Really helpful and responsive company to deal with (I was renting a bike from them for the weekend, they were able to answer my questions about it and were clear on what was (and was not) being provided, and the rates were reasonable. Shame there aren't more branches of Biketrax down South.

Great team who provide excellent customer service. Hired a few bikes from Biketrax. The bikes have been well serviced and the booking/collection process was straightforward. I have found the staff helpful and knowledgeable.

2 small points: To fill in Phone nr. Europe didn't work, and paying was not so easy to find out on the website.

Rental bikes were well cared for, and the staff were really helpful, even digging out a spare quad-lock mount for my phone, which was a lifesaver for navigating on unfamiliar roads. Would definitely recommend.

I found Biketrax by contacting Ridley to track down parts (mudguards for an X-Trail). I got the part number, searched it online and Biketrax were listed as a supplier. Very good service from start to completion of the order. I would definitely use them again.

I contacted every bike store in Edinburgh before making my choice and Biketeax were clearly the best for a bike hire.
I got a carbon fiber frame Ridley road bike. Which was beautiful. My only criticism and reason for 4 stars not 5 is that I was not fitted for the bike. Rather than take two minutes to measure my inside leg and fit the seat in the perfect position, it was just raised to a level which "looks about right".
It was nowhere near right, too far forward and too low. But really I was just looking to go for a spin so no problems and I probably could have insisted on them fitting it if I spoke up. The guys working there were all super friendly and easy to talk to.

Edinburgh is a great city to ride, but has pot holes that can kill so be careful on those streets y'all.

Great bikes and service!

We needed hire bike for my sister and a child seat for my nephew. Biketrax were fantastic: understood our needs, were happy to change the hire date twice and everything was set up for us ready to pick up. The 24 hour limit gave us great flexibility with regard to the use of bike. My sister's bike was at best a couple of years old, good gear transmission and cogs and chain in very good condition.

I placed an order for running shoes, soon after placing the order I realised I had ordered a US size, instead of UK, I called them immediately to inform them of the mistake. The correct size was delivered just a couple of days later. Good running shoes, good price, excellent service.
