I never received the items that I brought, have sent in number of emails, saying it was taken to a safe place and it wasn't my property, sent evidence of photos showing where Royal Mail sent it and took a photo of the item not there, also photos of my property, send a number of emails, then was told I will get a full refund, but the postage will be taken off, which I am still waiting for my full refund of £45, I have more emails and now being ignored, I would say I will not be using them again, I would void using them if they are not answering my emails, very poor customer service and I feel they are money grabbing people and not giving me my money back. This has been going on for months, when I placed the order in August/September. VOID THIS COMPANY, I think the company needs to work on there customer service comments saying enjoy guys, I asked for the refund and wasn't allowed so sent out a replacement, also I can't send the dvd's back as they have gone over there address on the label with a black marker, I think that is very childish.

Ordered and paid for DVDs. After a month of waiting, there is no sign of them and they’re not responding to queries. No response to my first email. Subsequent two emails were blocked by their spam filter. Used their online form. Three days later and still no response. Will be contacting my credit card company to arrange a charge-back.

I have placed my order at the end of October 2025, and have no idea whatsoever what its current status is. I have tried contacting them several times and got no reply (does anyone know another way besides the contact form?)
I am very disappointed, been waiting for this DVD for so long and I don’t think I’m gonna get it, nor would I get my money back.
Update: next time just leave it there, no one contacted me

Used a few times previously without issue but really let me down recently, my order (251217-074141-9709) remained on "Processing" for weeks with no response to contact attempts.
I've seen them respond to other reviews explaining that they don't have the time or money to read emails all of the time, and it's how they keep costs down, but that's a terrible excuse. If somebody has already paid for their product, you're expected to uphold your end of the transaction and either ship promptly or explain why there's a delay, part of owning a business means that you may have to sacrifice some of your personal time to do this.
Company tried to make me delete the above review and tried to claim that it was not for the correct company.
The fact that my order was eventually delivered does not take anything away from the review, and does not make it void - if anything, they now deserve an even lower star review for this further behaviour. Furthermore, in response to their now further edited response, If you're working on orders 24/7 and are unable to check emails as a result, then hire someone dedicated to support, you clearly are making enough profit in the business to do so if you're inundated with orders.

Exactly 3 months later and we haven't received our order which was meant to be a gift. Lost faith in this business as we are getting no response. Order status on their website says "Processing". Extremely disappointed not to mention out of pocket for $160 Australian dollars. (order #251013-024255-2465)

They are going as fast as they can! On Christmas day! This was probably my dad's last Christmas!
Order 251112-042633-7264 placed on 12th November. Nothing received. Just shows as processing. Very little communication up until 10 days ago. Now zero response. Was supposed to be a Christmas gift. Asked for a refund nearly two weeks ago. Nothing received. Nearly £50 and nothing to show for it. Going to have to begin legal action shortly. AVOID.

Shortly after writing the original review i was told my order would be shipped. My order has now arrived (after Christmas) so I thought I would update this review and increase the number of stars. I still reiterate my helpful suggestion however that there should be something on the website to manage expectations of the length of delivery as can be seen from other reviews.

Still waiting for my order placed on 6th November. Followed up one month later, got a response saying they are a very busy site so no estimated despatch date given. It's a real shame as the selection they offer is great - but clearly not available "off the shelf" or for immediate despatch..so perhaps something on the website to manage expectations might help?

I have read other reviews before ordering from here. Took a little while to be dispatched and sent out. Ordered The Princess Switch dvd which cannot be bought anywhere else. Has this been recorded from Netflix ? As the audio quality is really really quiet and mumbly, even on full volume. I have the volume right up and I am using a Panasonic soundbase which makes audio loud and clear - still awful. So bad we cannot watch it. Have emailed the seller, no response so far. ordered another dvd i could not find anywhere else, for some reason The Princess Switch came again. So now i have 2 the exact same dvds, both unuseable. Why did you switch the dvd i ordered ( The Kisiing Booth ) for the same dvd again ?

They are a small company and during busy periods they can only work as fast as they can . Will definitely buy again . Note to others giving reviews just be patient .

Awful customer service. Ordered a DVD on 01.12.25 and over a fortnight later I have had nothing; no correspondence, no shipping information and when I click to track my order it says "processing". Processing what? It doesn't take much to pick a dvd off a shelf and post it. The only way of getting in touch is via an online form which has been ignored. The item was a christmas gift and now I have no gift and no way of getting a response from the company.

After previous complaints which I have now deleted it is only fair to write a positive response. I waited longer than expected but my dvd that cannot be bought anywhere has now arrived. I love this Christmas dvd and whatever copy it is, it is ABSOLUTELY SUPERB, the quality cannot be faulted. So I know the dvd best shop read these reviews so to you I apologise sincerely and thankyou for my dvd. Next time I will be more patient as this dvd for me WAS WORTH THE WAIT. I ordered a DVD I could not find elsewhere on 21st November and then received email confirmation of my order even BEFORE payment had been made, which I thought rather strange. My immediate thought was that there was something not quite right here. I made payment but had no way of knowing if it had been successful, not until the amount appeared in my bank transactions on 25th November. Hearing nothing more from these people (receipt of payment, status of order, notification of delivery, etc) I sent a message via their website to enquire about the status of the order. I received NO response. I then looked at reviews for this company and found it was not good news - others were having similar problems, such as tardiness in fulfilling orders, poor communication (if any), etc. So, thinking the worst, I philosophically decided it was, after all, only a DVD worth a few pounds. I would learn from the experience.
I received the DVD on 5th December, 14 days after ordering. Although, these days, one almost expects to receive online orders next day, or certainly within a few days, I cannot really complain about this. It had arrived.
I do note, however, that the DVD appears to be a copy and not the original. "Bestdvdshop" appears on the disc menu.
