I purchased an Instant Hot Water Tap kit via eBay from Bathroom Store Direct February 2016

Only once the eBay purchase completed was I informed that the units were out of stock!

3 weeks after I had paid and been accused of operating as a covert eBay employee, I finally received the kit.

Before installation I ensured a filter was not required to satisfy the warranty.
*
All good, at last.
*
10 months later the heating unit has stopped working - the instructions suggest a reset process but that has had no effect.
*
I have contacted Bathroom Store Direct via e-mail and multiple phone numbers and left messages for 2 weeks now with no response.
*
I have now engaged Trading Standards and my credit card provider to try and resolve the matter.
*
BEWARE before using this company is all I can say.

Of course, IF they resolve the matter I will update my review accordingly.

Since my initial review and resulting problems, I have received a replacement hot water heater.
Sadly that failed after about 6 months but this time the response was far better and I received a replacement within a week plus a fresh 12 month warranty with it (that I sincerely hope I don`t have to use) so I have updated my rating and review title accordingly.

I ordered a new bathroom tap, it arrived as described in a couple of days and the tracking service kept me up to date with progress and meant I could be home to receive it. Fast and efficient all round. Recommended

Bought a kitchen taps, bath taps and pop up bath plug, bathroom sink tap and pop up plug and a thermastic rain head shower, they were all delivered on time and great quality will use this company again and again thank you for the great service

I purchased a square thermostatic shower mixer on a next day delivery. I wasn't too sure if I would receive the product the following day as I placed the order just before the cut off. Sure enough, the product was delivered the next day by UK Mail and I was kept informed by both text and an email. I'm very happy with my new shower mixer and will highly recommend this company.

I recently purchased the Legend Complete Bathroom Suite. The price was terrific and the delivery, which was only two days after my purchase, went smoothly. I was very impressed with the quality of all of the products that come with the suite and they look great in my bathroom! Very impressed with the company and will definitely use again in the future!

I ordered taps from this company, the courier company delivered the item to my neighbours address, np npte telling of this, i collected taps the following day and parts were missing!
Called the company, spoke to a rude manager, who told me I would have to pay to get the items that were missing.
He was swearing down the phone at me, extremly rude and very unprofessional.
I have reported him and the company to trading standards, I have also contacted the consumer rights act.
I am now in contact with my bank and online dispute resolution to get my money back!
Will never use this company again!

They were really helpful on the phone, with measurements to supplement the online spec. The price was really good value - far less than the equivalent product on other sites - and the free 3-5 day delivery came the next day! What more could you ask?

I recently purchased a B&B and needed a new shower enclosure. I found Bathroom Store Direct online, called and they recommended the Hydro Massage Cabin 2100. After consulting with my Husband, I phoned back to make the purchase. The customer care team was extremely helpful on both occasions by answering all queries I had. They took my order with ease and the enclosure was delivered two days after I purchased on a pallet. I'm very happy with the quality of the Hydro Massage Cabin as several guests have already commented how they were impressed with the many features

I recently purchased the Tec Studio Z FS Shower Mixer Tap from Bathroom Store Direct. Before purchasing, I found the exact same tap in several stores but Bathroom Store Direct clearly had the best price. I placed my order on Friday but needed it for the weekend so I paid extra for a Saturday delivery. I was thrilled when DPD sent me a text and email informing me my delivery would be made by 11 AM. The tap, which is now installed, is extremely well made and looks fantastic in my bathroom. Will recommend

I would definitely NOT recommend this product or use this company again. Wihtin a couple of weeks of the tap being fitted, it began to leak up through the middle, which gradually got worse, until eventually, it became a continuos leak without the tap even being turned on. When I found my toaster sitting in a puddle of water, I quickly went out to buy an alternative, leaving tea towels collecting the water!
Having called out a plumber to fix my new tap, I called the company & was told I had to send a video of the problem, which they would send to their technical team, who would diagnose the problem & send out the relevant replacement part. I explained I couldn't wait that long & needed a replacement tap straight away, but they maintained I should have sent a video showing the problem first! I thought this was completely unreasonable given the tap was only fitted some four/five months previously! It isn't the sort of thing I would expect to have to replace so soon.
