance,no additional payment needed,even Uber trips back to accomodations that night and to the depot in the morning for swapping of van was fully covered by them.
Ground staff at the depot was solid,kept apologizing due to the issue,even help us with the claims of Uber and swapping of Van without any delay.
