I should have done this on my first day in Vienna!! I did both the blue & red loop completely so I could get a sense of the city. The audio guide gave me a great history lesson, combined with beautiful music. The weather was lovely, so the open-air top level was perfect to enjoy it AND to take photos from a great perspective. It helped me to get oriented to the city and decide where I wanted to go back to. The hop-on / hop-off is an easy way to see sites in more detail. I travel frequently, and this is my first time on a tour - I am recommending it to my friends and family and will definitely do it again!

It wasn't easy to book the tour in the hotel as there was some confusion about the Vienna City card and the 3 day pass. Eventually we booked on my mobile phone but then didn't realise we needed the yellow tickets! Once we were settled it was fine and we enjoyed the information commentary and the convenience of the bus.

Good tour but wasted a lot of time...
The bus was nice and having the audio headphones was nice so everyone could hear and select what language they spoke. However, a lot of dead time between points of interest was filled with classical music. While the music was really nice and I know part of Vienna's history, a lot of that time could have been filled with stories or more interesting facts.

Failed app and communication
I was waiting exactly where the app told me a pick up spot was for the red route for about 15mins and then the bus drove right past me. It was marked incorrectly on the app. So I had to walk a ways until I found a proper pick up spot and that portion of the tour was fine. But then I tried to switch onto the blue route and three of the stops weren’t in use, I’m guessing it was because of Easter weekend, so I never managed to get on the blue route, all the other pick ups were too far for me to walk to in time. If half the service was going to be shut down then the price should reflect that and it should have been made clear before buying the tickets.

A not so hop on hop off experience
Hi unfortunately I don’t think k you were prepared for the number of people travelling the wait time at one stop was 40 minutes as the buses were already full when they arrived. Your member of staff at the palace was completely out of her depth to respond to tired angry customers one family got a cab instead when the bus came there was no control over who had been there longest and there was pushing and shoving which was most unpleasant the yellow bus tours on the other hand had more buses orderly queues and seemed more prepared. It’s a shame because I chose a name I knew but couldn’t recommend your service currently,

Very poor experience. When the tour did start it missed out everything the other side of the river. Again, no explanation or apology.
