Prestatyn Beresford Adams have been excellent dealing with the sale of our Mothers house.
Professional, helpful and friendly throughout.

I recently sold my property through Beresford Adams at Holywell, as we all know it is a very stressful time, but was made easier by all the staff at the Holywell office, when a problem occurred is was quickly ironed out by a very professional team who were there to help you.
Sale was completed in good time and I’m sure they helped it progress to the end with their professional services.

The landlords find tenants privately and rent through the agency, so unless you have connections in the agency there is no point of applying. The communication is absolutely non existent, every property I’ve applied to, I’ve been put on a ‘list’ to view the property 2 weeks later I’ve given them a call just to hear that the property has been let to other people, even though I was not informed that I wasn’t the only one on the list. I was actually told I was the first person on the list. When I confronted the lady on the phone about their communication she was absolutely disgusting and didn’t even apologise but gave me attitude about me not being the only one on the list. Never again!!!

Shocking from start to finish, could write a review of epic proportions but for once my head is telling me not to incase of legal implications, can only speak about B.A Holyhead but all I’ll say is shocking from start to when we decided to cut our losses and move to Williams and Goodwin, the ramifications of our dealings with B.A will be felt by my family financially for some time, manager?? Enough said the better, staff, not the best, communication terrible from them, have to chase them for info constantly, apart from Alex who I’m guessing is the youngest member of staff there, the only one I felt that took any pride in his job and put his colleagues and manager to shame!

Alex if you read this, get yourself out of there and over to Williams and Goodwin, far more professional an outfit and an environment where you’ll thrive without question

After putting our house on the market with a different estate agents and numerous viewings and very little feedback, we decided to move to Beresford Adam’s. Best decision we could have made. Jess showed potential buyers around and we had 3 offers in just over one week.

Beresford Adams (Holyhead branch) marketed and attempted to sell me an unmortgageable property; and then left me high & dry with countless survey and legal fees to pay. The property had no leases, and was only ever a cash only purchase, that failed to be declared by the agent over an 11 month period of my attempting to purchase. No help. No support in the end, simply "we can't help you anymore; I think you are stuck really". A year, and a ton of money, into the £1000s wasted ! Wholly Unprofessional ! Worst Estate Agent ever !

Buying a house it’s was the greatest pleasure dealing with Zoe and Cary’s they were so understanding and dealt with everything they possibly could speaking with our solicitor secretary on our behalf etc .
I would give a ten star rating if possible thank you come and Cary’s and the rest of the team at Colwyn bay office

Ive had nothing but positivity and support from the team in North Wales, particularly Lisa and Sam who go beyond expectations to support your process in finding a property. My search is still ongoing and I have been in contact with other local estate agents who do not seem to put this much effort in. Thank you all for supporting this tough process

The staff are really friendly. Anything they can do to help is no issue. Very efficient.

Phoned for an appointment for appraisal and valuation from Colwyn Bay Office,
l gave them a time and date, then confirmed with call from my partner and they confirmed the appointment as well

It would have been polite as part of there customer service to check appointment or say they where not coming .
We both had to finish work early to be at the appointment on time and waited !!!
We phoned office to ask why NO SHOW at 4-55pm no answer ?
when you close at 5pm

If I could put a 0 star I would!
DO NOT rent from this company, I rented a house for 6 months, I changed the flooring from old grubby carpet to brand new herringbone flooring, I also changed the old grubby grey carpet to brand new cream carpet.
When I entered the properly it was full of ants which is why I took the flooring up, I rented this properly for 6 moths, the day I gave my notice in I asked Jamie if he would like me to change the flooring back to how it organially was, he told me that it should be fine. 3 days before I vacated I had a email to say the landlord wanted it back to normal, on a Friday evening! This left me no time to rectify the situation, I vacated the properly and had emails from Ellie telling me that the property was in perfect shape!
I then a few weeks later recieved a claim against me saying that I owed £1700 in damages! They have refused to admit that they told me it would be ok, and refused to admit any responsibility on their behalf!
It is an unprofessional untrustworthy company, they do nothing to help tenants, and they just want your money!
The communication between the staff is shocking! Do not trust them, do not rent from them! Unless you want to be stung and treated like an idiot.

I feel Beresford Adams did very little to satisfy the Customers needs and negotiated a deal and get this over the line they let it fall through with out trying
The sales team at Prestatyn office Do not have negotiating skills needed to get the properties over the line very poor communication.
Did not respond in a timely manner or answer the phone with confidence.

Will not put them selves out to do rural viewings.
Buyers comments to agents
“Why were we not made aware of the change to the paddock at the time Jason revised it?”

The buyer obtained the sellers number as the agents did not respond to them making an offer
After complaint to management I was told

“ Nikita took a call today and yes, she is our mortgage consultant, she was helping answering the phone as we are busy and couldn’t take the offer because she isn’t EA staff. This was passed to Kayleigh who is dealing with multiple offers today and will be calling Mr, as Nikita, took his number, earlier.”

The reason behind us taking our property of with this agent after just a couple weeks they where too busy to take an offer

What a Joke !!!!!

Just a shame that the girls in the letting department at Beresford Adams in Prestayn do not deal with the Sales they are very efficient and knowledgeable.

I had a house valuation on the 18th September 2024 in Chester. Kevin who came out to view our property was absolutely lovely throughout. He was informative and provided imparcial advice regarding our home as we are unsure whether we want to move or not. I did not feel any pressure from Kevin to sell our home, nor to go with Beresford Adams.

I will however in the future, I will definitely contact Beresford Adams, and Kevin specifically if we ever decide to move or need any further advice.
