It was touch point approach
It was touch point approach, awareness has increased, actual importance is understood, many can benefit is understood, we will be helped is a great feeling.
The presenters could have emphasized critical factors in the whole process of procedure.

Informative, to-the-point session.
The session was timed perfectly. Started and concluded on the dot. The hosts were friendly and lucid in their presentation. They covered a lot of points in such a short time. Most importantly, they could generate a lot of optimism which really helped to remember that there is a lot of hope for Non-profits and NGOs with so much good will in the air. At the same time, we could understand that there is a lot of work to be done and that work only will lead to fruition. Great session and truly helpful. I love how the hosts took time to read and respond to comments and queries.

Overall
Overall, The get found and funded session was awesome.
Though our cause profile is up to dated and we have received our 1st donation, they take a long time to trafer through ETA. If they can work on the and expedite the process, the funds can be utilised in time bound manner.
Thank you

The discussion was very fruitful
The discussion was very fruitful, and I was able to learn in detail about many new topics. However, despite submitting several programs, we have not received any funds to date. We would greatly benefit if the fund could be released at the earliest. Thank you.

Unfortunately we've used these people…
Unfortunately we've used these people for a couple of years for a little piece of our non profit canine rescue and I must say after attempting to move electronic deposits from one financial institution to another, Benevity really does suck. They seem to really go out of their way to drag their feet and drag payments out and irritate their users.
I've been trying to satisfy them for over a month and I'm done today.
They do an equally good job of trying to tell financial institutions how to run their buinesses in this county. They give our old friend Canada a bad impression.
I have been billed by this company
I have been billed by this company. I have idea who they are or what they sell. I have sent two emails and received an auto response that didn’t address my concern.
I have left two voicemails with no response.
I will add that the charge was not fraudulent but a donation I authorized via a fox link.
Their customer service is lacking.
Benevity is terrible for charities - dismal service, harmful delays
It's clear that for Benevity, corporations are the customer, and charities are the product.
We are a charity receiving employee payroll contributions and occasional one-time donations, and our experience with Benevity has been that they minimize their costs by shifting as much of the work burden of distributing funds as possible to the recipient charity to cut costs.
- Customer service is terrible. It's impossible to get a person by phone, only email. This results in miscommunication, lengthy delays in resolving an issue, if at all. Agents ignore emails, and I've had to aggressively follow up with agents who seem untrained.
- Other platforms proactively email alerts when distributions are made, and distributions are usually on a regular, monthly cycle. Not Benevity. We receive monthly payroll deduction employee contributions. Yet the distributions arrive irregularly. I have to log in to Benevity to manually check if a report is there. The only way to know how much the distribution is and donation details is to download an unformatted excel spreadsheet.
We have asked our donors to use another platform, but unfortunately, it's part of their HR package. What we have done is refuse to list our name in their charity database.
Top of the class
Having worked with YourCause (nightmareish) and Cybergrants previously, Benevity is a breath of fresh air. Genuine partner to us in bringing our CR / FOundation program to life. We are utilizing the Grant, Spark, and Challenges solutions for a global tech company of 12K+ employees in 20 locations worldwide. I see a few comments about customers experiencing payment to charities as long. Realistically, global fund disbursement takes minimum 4 weeks from the payment of the invoice by the participating company. Delays are added by companies paying invoices late, and in India, especially, by local legislation updates. I wouldn't read too much into it - I'd argue the participating company should have better communication with end users on expected timelines - we are super clear that it's the end of the month after your donation is made, except for some emergency funds.
They take months to deliver the funds…
They take months to deliver the funds to charities. When you complain, they just give you a lame excuse as to why. But they don't escalate it. They just say sorry and move on.
Don't use this terrible company.
Can't be trusted with our money
Like many others here I have encountered problems with the speed of donation disbursement. At present they have been holding on to several hundred pounds I paid directly to them several months ago (starting in December) without forwarding it to the charities it was intended for.
I can't even give this company one…
