Terrible experience. Maps had no addresses, so we couldn’t find many of the stops to get on (and had to find other ways to get where we wanted to go). When we did find a stop we were given incorrect and conflicting information about where and when to catch buses by the staff at the stops – if there were any staff; most of the time there were not. We missed more than one bus because of misinformation and had to wait half an hour to catch the next one. Bus drivers spoke only the native language and could not give us any information about anything, including where the next stop would be - often in out of the way places. Commentary was mostly awful; told us lots about the height of statues, but said nothing about many of the important buildings we were passing by, including city hall. We had a two city pass: Vienna and Budapest, and our experience was similarly bad in both cities. The only positive experience was the 90 minute river cruise in Budapest, but not worth the cost considering the rest was so awful.

We bought a combined offer for Vienna and Budapest. As much as I liked the tours in Vienna (though the blue route was less interesting than the red one) I was disappointed with Budapest. In Vienna tours were regular, well thought and the description interesting. In Budapest, other companies were more present and had a more regular service.
Overall I think there is still potential to develop more routes and a better service.
The highlight of the visit was the night tour in Vienna with Georg.

It was a perfect way to get to know the city and go to the sights of interest at a great cost

The walking tour was amazing, the guide was really knowledgable and very entertaining. Didn't spend a lot of time on the Red Route though.

7/8 years back the route designing, the choice of landmark and the quality of commentary/introductions of Big Bus Tours used to be excellent. It was thoughtfully designed and balanced to the ears of both veteran and rookie tourists alike. This time my experience with Big Bus Vienna was very disappointing. I had been to more than half a dozen cities of north and Central Europe where I tried various new operators before coming back to Big Bus in Vienna. I am sorry to say that the standards of each of these operator including Big Bus has gone down drastically. With the ubiquitous information sources like Google the average standard of inquisitiveness of tourists has gone up several notches while the Operators' have fallen flat.

It’s was so great, but in Vienna once we have waited for more than 30 mins for the bus in donauturm stop except from all great experience

Bus tour was okay. The audio was understandable and the buses were clean. Stops are few in between. We would have liked to have gotten off and on at many more locations, but no stops available. We missed our stop once and we had to ride the entire circuit again. It took us another 1.5 hours to get around and we lost a lot of our day. I purchased the tickets the day before we needed them via mobile phone and save a couple bucks.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Got to see so much. The guy at stop 5 was so good. He answered all our questions. Allways use Big Bus when we do city breaks.

a few niggles exchanging from the two different tours was disjointed
also we decided to go on the river boat trip which we saw sailing away before we managed to get to the dock it was 4pm and we were told that was the last sail of the day, we were at the palace when we decided on the boat trip and the bus route took for ever.
can some more thought be put into the routes.

2 great Tours and a lot of Buses, but after the 2 Tours, the Music was getting boring because every about 20 Minutes the same 4 or 5 Pieces

Amazing experience in Vienna. The flexibility of getting on and off whoever we felt like, helped us to see whichever place/ palace/ museums we wanted to. Plus the audio was such that the history was covered very well. We will recommend to all family and friends.

We booked our two-day tickets on line, and found to get a bonus plus day. So we had three-day pass for Big Bus tour in our Vienna time.

Especially we were very happy in Big Bus Night Tour by a good live guide.

Tolle Tour, würde ich sofort weiterempfehlen - schade finde ich nur, dass die "Deutsche" Sprecherin KEINE österreichische ist und daher einige Begriffe und Aussprachen nicht landesüblich ("Österreichisch") sind.

Great Tour, but very disappointing that the German speaker ist not an Austrian guy. So many words are not really authentic and the accent/pronuncation is often wrong.

An excellent way of seeing the city and getting an idea of how far things are away from each other before heading off to wonder around.

It was really plesant sightseeing － just as in Barcelona a couple years ago.

The service was reliable. My wife and I have a positive experience. Keep up the good job.
