Wanted a kamado Joe 3 for a long time. Done lots of research but still wasn't sure. Luckily I'm only an hours drive from the Sidcup shop so went down to look at one.

Was blown away by the workers there and their knowledge and patience as i asked them a tonne of questions.

After leaving the shop I decided I wanted to purchase directly from them as its nice to know where your buying from and to have the direct contact for future purchases etc.

Hit the purchase button had an email confirmation and less than a week later had the delivery.

Even the delivery driver was great. Really friendly and give me some tips on setting it up.

5 stars all rounds.

We bought a Monolith Junior online. During payment a note of the bank came up that this could be a scam.
(never had this before) Still continued with payment and soon after got an email from BBQ Barn to confirm.
Never the less it kept me awake for two nights worrying…..🙃 Well I couldn’t do anything about it anymore so we had to wait and see. Than an email came with delivery day options.🥳 Delivery was spot on by a very accurate and friendly man. As soon he drove away we started unboxing and discovered that we got it with a frame while we ordered it without. Immediately phoned BBQ Barn and explained. Very friendly man promised to phone back after checking where it went wrong. Not long after he did phone back and a mistake was made in the warehouse. If we wanted we could keep the frame because swapping it would be more expensive because of we live in Scotland. We didn’t order a frame because we weren’t sure if it would be a sturdy or flimsy quality. Seeing it in reality it is a surprisingly reasonable sturdy quality. So we decided to keep it and are delighted with it.
BBQ Barn thanked us for our honesty to let them know instead of not informing them. Thank you BBQ Barn for everything and we would have given you 5 stars without the frame issue anyway! Would recommend your company to anybody.

Ordered online on Sunday. Delivered before 3pm Monday. Delivery was perfect. Excellent communication. We picked up our bbq with side smoker in the sale and got a great deal. The quality is fabulous. Just what we were looking for at a great price with excellent service.

After doing some online research on flat grill BBQs I had a narrowed down list of three. I called BBQ Barn and was lucky enough to speak to Paul. He was amazingly helpful and spent a generous amount time talking me through the positives and negatives of each brand. I made the decision to buy the new Weber Slate (AMAZING BTW) but it hadn’t been released yet. Paul said he’d let me know as soon as it was released and he did, he also went above and beyond to make sure it was delivered the day he received it - a Friday, in time for an ambitiously planned BBQ on the Sunday.
Thank you Paul and BBQ Barn, you are definitely my go-to BBQ guys.

After a couple of visits to the showroom and some really helpful tips from the sales person, we ordered our new Kamado Joe Big Joe from BBQ Barn - Leigh on Sea.

It is everything we thought it would be. Our first cooks over the weekend were better than we ever expected. For us, the Big Joe was the better size, as we like to cook everything including vegetables etc on the grill, not just the meat. A 61 cm grill diameter was therefore the way forward.

There was a slight delay to the delivery, but John has contacted us since, just confirming our thoughts that BBQ Barn really cares about their customers.

Henny is lovely and super helpful. She has great knowledge of the products and helped me pick the right BBQ for our family. We love our Big Joe III and would recommend everyone going to visit the Leigh shop. Thank you!

Having done a bit of shopping around we found that BBQ Barn offering a Sahara x13 Stainless Steel Patio heater at a good price. I had a few queries which were answered promptly by Paul, as a result we purchased the heater yesterday morning and it has already arrived.
Good communication from both Paul at BBQ Barn and updates from their courier APC.
Although we haven't yet used the heater, having had a Sahara Patio Heater before, I have no doubt that it will also be good.
Would recommend, hence the 5 stars.

Quick delivery on some replacement BBQ parts - good experience.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the Kamado GRILLDOME BBQ I purchased for over £1000. Despite initially receiving a replacement in November 2023 due to severe issues, I have encountered the same problem again with the new unit, which is only 7 months old.

On June 26th, 2023, during my wife’s birthday celebration, the BBQ malfunctioned: the top part came apart, the spring disconnected, and the frame slipped off, leading to both functional and cosmetic damages. This ruined our celebration and caused significant inconvenience. Despite contacting customer service and having two representatives inspect and attempt to fix the BBQ, the seal remained compromised, causing smoke to escape and affecting temperature control.

When the replacement BBQ exhibited the same malfunction last weekend during another celebration, I was appalled. The BBQ has only been used three times since the replacement, clearly indicating a persistent defect. To make matters worse, when I reached out for a resolution, the store owner refused to help, citing the two-year mark from the original purchase, and instead offered a mere 50% voucher. They even shouted over the phone, accusing me of misuse, which is utterly unacceptable.

Given these repeated issues and poor customer service, I am seeking a full refund. A replacement has already proven ineffective, and a refund is the only satisfactory resolution. I hope the company takes this complaint seriously and addresses it promptly.

I would not recommend purchasing from this store based on my experience.