I can't even give this company one star. I have been trying for the past 10 days to get a response from Benevity regarding a donation that was made to my nonprofit, of which I am president for over $1900. I have written to the robot and done the data entry at least 10 times I keep getting the same message back that while I am waiting for a reply, I could possibly do this, this and that, etc.The issue is that I am unable to receive a verification code to verify that it is me before I can enter into the database and see who it is that made the donation through their company with a company match. The last time I logged in I was in Switzerland where I was taking care of a sick relative. I am now in Rhode Island. I really feel that you would be embarrassed, If you could see that I received at least 10 emails saying the same thing that while I am waiting for a response from your customer service, I can do this this, this and that. We are a small nonprofit serving a Native American community and it is very embarrassing to me, that it is more than a month later after this person, in good faith, made a donation and I have not been able to thank them.I can be reached at 800-646-2952. Please leave a message. Thank you.
This company is a Scam
I made a donation to a charity in October and never received a confirmation. For tax purposes I need an acknowledgement. The phone number for Benevity is useless unless you know an extension or name of an individual. When pressing for accounting, I get disconnected. I believe this company is a scam.
Never received the donation!
My nonprofit was issued a check that never arrived in my mailbox.
I notified Benevity before the 180 day deadline.
They voided the donation and never reissued the check.
I have written to them several times and the issue has never been resolved.
Only get robo emails from them.
They are absolutely terrible at handling and dispersing donations.
Especially when the check is lost by the postal service.
My rescue dogs will suffer due to Benevity’s incompetence!
Big mistake putting them in charge.
PayPal did a much better job.
Disappointing Support and Misleading Information
As a small nonprofit founder, my experience with Benevity has been extremely disappointing. Promises of support for essential features like Apple Pay donations have fallen flat, with the support team providing slow and misleading responses. Despite clear indications on their own platform that such features are available, their inability to assist us in enabling Apple Pay has significantly hindered our fundraising capabilities and growth. This has not only wasted our time but also cost us potential donations. I strongly advise other nonprofits to seek a more reliable and honest partner.
Disappointing and now downright rude
Disappointing and now downright rude
We've used this platform for a few years, we get pennies here and there but its not really worth the time. Now they put in a 2factor authentication, it doesnt work. I reached out to support. They have done nothing but waste my time and not fixed it. If we don't set it up, they will bump us from the platform so looks like we are done because they can't have functional upgrades.
I use this company at my workplace and they're awesome.
I've used this company at my workplace for sending donations to charities in Canada and even throughout the world. I've made many donations over the years and they always get to where they need to. Sometimes it takes a little bit of time but it always gets there, usually within a month or two at most. While this may seem like a lot of time, Benevity is ensuring the funds go to legitimate causes and they are also pooling donations monies from other companies to make the payments to charities more efficient. The automatic matching and volunteering rewards functionality on the platform are super cool as well.
Disappointing and Deliberate Delays in Disbursments of Donations
We have donors who uses benevity platform to engage their employers to match their donations. The donations which are supposed to be disbursed to the school at the end of each month is always held back by Benevity and takes months before the funds are finally released to the School. Benevity charges a sizeable amount for the use of their platform and on top of that, when the school reached out to enquire about status of disbursement which was long delayed, the response given was that the School should not expect amounts to be sent to us until Benevity decides to move their status of the donations from Current to In Progress - which is totally in their discretion with no consultation or reason for the delays. Disapointing response and unacceptable.
Benevity won't accept official bank account documentation
To establish EFT transactions, Benevity required us to submit bank account verification documentation. Despite the fact that we've provided them with that documentation multiple times, they've repeatedly informed us it "isn't sufficient" to verify our bank account - even though it's on our bank's official letterhead and signed by a verifiable bank executive. We're not sure if other nonprofits are having this same issue, but we definitely recommend avoiding dealing with Benevity.
I wish I could give this company a zero…
I wish I could give this company a zero star. Worst customer service EVER!!
Our organization's profile on Benevity was somehow managed by someone completely unrelated. When I reached out to Benevity to try and correct the mistake they kept passing the buck. Unhelpful and absolutely impossible to get on a phone call-try calling their customer service -impossible to hear anything.
Why are big companies using this to initiate a company match? Benevity doesn't care even when i told them company match went to the wrong place due to the confusing way information is shown on their portal.
If they do not fix my issues I will be writing a personal plea to any organization that I find uses Benevity to drop this crappy org. And that is at least two organization that I have personal connections with.
Questionable service
We've been getting lots of delays in disbursement of funds and it feels a bit shady. Their promised ETA is 2 months, which is already long, but charities have been receiving funds after 3 whole months, and it's impossible to track exact fund arrival date. Their lack of transparency on delay reasons makes me question their legitimacy
