Terrible company, avoid at all costs

Terrible company. They have not delivered on their promise of reducing debt. I could have negotiated these debts myself and saved the nearly $7000 in fees I have paid them. They have in their possession now enough funds to clear the remaining debt, but they will not call the creditors. I have called multiple times over the last few months, and no results. I can't even get them to call me back. I have had multiple court dates to attend due to creditors filing warrants in debt and Bedrock did absolutely nothing to try to resolve. My breakdown: around $25000 in original debt, paid them almost $20000 so far, they have kept $7000 in fees, $13000 to debt, and I have had to pay almost $3000 out of my pocket for 2 of the warrants they did not resolve. I saved no money, and have had 3 years of aggravation. Avoid at all costs!!!

Confusion about my current account

Confusion about my current account - kept (2x) identifying my old account but found my current.
No receipt of my transaction/phone call. You tape it but I don't get anything confirming what you are doing for me.

Crooks

I have been on this program for over 2 years. They did not do the job and a judgement was put against my house. They were supposed to take care of thos account. I paid it off and tried to pay a year in advance, they would not take the payment. They told me I owned over 17,00.00. But in reality I owed 10,000.00. I also paid the loan on my house whitch should have been applied to my balance owed. Instead they told me I owed over 17,000.00. If you take the total payments left and add them up it comes to 10,000.00. But i paid off the 4,142.10 they didnt take care of. These people are crooks. I paid everything, never missed a payment, plus paid off a judgement they didnt take care of. Now they ask for another 17,000.00. Where do they come up with these numbers? The more you pay, the more you owe. Why cant i pay 1 year in advance? That would leave me with 5 payments. They said no. Why the hell not? I have never missed a payment. I'm just trying to pay my program off a year early, and there having none of that. Crooks.

Hamza was far the best rep I’ve ever…

Hamza was far the best rep I’ve ever had there. Most customer service reps don’t have a clue when I call I get frustrated. Hamza took control of ALL my questions, answered immediately and at one point got disconnected but he even called right back. Hamza gave excellent customer service! I wish he was assigned to me all the time.

look up Meagan review on this page. I can agree with her experience. Bedrock at first settled numerous accounts I was delinquent on. I am grateful for what they accomplished. But my worst account AMEX, they have caused more legal trouble for me and did not settle the account as promised. in August 2019, I owed one payment to AMEX, due on the 1st of the month, after making 11 of 12 owed, this was the last payment due. A mistake occurred where my bank, Bank of America, did not lift a stop payment order on the RAM account. I placed the stop payment order and called back to lift it, it was not changed. Bad as this was on my part, I was contacted by Bedrock's representative telling me a payment needed to be made. I looked in my RAM account and the payment was still in the RAM account, I called Bedrock and told them about this problem, this BIG problem. Bedrock said they would take care of this and a manger would be getting back to me. it is now April 10, 2020 and literally no manger or staff from litigation has called me - I have been calling weekly up until December 2019.

Credit rating take a real hit

They have done a good part in negotiating payoffs for our 3 VISA cards. We are near the end of our 3 year process with them. The only problem I have with them, they did say our credit rating would take a real hit, but rebound within 6-9 months. We went from 750 to 630. Our credit rating is still real bad, about 637. We are now told we would not see it rebound till the debts are paid in full.

I'm in a tight situation with this COVID-19 virus and called for some leniency and was pleasantly surprised when my wishes were granted! Compassion to the MAX! Thank you. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN

I wish I could give negative stars but it’s not an option. First of all when bedrock legal first contacted me they told me they were backed by the BBB. They even displayed the logo on their website. This was completely false as the BBB has started an investigation into them and demanded they removed the logo which happened at the end of 2017. I have been paying them since March 2017 and my program just ended. They told me they were going to pay off my debt and I will be debt-free after three years. About two months ago they began calling me and telling me there was no more money left in my account and I still owed Chase Bank an additional $3000 outside of my program. Chase bank sent me a settlement letter back in September 2018 that I sent to bed rock legal and they proceeded to do nothing about it. They never called Chase bank to follow up on that settlement agreement and now they want me to pay $1000 more then chase bank wanted originally. They told me this was not their fault that they did not follow up and that per the terms of my agreement they had negotiated all my debt, it just wasn’t to a number that I liked. I pointed out that they actually did not do their job because if they had, they would’ve settled my account back in September 2018 and instead of just letting it go. I told them that if they can’t do their job I should not have to pay them $7000 in fees today and owe an additional $3000. I also waited three weeks for a supervisor to call me back even though I followed up regularly. He had nothing to tell me outside of the fact that they did what they signed on for. They absolutely did not do what they signed on for as they took $7000 in fees and did not negotiate all of my debt when they were given the settlement letters. I told him I would be contacting a lawyer and it did not seem to faze them. This is something they do consistently and it’s not a practice they are going to change. They do not care because once they have your money they have you. This company is an absolute farce and should not be used by anyone. They have no intention of actually settling your debt - just getting a whole lot of money out of you and letting you hang on your own. I now have had to pull my card out of the program and I’m now going to have to negotiate with the creditor directly because again Bed Rock Legal failed to do the job they signed a contract for. This company is an absolute joke and should never be trusted by anybody. Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. Do Not believe any of these reviews that say they did what they did as I’m pretty sure these people had to of been paid for what they’re saying. There’s absolutely no truth to any claims that Bed Rock Legal pays off your debt for you.

Best CS call yet. I’ve been in this program since 2017 and have called in with questions several times over the nearly three years. This Customer Service rep was the most thorough and helpful yet. Kudos to him!

NO replys or reponces to questions after closing

For me, something went wrong between starting into this program reviewing financials and the accounts I thought WERE defined for closing. During the closing, there was an account that was NOT to be been defined in the creditor list with the associated payment schedule for these. After this hurried closing, we had a series of emails to remove the one mentioned AND (as it turned out) ADD another that I thought would not qualified for this program. I committed to a higher payment with this addition and received an updated schedule. I forwarded correspondences from creditors as requested until settled. Several accounts settled just as the program offered except for one. I started requesting, “what is the status of this” over 16 months with no replies. This creditor initiated civil action, I settled this surprise separately, but where were these adjusted payments going? I retained a lawyer to review this with them.
